Well, Unfortunately, I have kept up with what's been going on and I'm going to have to leave at the beginning of March, so it would probably be best for me just to drop out now. Sorry.

Well, I plan on coming back to the Gateway, but I'll be gone for at least a year, possibly as much as two. So there probably isn't much chance of me coming back into this one, unless people don't post for that long, and I sincerely hope that doesn't happen.

I was wondering... I realize the story has progressed extremely far. But.. is it now too late to join? I'm asking you mainly, Oni. I had thought about cheking this one out before, but never got around to it, and now it's been pretty much launched, and now it's flying.

Yes, but is it too late to join? I was thinking of introducing a drow. I do like my drow so. Is it alright? I'd ask you to PM me with a VERY general summary of what's happened if you let me join. It would help me jump right in, instead of taking hours to read everything.

Biography: Born in the largest of the drow subterranean cities, he grew up to be a royal guard, and a royal pain in the queen's and her daughters' butts. He left after his wife was killed, finding out that she had tried to get to him to get him to leave. The drow had been conspiring to join the Nebul. That didn't go over too well, so he left, and is now seeking an opprotunity to strike back at both the Nebul and his own people.
Personality: Reserved and cautious, he'll throw both to the wind if he's in love or with friends. He still can't get the death of his wife out of his head, so he has a short temper sometimes.
Weapons/Magical Ability/Talent: He owns two scimitars, and duel-wields them in close quarters combat. He also has a short bow and small quiver, and a tonto. A tonto is larger than a dagger, but shorter than a ninjato. He can summon shadows to his bidding, and cast faerie fire, which outlines normal creatures or people, and actually burns summoned creatures as well as outlining them.
Other: He keeps his wife's favorite trinket, a magical sapphire pendant enchanted to enhance one's own abilities in anything, on a large chain around his neck.
