Sonusai sighs. Why was that vampire so angry? What had transpired that she missed, or was just oblivious too? Opening her cloak, she looks out. The rain stopped! "Finally," she says, smiling faintly. She sighs, and takes out a large comb, dragging it through her now frizzy brown and green curls. She stops, thinking, "And what about that Angel? Why was he there? So far away from home?" She sighs to herself, and continues combing through her tangles. Another problem for another day. And the sun had risen, so it was definitely another day already.

Sage's powers started to act up and he chased her using a sort of blink spell (minor teleportation) to get to the cave. With his lighted vision he sought out the elf girl. She really should not have messed with him... Sage whipped around when he heard her breathing. He smirked in the darkness. He'd have the upperhand, this was his type of fighting terrain. His sword had become a ring on his finger again and his knife was embedded in a tree right next to the angel's face, so he was unarmed. When he saw the elf he sprang upon her and pinned her to the wall, careful to shift his body so that his crotch wasn't in the way of her leg.

She was deep in the labrynth by now, and dinking from a small spring of the sweetest water she had ever tasted.
She turned as she heard footsteps.
Then she grunted as he jumped her and pressed her to the wall. Instantly, she hooked a leg around the closest of his legs and held it prisoner.

She wasn't letting go of it, either. It held him off balance as long as she had a leg lock on his leg.
Then she glared at him.

Sage almost laughed. This was too easy. If only she'd given in to him earlier, they wouldn't be in this little fight. They'd be happily talking to each other at the tavern or in the forest. But no, she had to dash off into the distance like some old folk tale hero and caused all this trouble. Now he had another few choices in front of him. Should he let her go? Or should he straighten his leg, breaking hers. Or maybe he could bite her and make her his unwilling slave?

:: OOC ::
Sage, back off. Noting that she wasn't making her character that involved in current events was enough.
I kindly request all parties that OOC stay in the OOC thread. That's what its for and it distracts from the actual RP.

:: IC ::
Samael didn't move as the dagger Sage threw at him flew over his shoulder and hit a tree with a 'thud' behind him.
He could hear the dagger vibrating but didn't care much for the warning, Vampires and Angels never could get along pretty well, though Samael didn't care much for the fledgeling Vampire. He obviously had no clan of sorts to protect any stupid actions, one of which being the 'warning'.

Samael continued to observe with interest, the elf acted as if human. Acting on her emotions instead of the logic he was accustomed to expect from elves. His hair was caught in a gust of wind as the wind elemental passed his position, Samael could see its ethereal form, eagerly following its masters orders, but it didn't belong to either the Vampire or Elf.

He didn't do anything about the wind-elemental and let it return to its master, sure that they too would soon make an entrance. It seemed the actions of the Vampire and Elf attracted others, strong enough to sense the magic.
And then Briena vanished, gone just like that. His hood moved as he looked up from his concentrated state, he could feel her user her magic once more and then vanish again completely. He hadn't thought her to have such magic reserves left after her earlier use of magicks.

As Sage approached Samael, there wasn't a hint of emotion in Samael's eyes as the moon illuminated his face and made his hair glow a pale white before another cloud blocked out its light. He still stood there, untouched by the rain and with his arms in front of his chest, on into the sleeve of the other.

It was a new arrival that prevented Sage from launching an attack which would have forced Samael to retaliate, already having his bandages peeled away from his hands and runes at the ready. Neither had responded to her though, Samael didn't care to respond to confirm an observation the wind-elemental had made earlier.
Her decision to flee was perhaps for the best, thought Samael, as she backed away from the Vampire. His mouth formed into a thin smile as he thought how only a true Angel would be concerned for something like that, perhaps this one was the only true innocent creature around.

All this time, Samael had not moved from his current position, not even to face a different direction, and still events continued to expand and evolve right in front of his eyes. As the Vampire drew a steel great-sword from a ring, it was the elven women who in turn attack the Vampire. Was it to protect him?
He didn't move and observed the fight, he couldn't care about either side merely their motivation for their actions.
When both disappeared into the labyrinth behind the waterfall, a small window of sorts appeared just above the angels arms facing upwards. He would remain at his current position and observe the events through it.

Briena sensed the danger her leg was in. Due to her human side, she could't heal in a flash.
And a broken leg would spell trouble.
She snarled.
Then sighed and released his leg.
Swiftly, she drew a dagger from her cloak, and stabbed for his heart. If her dagger hit, he would (QUOTING SAGE'S REMARK TO ME IN CHAT) be forced back. Sliding sideways, she Shifted into a White Unicorn.
She had never taken the white Form before. But she didn't take the time to look at herself.
Before he could get his bearings back, she kicked out , her hind hooves aiming for his gut.
Then she was off, heading for the enterance, running faster than he could, with the addition of two more legs.
Her hooves made no sound on the stone.

She burst out of the cave and went carreening of the path, flying through the falls and diving into the pool far below.
It was daylight!
She swam deep into the water, then came up for air. Then she remembered the lightning bolt magic, and decided to leave the water as soon as possible.

She Shifted into her Base Form again and waved her hands over her body, drying herself off instantly.
Glancing at the mostly unmoving Angel, Bri blinked.
Then nodded. But she didn't stop to chat.
She knew the poison in her dagger would knock the vamp out, instant healing or not. If it had hit.

Sage slowly pulled the dagger from his chest. Blood spilled out of his mouth as the hole in his punctured lung healed. The blade barely missed his heart by an inch. He coughed out more blood and leaned against a wall, poison was running through his veins. A vial dropped into Sage's hand from his sleeve and he quickly drank the blue liquid that it held. The potion was an antidote that could stop most poisons. He had bought it off an alchemyst about three weeks ago as a precaution. Sage got off the wall and walked out of the cave, stumbling with every step. Blood still ran out of his mouth as the wound neared the end of the healing process.

She watched the Vampire stagger out of the cave and let out a little *Hmph* of satisfaction.
Then she turned and bowed to the Angel though she never took her concentration off of the Vampire.

Briena then darted off to the Tavern, pulling her hood over her hair.

Sonusai sighs to herself. Maybe the Angel would protect her? Like her parents always said? It was possible. She smiled to herself, and decided to set out and find the Angel. Maybe it would protect her from her ex-husbands. She fingered the scars on her face, and neck, trying not to cry.

After combing out the knots of her long brown and green curls, she picked up her bag and set out to find the Angel. After stumbling through the woods, she came across a tavern. Her long black and green renaissance dress was torn and ragged, and her hands were dirty. She slowly walks in and wanders up to the counter. "A cup of water, please, sir?"

Jevols raises himself up into a yawn, grimacing a bit as he attempts to work the bad taste out of his mouth. Upon deciding there was no way he could accomplish this goal without some aid he stretches his entire body, lazily slipping underneath the table without stopping his wake up ritual. He comes out from underneath the other side of the table and arches his back up so that his belly sticks into the air, nimble toes holding him aloft. Still, stretching his stiff muscles he brings the top half of his body upright, not even using his arms but rather his abdominal and leg muscles entirely, going so far as to even continue stretching his toes. As the neko finished his slight workout he fell forward onto his stomache straight as a board and then kicked his legs back into the air so that his entire body flies up as his bottom lands on the bar stool before him, his upper body whipping around to slam on the counter. He rests his head on intertwined arms on the well-planed wood, burying his face into the enclosure between limbs. He heard a young lady just next to him order some water and he lifted two of his fingers and echoed his point with, "Make that two, will ya?"
Failure?! No-way! I-taught-him-to-shake-hands!

As the Vampire stumbled out of the cave, the 'window' folded in on itself and disappeared. Judging from his earlier behaviour, he guessed the Vampire would most likely chase after the elf again in order to exact some meaningless revenge. He thought both to be pretty young from their own species point of view if they acted this reckless.

As daylight started to crawl over the land, Samael wondered if the Vampire would burst into flames if the sunlight touched its skin. Samael remained to observe the Vampire, curious if perhaps the poison would kill him after all, or prevent him from fleeing.

Sonusai blushes bright red, as a handsome young neko takes a seat next to her. The reddish hue clashes with her olive green skin tone. While curious about the young man, she had learned long ago that to actually say anything aloud would be dangerous to her health. Ergo, she sipped her water, and quietly observed him, hoping he would not in turn, notice her.

Sage looked up at the sun as the wound closed up completely, leaving only a red mark in its place. As the sun shown down on Sage's skin the pigment went a bit paler, but not enough so that it was really noticeable, other than that he was fine. Since he was a half blood, the sun didn't have much effect on him. Sage let his wings reform and he took off into the air. He was going to the tavern to see if the elf girl was there. Thanks to the antidote, the poison from the girl's dagger had no effect on him. Now he was going to have to "return" the knife to her.

The door to the tavern creaks open and a small, mousy figure slips in. A myrtle-green tunic, belted with a length of rope, reaches her knees. Black hair is swept up in a tie, with shorter pieces framing a sharp, angular face. Kev glances around quickly, taking in all possible marks and exits. It's still early and the tavern seems mostly empty.

Wait, by the bar. That male seems somewhat unaware... hungover maybe? To her well-trained eye, he looks like good prey. Not so poor that he's not worth her time but not so rich that he'd have the sway to have her punished badly if caught. The lithe thief moves around Jevols carefully, delicately slipping a hand into his pocket as she goes.

Sonusai noticed the small thief go to make a move on the gentleman sitting next to her. Just as the woman was about to pickpocket, Sonusai grabbed her hand. "Don't. Tis not right." She shakes her head firmly. "I will not stand idly by." Taking a small sack from her bag, she hands it to the woman. "Take this. Tis enough for two meals, and a good night's rest at this tavern. And do not let me see you do this ever again." Her ocean-colored eyes sparkled with hints of blood red fury, and her mouth was set in a tight line. "A lady doth not steal from her neighbors." She then utters a small proverb in her native tongue, and lets go, returning to her small glass of water.

Briena stood deep in the shadows, her blue eyes watching for the Vampire.
She watched the Neko with intense interest, and some pain. He reminded her of a more sophisticated Morgan.
Morgan, an orange eyed Neko male, with black ears and tail, was always a wee bit touched in the head, but in an amusing way.
Briena's mouth quirked into a wide grin as she remembered Morgan's favorite jokes.
And how Kanixillo, the silver/black pelted Lycan, had always groaned in that strange, drawling (Texan!!)accent:
"Would ya show a 'lil maturety, Morg?"
A soft chiming laugh fluttered in her vocals, causing half the male party in the room to look around.
Bri hastily quieted herself, not wanting a repeat of last night.

She slipped over to Renegade, who looked up at her and started to bow deeply.
A short growl made him straighten. "Sorry, m'Lady Bri."
"Keep it down, please, damn you!" She hissed.

She glanced at the young pickpocket who was being scolded by a sharp eyed woman.
"Well caught, madam." She said, warmth in her voice.

Then her head snapped 'round as she sensed the Vampire nearing the Tavern with swiftness, and possibly bad intentions. She snarled in a roaring, deep voice and threw her cloak hood off.

Renegade's jaw nearly fell from his face.
Nearly all the men in the tavern forgot their earlier 'lessons' and started toward her.
"Shit..." She muttered, and darted side to side, dodging hands with easy grace.
She kicked out, then went down under a pile of male bodies.

What ... a... life. What a bloody terrible niusance her beauty was!

The men nearest her in the pile suddenly let out a bloody yell!
A roar of rage erupted from beneath the pile...
The men scattered like quail to the far corners of the room, Renegade included.

A... teeny tiny white kitten sat where Bri had fallen. It's eyes, bluer than anything, were fixed on the quivering men...
She slunk toward them, then growled... "Boo."

Screams filled the room, and a thunder of heavy, drunken footbeats cascaded out the door. Meaning the humans had evacuated the Tavern at high speed...

What a wonderful life...
Briena Shifted back into a woman, and fixed the tears in her clothing, waiting on the Vampire.

Sage had already been at the door of the tavern. He had made his wings dissappear and a cyclone of black feathers now surrounded gim. When the feathers finally fluttered to the floor, Sage grinned. "These cattle really can't keep their hands off you, can they?" He said with a superior tone. He apparently had something against humans. Possibly something from his past?

A human man charged at Sage with what seemed to be.. a wooden stake. Sage put up his arm and flinched slightly as the stake stabbed in. Another hunter waiting for him... In a flash of unseen movement, the hunter was sent flying into the wall on the opposite side of the tavern. When it looked like it had been over, blood suddenly shot out of the hunter, showing that he had been cut in many, many places.

Sage pulled the wooden stake from his arm, splashing his blood across the floor. He grinned as the wound healed. "Nasty little humans never learn their lesson, huh? No matter what they've seen or heard about, they just keep coming back." Sage spun the stake around then flung it at the hunter's corpse, where it sunk into the poor man's skull.

Sage slung his arm to the side, spraying all the blood covering it onto the ground. That was going to be fun to clean up, huh? Briena's dagger dropped out of Sage's sleeve and into his hand. "I think this might be yours." He said as he showed Briena her blood covered dagger.

Sonusai looks up at the beautiful woman who spoke to her. "I thanketh thee." She then returns to her water, only to sense a dark force entering. She turns around, and spies the vampire that she had approached earlier. Startled, and slightly scared, she puts her long black hooded cloak back on, and turns back to the counter, hoping she isn't noticed. Suddenly, the kind woman who had spoken to her was under attack from all the men in the building. "What on earth?" Sonusai is stunned. She had seen shapeshifting before in her village, but none that seemed so harmless, and yet scared so many.
