Eight years ago in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, something strange happened. Something unlike the world had ever seen before and has ever seen since. A group of children, all of them otherwise unremarkable, were given an incredible gift- and a great responsibility. Their gift was a friendship with creatures both bizarre and wondrous. Their responsibility was their partnership with these creatures, for tamer and beast to stand side by side as friends and allies against whatever challenges they came up against in two worlds under siege.

Now, in New York City, it's happening again. A new group of children are being granted that same gift and responsibility- and they all have a new and powerful threat to contend with, one that threatens to tear apart the very fabrics of space and time and reduce the universe to darkness.

RULES
- The usual stuff- No god-modding, no bullying or abusing other players, no overly harsh language, et cetera.
- Good grammar! Please use spell check. Spell check is your friend. Post length doesn't bother me much, just please use proper grammar.
- No sexual stuff. I know you'd think there'd be none of that in an RP about something like Digimon, but believe me; some people like to sneak it in. Please don't slip it in here. Romance IS allowed, just nothing too explicit. Or too cutesy. That's almost as bad.
- Only one tamer to a player and only one Digimon to a tamer.
- There is a story here, so please try to develop it and stick to it once it is developed. I'd like to see where we can take the plot, but even so let's not get too crazy; even an oddball premise like Digimon has to make SOME sense.

Bio: Aira has lived in new york all her life. She's always been the reckless type of girl who loves the thrill of adventure. She hangs out with a gang of boys and they got her into the digimon card game. Soon she was the best at her school beating even the top boys. When she entered a Tournament she played and came in 2nd in the state. After that while on her way home her Digivice came to her from the sky. She didn;t know what it was but she clipped it to her belt and went home that night when she awoke from a nightmare there was Renamon sitting in her room. They've been together ever since.

Bio: Renamon became Aira partner after Aira reseived her Digivice shortly after a Digimon tournament. Renamon does not remember how she came to the real world from the Digiworld; she only remembers waking in Aira's bedroom.

Appearance: Tall, fairly fit, and rather handsome (although he doesn't admit it himself), Carver has dark brown eyes and short, hardly-groomed blonde hair. He often wears his favorite (and somewhat ragged-looking) navy blue hoodie with jeans and his silver pagan cross pendant hanging from his neck. Not that's he's a pagan- he just thinks it looks cool.
Nationality: Canadian-German
Bio: Born to a Canadian father and German mother in Halifax, Canada, he moved from his homeland to New York when he was 8. He often wears a serious expression; suiting, since his outside demeanor is professional and no-nonsense. Beyond that, however, he's actually fairly affable and compassionate, and quite modest. Skilled at playing both electric and bass guitar, he aspires to start his own metal band one day. He often worries about Velocimon and is still a bit uneasy around him, keeping the digimon on a tight leash out of fear that he could hurt someone- or be hurt himself.

Special Attack: Viral Rend (charged at enemy with a sudden and impressive burst of speed and delivers a deep, accurate slash with his toe sickles)

Appearance: His body shape is exactly like a velociraptor from Jurassic Park, only smaller (about four feet tall at the shoulder). His skin is mainly murky swamp green with vibrant crimson stripes on his back, neck, arms, and legs (like Carver's Digivice). A row of brighter green spines run down his back and neck. His teeth and claws are pale yellow and his eyes are bright violet.

Evolutionary Chain: Velocimon -> Tyrannomon -> MasterTyrannomon -> Gojiramon (More on him later)

Bio: When Velocimon initially leapt out of Carver's computer screen, the human was terrified of him; Velocimon was little more than a wild, brutish animal. However, as time went on Carver managed to tame Velocimon and the two bonded. Now civil, Velocimon is not particularly smart and still a bit feral; he can only speak in fragmented sentences and he is very distrustful of strangers. However, he trusts Carver wholly, utterly loyal to his tamer, and will do anything to protect him.

so is there a guide line for this RP or are we just jumping in. I'm vary existed.

OoC: Let's just jump right in and we'll wing it. I don't have much idea of where to start, so do you want to start us off?

OoC: Sure, that works. And while you do that, maybe Carver and Velocimon are hanging out there when Velocimon smells/sees/hears Renamon and is all ZOMG WE DON'T KNOW THAT DIGIMON and attacks while Carver tries to get him under control. Starting things with a bang, you know? And I guess Victim can join in whenever he comes back on. Sound alright?

(Sounds great! do other humans know about teh digimon? If not we could start it at night so like its the only time the Digimon can come out with us.)

OoC: I forgot about that part! No, the others humans don't know that our characters have Digimon. They are aware that Digimon exist and can enter the real world- after all that happens in the show it would be hard not for people to know- but again, they don't know that we have Digimon partners. And since people know about Digimon and they threat some of them can possess, there's a special police force that patrols every major city to capture and control any Digimon that enters the real world- including ours.

Yeah, I know, I really should have put that in the intro, but I actually didn't think this up until now. I'll update that later.

So yes, let's start at night. Much less risk so things don't get too crazy too early.

Aira Peeked her head around the entrance to Central park. She looked up and down the pack carefully. Once she was sure no other humans were out she breathed out. She motioned for Renamon to follow her in. Renamon nodded from the shadows and moved quickly in keeping to the shadows the best she could. They moved quickly threw the park until the made it to the forest area inside. Once in the cluster of trees she slowed down and walked with her hands clasped behind her head, they way she normal did. Renamon glanced from side to side scanning her surroundings.

"Are you sure we are safe here? I still think this is a bad idea." She said walking a little behind Aira like she normal did. She was about a foot taller then Aira. Aira sighed.

"Don't worry so much. It after mid-night. No one's going to be out here this late." She said they walked on threw the trees and found a small clearing to sit down. Aira layed down and looked up at the stars.

"Alright, if you say so. And i do thank you for getting me out of the house. It is rather small." Renamon said.

She stayed in the shadows and leaned up agenst a big old oak tree. Aira smiled She knew this chance to get out made Renamon happier then she was letting on. Plus she hated to have her crammed up in her house all day. Aira wished that she could take Renamon out everywhere with her but that couldn't happen.

Central Park at midnight was dark, quiet, and empty; perfect for Velocimon. He stayed locked in the basement during the day, where he was forced to stay silent until nightfall. Carver felt some relief at letting him out in the park; not only did it let him get out some steam, there was no one around for him to attack. Carver stayed off to the side, leaning against a tree while his Digimon sniffed the ground and scratched at the dirt, carving deep gouges in the earth. A low growl rose from him- in Velocimon's case, this was a sound indicating consciousness rather than aggression.

Then, his head shot up to direct his gaze to the sky. His nostrils flared. His talons and spines began to twitch and his lips curled upwards to bear his jagged teeth. These were signs of aggression.

"What is it?" Carver asked.

"Another Digimon nearby," Velocimon replied, his voice a hoarse, gurgling hiss. Suddenly, he turned around and sprinted off into the darkened trees!

"Vee, wait!" Carver shouted at him, taking off after his partner! He ran as fast as he could, but he was not nearly agile enough to stop Velocimon. He only hoped he could get there fast enough to keep him from doing anything.

Aira breathed in as another warm breeze washed threw the clearing. She stood up and started to spin around. Renamon looked on threw teh shadows.

Humans are a strange bunch...

Then Renamon stood up and stood perfectly still. She twitched her head form side to side. Footsteps, Moving fats toward them. Then in another breeze a digimons sent came with it. Renamon Jump up and landed in between aira and the tree line where the new digimon. Aira stopped seeing Renamon move.

"What is it" She asked quickly running up to stand behind Renamon. Renamon's gase didn't moved from the stop she knew the digimon would break threw.

"Another Digimon is coming towards us, fast. Stay behind me." She said Waiting. The footsteps where getting closer now. Renamon got into a defencive stance and Aira stood ready for what might come at them.

With blinding speed and an enraged shriek, Velocimon leapt from the underbrush onto the offending Digimon, pouncing on top of her and knocking her off her feet down to the ground! Growling and huffing, he slashed and bit at her face, trying to find his way past her defending hands to rip her apart!

"Vee!" he only faintly heard Carver screaming after him. "Velocimon, stop!" He ignored his tamer. He had to eliminate the Wild One. There was a human girl nearby; the WIld One was almost upon her by the time he'd gotten there! He still remembered with perfect clarity what Carver had told him; "We have to protect people from WIld Ones." And he intended to do that.

"Renamon! Be careful! Fight back!" She screamed seeing how Renamon was only trying to defend and not attack. She never attacked without a purpose. But with aria's Go ahead she pushed the Digimon back. She threw him across the clear And jumped up. she breathed in and used Diamond Storm on the digimon. Aira stood back but stayed close enough to watch out for her digimon.

Velocimon regained his footing quickly and swiftly dodged the counterattack. Almost immediately after the evasion, he began to run back in for his next move. But before he could, he heard Carver's voice one last time.

"Dammit, Vee, STOP! That isn't a Wild One!"

Velocimon came to a halt and eyed his tamer. It wasn't? But the girl-

"Look at the girl! She's protecting the girl from you!"

Velocimon trained his gaze on the girl. The other DIgimon did not face her, only him, indeed assuming a defensive stance. With a snort, he stood down and backed away, going to Carver's side.

Carver shot his Digimon a scolding glare, and then sighed and looked at the other two. "I'm so sorry," he said fittingly apologetically. "He's still learning. I promise this won't happen again."

Aira to Renamon and looked her over once.

"Are you hurt?" She asked There was a cut on her arm nothing to serious. Renamon relaxed a little but kept her eyes on the digimon, Not trusting him to stop because the human told it to.

"I'm fine. Nothing a short time will not heal." She said standing proudly. Aira turned and looked at the other tamer. She was a little angry that he couldn't get his digimon under control. She stood with Renamon behind her.

"You should have been able to stop him. What the hell is wrong with him? They could have had a full on battle and that would have alerted the D.M.D.T. then all four of us would be on the run!" she said quickly. She looked the boy over for the first time. They were the only other Digimon-Tamer team they had ever meant. She had heard from Renamon that there use to be a bunch of humans that had Digimon as there tamers but that didn't happen anymore.

OOC: I was thinking that the D.M.D.T Would be like the Digital Monster Defence team. It would be the special police force that hunts down wild digimon.If you don't like it i can change it. Let me know!

OoC: I like it, good name! Let's go with that.

Carver kept his cool; her anger was justified and her points were valid. "He's a practically a WIld One himself is basically what's wrong with him. I'm still trying to get him under control." Next to him, Velocimon kept his eyes on the other Digimon, a low hiss escaping his half-open jaws. "Quiet, you," he quietly said. The Digimon became silent.

"Me and Velocimon come here every night. Normally there isn't anyone else here, so this is really the first time this has happened," Carver explained. "He knows your scent now, so he'll know not to do this again, if that's any condolence."

Both parties were silent for a few moments.

"We'll... Just be going now," concluded Carver as he turned around in preparation to leave.

Aira calmed herself down a little. She had always had a quickly temper. She had been working on it lately.

"We just moved here form Canada actually. Its our first time in central park. We usually head down by the docks. Its pretty deserted there too."

A moment past as aira looked the digimon over once. Aira watched as the boy was about to leave.

"Wait! If you have some time why don't you stick around. I mean, Its the first time I've met another Tamer before. Its kinda nice to know I'm not the only one." She said. She was happy to know that she wasn't the only person in the entire world with a Digimon. And The other Tamer was in new york too. She had a few questions but she didn't wanna feel like it was an interview.
