An Unheard Plea
I don't understand. If God is supposed to love us eternally and equally, then... then why were we cast aside? We didn't sin. We didn't do anything wrong! But now our wings are blackening, the sign of an outcast, and a mark has been imprinted on our skin, the sign of a sinner. We're being treated as traitors by those in Heaven. And Lucifer-- he opens the Gates of Hell for us, welcoming us with open arms!
I don't wanna go there. I don't want to go to Hell. What did I do to deserve this punishment? What did any of us do? God, why did You cast us out? Why did You abandon us? I can't take not knowing. Please, please just tell me... I'll repent, whatever it is, I'll repent. But... what did I do wrong?
Synopsis
This is the story of seven angels who Fall from Heaven, cast out because of something they swear they didn't do. Sin. They are innocent, as far as they know, but for some reason or another God threw them out and banished them to wander the mortal world. It is there they will serve a temporary sentence until the purity that once claimed their whole entire being is completely gone and all that is left is their taint; then they are doomed to Hell where Lucifer will welcome them with open arms.
On earth, these angels will wander in search for a place to stay and meet a human who seems caring and will take them in. It is with this person, who so kindly opened their doors for them, they will learn about the human world and discover the various sins that tempt man. Despite being angels, they will be exposed to these sins as well and -- without realizing how easily they succumb to the evil -- will slowly but surely develop a love for one certain sin in particular.
As a whole, these Fallen angels will become the origin for the Seven Deadly Sins.
Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride. Each angel will fall for one of these sins.
And though they don't know it, Lucifer, ever crafty and welcoming to new sinners and outcasts from Heaven, will deploy 1-3 demons and disguise them as humans. These servants will befriend the seven angels and manipulate them into falling deeper and deeper into sin. Lucifer's soul is to capture these seven angels for himself and make them Fall completely.
The seven angels will have to struggle with retaining their purity and prove to God they are innocent after all. Otherwise, they will surely succumb to the temptations of Sin and Fall into Hell.
Time/Place
This takes place in modern times in the human world. The story begins when the angels are convicted and first arrive on earth. There will be no specifics as to where exactly they have landed, only that it's somewhere between now and the past ten to fifteen years. There will be no mention of current politics -- no mentions to presidents or political figureheads, no specific names to current civil discrepancies, etc. If history does happen to crop up during the RP, it should be kept to a minimum because it does not play a major or important role in the story.
However, mentions of certain facilities like public bathrooms, cell phones, buses, airplanes, elevators, trains, scooters, computers, television, etc that are widely known all over the world are okay in mentioning. So long as there is no mention of specific politics to certain countries, it's fine. Pretend we are somewhere there is a democracy and ample enough freedom for everyone to do as they want, whenever they want, however they want.
Characters
There will be SEVEN angels, one assigned to a specific Seven Deadly Sin. There can be UP TO three demons of Lucifer, though there does not have to be. A minimum of ONE is required.
These are LIMITED SPACES. There can be only seven angels and up to three demons. The only way will there be an opening for another of either character (if we so happen to fill up all the spaces) would be if an RPer drops their position as the role or has not been active in the RP for a certain amount of time without good reason.

Character Skeleton
Despite being ethereal beings, everyone looks normal. They look like every other human on earth. The only way to tell if they are an angel or demon is to find their "mark," a tattoo of sorts upon their skin somewhere on their body that either associates them as a Fallen, or a Demon. They can be as big or as small as you want, but preferably discrete and able to be hidden under normal clothes.

All roleplayers must fill out one of these two bios. Characters must be approved in order to play. Please be as descriptive as you can. Images are accepted for appearances, but please don't make them huge. If you cannot shrink the image, post it as a link. Also, if using images instead of text to describe your character, try to stay away from bust shots. A full body image is preferable -- but if that's really all you have, add text as well to fill in where the image lacks.
Character Romance
Romance is not forbidden. Two angels may engage in romance if they want to. Two demons may do so also. Even a relationship between an angel and demon is okay too. But if you plan on getting a little risque and raunchy with your partner, please keep that to PMs on account that minors might be looking at this thread and feel uncomfortable reading your writing.
If you want to play a homosexual character (gay/lesbian/bi), that's fine too, but keep in mind that not all characters will be oriented that way. You can make your character persistent in pursuing a relationship with another character of the same gender, but don't push the other person (namely the RPer) into a corner where he/she may feel awkward about your character's advances.
If in doubt about your partner's response towards a relationship -- hetero or homo -- don't hesitate to ask in an OOC or here in this thread or even in a PM.
Rules
It may seem unnecessary, but a refresher may be useful for many.
1. No god-modding characters.
2. Don't kill off another person's character without permission.
3. No magnificent powers -- all characters are posing as humans; all such tricks, even demons, will be kept to an extreme minimum. No one will be allowed to display powers if unless specifically directed by the creator of the RP for a certain scene in the story.
4. No insulting / bullying the RPer -- be tasteful and polite.
Requirements
This may seem like a redundant topic, but there are a few requirements for someone to join this RP. They are very simple but necessary.
1. Must have a strong grasp of English grammar. -- This means no txt speech. (No u, lol, zomg, ttly, sum1... etc.) Acronyms are acceptable, if they are made properly.
2. Spell checks often. -- Some typos are fine, no one's perfect, but please keep it to a minimum. If you have to, read over your stuff once or twice before posting.
3. Posts often. -- I hope this RP will be active, and if it is, I ask that everyone be able to post regularly, at least once every other day. If you are skeptical you are able to commit to this, perhaps you should reconsider joining. If you are really interested in it, though, but may have some schedule problems that will get in the way of your being able to post often, please make note of that to me and we will see if there is something we can work out.
