Alex pushed her shoulder length black hair out of her dark brown eyes, standing up. At first, she was dissoriented...This was her black shirt, she remembered. Yes, hers. She had tired of the sleeves a long time ago and took them off at the shoulder. She remembered the ache in her fingers as she sewed them to look proffessional.
She looked a bit further down. Black jeans. Yes, they were hers. Nothing wrong there. And she still had her running shoes. And they were still white.
Remembering, she clutched her stomach...And was relieved. Atleast, somewhat relieved. There was still a chance...No, she pushed that thought away. They'd be alright. Luckily, the boy who had done this to her had drowned in the storm, along with the two friends of his who had joined in.
Alex looked behind her, and saw the people all going in a group and into the shade. Knowing she had to get cooler, she followed them, but kept her distance. She wasn't very social.
'Hey, look, it's that Alex kid,' some guys mutterd. 'Yo, I hear she's an orphan, eh?' said another. 'Yeah,' replied the first. 'She's living with some foster family that look nothing like her.' Feeling sad and keeping her head down, Alex sat carefully under a coconut tree, and hoped she and gravity wouldn't share an Isaac Newton moment. Tenting her fingers over her stomach and extending her legs, she closed her eyes, wishing for the memory of this all to fade away.
(OOC: Well, I hope that helped)
