Kids all over America have been disappearing, in the middle of the night or in broad daylight, they have just vanished. The FBI and police all over America are searching for these children, with no leads. They've just completely vanished into thin air. Unaware to everyone is that there are a group of scientists experimenting on these children in a secret location. Doing the unthinkable to them in order to get results on what happens, may they be psychological tests, mental tests, even going as far as chemical and sexual tests. Finally, after what seems like months, the FBI get a break in where these kids are.
The scientists are one step ahead though and decide to get rid of the evidence. Of the 50 kids they have, they take them to another part of the warehouse and shoot them all before burning down the laboratory and disappearing themselves. Thinking they had got rid of the evidence, they'd never be caught. The only problem is, there are 6 survivors among all the dead.
When the FBI arrive at the massacre, there is little hope until they start the search for survivors, finding 6 that are barely alive and immediately are taken to a secure hospital and put on watch by FBI agents. All of them having been shot, go into surgery and luckily, all come out alive. Deeply traumatised though, the FBI have to work hard to try and get what happened out of these kids. Some may be willing to talk, others won't but its a race against time as the scientists may want the survivors dead or they may just start up the same thing again in a different location, targetting more innocent children.

Roles

These are the roles I need filling, though with the scientists, they won't be around all the time, so I need at least 3 people to take on a role of a scientist and another character. The scientists will be there at the beginning and then depending what happens, will pop up at different times, so if you want to be a scientist, try and sign up to another character as well so you will be in the roleplay often.

I would like a couple of more people to apply for the FBI so then I can start up the roleplay. I would really appreciate that. Thanks Also, once the couple of FBI agent roles are taken, I may be open to adding more FBI / Children, though it depends on the popularity as I've stated 5 survivors, though I may make more, again depending on things, even if all roles are full, ask if any roles are open and I'll see what I can do .

Personality: Samantha is a shy girl. She always has been and since been taken she's found things traumatic and has become withdrawn since then. She hardly talks or communicates with the others around and has practically given up on life, not caring about what happens next.
Before she was taken though, Sam was the typical girl, nice, funny and smart with a good future ahead of her, though now it looks like its been ruined.
Background: Before Sam was taken she was happy and a fun girl, despite been shy at first. She had a few friends and was very smart for her age. She had a loving family, including an older brother and a younger brother and sister. She even had a love interest, Braiden. Things couldn't have been better for Sam until that fateful night. She was walking home from her job at the local library and Braiden was late picking her up. She decided she'd just meet him so started walking. Not even two minutes after that decision, had a van stopped and dragged her inside before taking off again. The only thing left in the snow was the tracks, which were soon covered by a new layer of snow or other car tracks. Braiden arrived a few minutes later to find Sam gone and after that no one saw her again. It's been a few months since she disappeared and she's the latest victim.

Personality: Positive, confident, and just plain friendly. He could easily accept a complete stranger, void of suspicion. Not exactly the honest guy, he would tell a lie if it could keep the mood light and happy. A guy who would lie to even himself to keep things positive. After his kidnapping incident, he did not change -- at least, outwardly he did not change. Additionally, ever since the kidnapping incident, he has been afraid of heights.

Background: He was a friendly person, well-liked by his peers and teachers. While his academic scores were plain average, his social life knew no bounds. Party over here, gathering over there, a reunion at the corner--he'd be there. He has a family consisting of his now-single mother, and a younger brother, who is greatly fond of Mark, and looks up to his older brother as his role model. He also had a great crush on a girl whose name he could no longer remember after the kidnapping incident.

He was kidnapped during autumn, the season he loves the most. On the way to pick his brother up from elementary school, he caught a glimpse of a feminine leg among the bushes at the sidewalk. Curious, and slightly terrified at the thought that it could be a corpse, he turned to the bushes and, in a quick, blurry second, he felt his head hit the pavement sidewalk. And then everything went blank.

Until he came across one particular group of scientists who offered him to join their project… A project that fulfilled his sick desires; A project that required genuine, living humans.

Holly's a nice person, both in the office and outside of it. Her heart breaks when she works with the children in her cases, and because of that fact, she works even harder to help the children and solve the case. She is small in stature and with her wild hair and her nose ring, a lot of kids think she's "cool" and look on her less as an authority figure and more as a friend. She has a collection of video games, books, magazines, cds, stuffed animals, and movies that she keeps in her office and in the trunk of her car and often uses them to assist her in helping children "open up"

Background:
Holly's older brother was taken when he was 13 and his body wasn't found until 6 years later. Holly knows all about the fears and the dangers that the parents of missing children experience as well as the pain that children found alive carry with them. She has made it her personal goal in life to avenge her brother's death on a daily basis, as his killer was never found. Instead, she works to avenge his death by putting others who cause the same pain and death behind bars, over and over, knowing that one day, if she gets enough of them, her brother's killer will finally be behind bars, where he (or she) belongs.

Holly's exceptionally professional and finds very little time for a personal life. She also never speaks to the children in her group as if they're anything other than little adults. She is frank with them, and will answer their questions as honestly as she can, and expects the same from them. She is not the sort of person who talks baby-talk to children, no matter how young they are.

Personality: He is a very sadistic young man and has a black heart, caring for nothing and noone. He acts very sarcastic in a nasty way and knows how to hurt people, deliberately causing pain for no reason.
Background: When he was 5, he witnessed the murder of his parents. It was his older brother who killed them. He then took Trystan and joined a gang with him, teaching him how to be a killer as well. It started off with animals, but at 15 Trystan took a step in the same direction as his brother and killed an elderly man, since then Trystan has always had the urge to kill or at least cause pain. Though he is only 25, he is very clever and this experimentation facility was his idea. And it's been very successful. Though it was with his brother's help at first, Trys runs it alone now with a group of fellow scientists. The reason they chose children to participate in thier sick experiments, was because they were helpless and would less likely fight to escape. To this day, the lab has not been discovered and no one has escaped.

Well, I'm not normally, but if I do see posts I like, then I do rate them and its normally when I see one that I think is worth four or five stars. I've only just started using though. I put the character profiles for 5 stars though, because I loved them both

It is exactly as how our GM had put it, Billie (if I may call you that?). You may vote if you feel that a post deserves it. Usually I don't have the heart give a two star or less -- I'd just leave the post unrated.

In my opinion, I'd prefer to vote when something's, like, monumental, or something.

But what do I know? I haven't been given the right to rate yet xD (Requirements to be able to rate a post: Two weeks of membership and a minimum of 10 posts total)

Yea, I read that earlier to stop my curiousity about it. As far as I'm concerned, just rate if you think it deserves it. I'm not big on ratings so I won't snap at people if they don't rate me as I'm not all that bothered if I'm rated or not. I just rate though when I think its deserved

Personality: Johanna is often considered 'the quiet one' of the group. She doesn't like to voice her opinion because she's learned that it only gets you hurt. But, if they're talking about something she feels strongly about, she speaks up. She's the observing type, and she is very curious- so she's often in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Background: Johanna's father disappeared when she was six. Her mother remarried when she was seven, and then she and her new one disappeared as well. About a week later, her older sister CImmaron began showing... interest in Johanna. Something happened, she doesn't know what, and it sparked something inside of her. As soon as her fist had collided with her older sister's face, her cousin(and thus keeper of house) came in. Johanna was sent off to an adoption agency, and was taken soon after by the nicest people she'd ever met. She happily took their last name and everything, as well. Nothing really happened until she was about thirteen and a half. She'd been in a large place, when people had came in and started shooting those around her. She'd had no idea what was going on, at all. She remembers being pushed against a wall and having a knife shoved in her eye before police came.
She was abducted while she was just outside of her home, in the front yard. When her parents tried to save her, they were injured.

Oooo Roselite, accepted. That is definitely a different character, that I wouldn't normally like but considering the roleplay it works and I do like it . I could see a lot happening with her character in this especially since you mentioned thinking about becoming evil .
