Zack was... very, very confused. And was getting a bit angry.
"Uhm... What are you talking about? Me and Masa are going out... I sorta tore her dress, in our... excursion, in the alley. I don't need your goddamn permission, nor blessing, Raphael." he said, venom pouring into his voice near the end.
Who the hell did he think he was? Telling him he had permission?!

Raphael was standing outdoors on the sidewalk before the club. He was on the phone.
Masa studied him, reading his lips when she could. It was difficult because he kept turning away.
Was he talking to Zack? She caught something along the lines of "all yours". Ahh... that would make sense.
Raph had called Zack to tell his friend that he was giving up on the girl, and she was the girl in question.
That's what he thought.
Masa began to get worried though. What was Raph saying to Zack? And the other way around. Jesus, if they couldn't keep their mouths shut then things were about to get more complicated.

He didn't have any idea what he was talking about. How could this have happened if Masa had just said that she wanted to be with him?
Raphael stood there for a moment, shocked as he slowly turned his head around back towards to the cafe to look into the fogged windows. With his eyes widened with shock, he stared back into Masa's diabolical eyes.
Did this mean?

He didn't have any idea what he was talking about. How could this have happened if Masa had just said that she wanted to be with him?

Zack gritted his teeth some, "Masa and I are dating. Now, you're my friend, so I won't expect you to fuck it up... But don't fuck it up. I have shit to do."
And with that, he abruptly ended the phone conversation, and walked into the gas station, purchasing a can of gas and filling it to the brim.
Think he could fucking give him PERMISSION!!
Zack muttered profanities and oaths under his breath, as he lugged the can with absolutely no effort towards the warehouse. He could smell the sweet aroma of blood and flesh filling the air, a perfume that lightened the smell of the city. But the gasoline smelled just as sweet as he went inside, and started pouring it over bodies, and over the worn down woodwork.

Raphael turned towards the cafe. His gaze penetrated past the fogged windows and met her eyes.
What was he thinking? There was an uncertain knowledge in his eyes. As if he suddenly knew something about her.
No, no! If he'd already figured her out it was all ruined! She couldn't afford for this to happen.
She racked her brain, trying to think of what to do. Although, without knowing the entirety of the circumstances, it was almost useless.
Tonight. Tonight she would call one of her people, and they could find out what was said. And then she would invade Zack's mind... but what to do about Raphael? If he knew about her, or even suspected, she needed to find out. She would try and enter his mind as well then. And if he knew... then she would have to take care of it.

Frozen with fright, Raphael continued to stare through the glass at her. Idiot...
Masa stood, smoothing down her dress and began to make her way to the door. She avoided tables and people and finally pushed the door open, reveling in the cool night air.
"Raph?" she asked, voice concerned. "What's going on, are you okay?"
The door slipped shut behind her, cutting off the noise from inside.

Raphael gulped, slowly pulling the phone back from his ear and closing it with a loud snap. His eyes widened, his eyes burning because he didn't want to blink. He was too afraid that she was going to do something to him.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm ok..." he said hesitantly.
He wasn't sure what he was gonna do. But for now, he planned on just playing with Masa. It seemed like the only way not to die here and now.

Then his demeanor changed. As if nothing was out of the ordinary, he said, "Actually, I'm perfect now that you're here." As if he wasn't terrified of her. But she could smell his fear.

She smiled, leaning into his touch, eyes fluttering shut for a moment. "I'm glad. You left sort of suddenly." Masa took his hand and entwined her fingers in his, looking up at him. "Was that Zack on the phone?" she asked worriedly.

Raphael shook his head a little too soon. He didn't want Masa to know that he'd talked to Zack.
"No babe," he tightened his fingers around hers, "I was talking to my friend. We were fighting over his one car, Oh it was so beautiful. I was going to meet him in a few to talk prices...but I told him that he could have her because I was with the more beautiful woman in the world."
Raphael leaned down slightly, pressing his forehead against hers, his hair pushing back slightly, her bangs in front of his eyes. He tightened his grip on her cheek, fulling cupping it and closed his eyes, cherishing the moment with Masa. He didn't have to act on this part.
He really did enjoy this.
