Ginny said nothing in retort as Malfoy screamed after her. She hardly cared. It was obvious that Draco Malfoy didn't like being told no. Ginny was actually quite proud of herself for resisting him and being able to insult him. Who was he to tell her what to do and pull on her emotions? Ginny wasn't going to let herself stand it. She was her own person and could do what she pleased. She hated being told what to do and what not to do, where to go and where not to go, and so she had decided that she wouldn't let anyone hold her back.

The next day Gnny was in a rather chipper mood. She had gotten her charms homework back with excellent marks. She didn't care who or what came her way that day, she was determined to stay happy. Ginny rarely ever got marks so high in charms, so to get them as high as she did, she was quite ecstatic about it.

"Hey Collin!" Ginny chirped happily as she sat down at the Gryffindor table for lunch in the Great Hall.

"Hey miss Sunshine," Collin chuckled as she sat down next to him. "What has you in such a merry mood?" he asked her curiously.

"I happened to get top marks in Charms today." Ginny sang as she bit into an apple.

For the next little while she merely chatted amiably with Collin and a few of her other friends. It was nice to just relax for a while. It felt as though it had been a long time since she had let her worries go. Ginny hadn't been quite so happy in a rather long time. It felt good to smile and laugh with her friends.

On the other hand, Draco was in a horrible mood, worse than usual. He had slept through most of his morning classes and was only awaken by a loud 'boom' in the common room, seemed as if one of the guys had said something out of the said to Pansy Parkinson and she hexed him. Draco smirked when he heard the news, he had taught the girl well.

Most of the Slytherin house and Hogwarts thought Draco and Pansy were a couple. It was quite wrong. They were the best of friends. They had crushes on each other up until fifth year when they decided friends was all they would be. He slipped out of the common room to the Great Hall, un-noticing due to the huge laughing crowd. The boy had been turned into a frog.

He sat at the Slytherin table and happened to notice the little red head laughing or something. His revenge plan wouldn't work in public too well. But he was Draco Malfoy. He always had a great idea.

"Excuse me!" He bellowed, standing on the bench he was just sitting. "I have an announcement." The school turned to look at him as the teachers were yelling at him to get down and shut up. He didn't care. "I slept with Ginny Weasley last night." He said simply before jumping off the bench and strutting out of the Great Hall.

Ginny hadn't thought that anything could spoil her mood that day, but that was not so. She was such taking a bite of shepherds pie when Draco Malfoy had stood to his feet and called attention. The fork Ginny had been holding dropped to her plate and clattered as the food was launched into the air and landed in a third years goblet. The whole Great Hall was perfectly silent as Malfoy strode from the Great Hall arrogantly.

"Ginny!" Hermione gasped after she had regained her composure. Ginny was quite lucky that Harry and Ron were both late to lunch that day. She knew they would be tearing after Malfoy if they had seen his display. Ginny also knew that when the two found out, Malfoy wouldn't know what hit him.

"I did not! The little git!" Ginny's temper kicked in as she stood up to her feet and huffed. She stalked out of the Great Hall with whispers and eyes following her back.

Out in the corridor she spotted Malfoy going down the stairs to the dungeon.

"Oi!" she shouted after him. "Lying git!" she stormed after him with her fists balled up. How dare he spout such a lie in front of the whole school!

As Ginny caught up to him she pulled her hand back and punched him in the face. "What gives you the right to announce to the whole school that I slept with you? Are you bitter because I was the first girl to tell you no?" she was seething with anger. "I'm going to tear your pretty little face off and then no other girl will ever want to sleep with you again!" she shrieked and pulled her hand back to hit him once more.

Oh she was going to make him pay for that remark. She couldn't even believe that she had felt sympathy and pity for him the day before.

Draco grabbed her hand quickly before she had the chance to strike him again. He was still quite proud of himself. Of course, it was only a taste of what was to come. He chuckled a bit when she hit him the first time. It hurt, but not bad enough. He grabbed her other wrist tightly, lighter than he had yesterday.

"Actually, I am bitter." He said simply. "No one does to me what you did yesterday. And to tell you the truth, you're gonna regret it. You see, your life is going to become living hell." Draco said simply, grinning. "I mean, you do want me. You're just denying it, red. You'll learn soon enough."

Draco let go of her, pushing her gently so she just hit the wall barely. Before walking off, back to the common room to plot some more.

Ginny struggled against him as he grabbed both of her wrists to prevent her from hitting him again. She was quite tempted to just kick him where it counts, but she was a little curious to see what he would say in response. What excuse did he possibly have to justify his actions? She gritted her teeth as he said he was going to make her life a living hell.

Ginny watched him walk away after he had shoved her into the wall. She glared after him. What did he know about Hell? She shook her head. He wasn't worth her time. Ron and Harry would go after hi as soon as they heard. Secrets weren't kept well in this school, and it was only a matter of time before they heard Malfoy's grand announcement during lunch that day.

The day no longer was happy for Ginny. She spent the rest of the afternoon in a foul mood as she attended her other classes. She was quite relieved when everything was done for the day and she could escape to the Gryffindor common room where Malfoy could not get to her. The stupid git. Ginny really didn't like him.

Draco was in a great mood the rest of the day. He had done a great job getting to the little brat and now he could focus on the other task at hand. At least for the day. He hadn't felt so proud of himself in awhile, and had been quite confused with what to do. He took a deep breath as he sat in the Slytherin common room, planning.

Finally, he decided what he needed to do. The blonde walked out of the common room, ignoring the calls for him from his so-called "friends." Friends? Ha! Only two people in that room were what he counted as friends. Blaise and Pansy. The others could go shag themselves for all he cared. Crabbe and Goyle were just good bodyguards. The idiots came from a good family.

He found the room of requirements after hours of searching. Once he entered, he spent hours in there, trying to figure something out. After about three hours, he got an idea. He exited the room. The rest of the school was dark. He realized he had missed dinner and it was night. Any student caught wondering the halls got detention. Not like that bothered Draco, he was a Malfoy after all. Malfoys could get away with anything.

Ginny was in a terrible mood that night as Ron and Harry approached her. Ron had been quite purple in the face and Harry looked mostly hurt, but he still seethed with anger as they drilled he about why the school was talking about how she had slept with Draco Malfoy. Ginny was doing her best to convince them that it was just a stupid lie. She was extremely grateful when Hermione helped come to rescue.

After a while Ginny couldn't stand the looks she was receiving from her fellow Gryffindor's and decided to just head to bed. She ended up fallen asleep rather quickly, but she had nightmare tht woke her up in a cold sweat. As much as everyone had forgotten what she had done in her first year, Ginny couldn't forget and neither could her dreams. She hated having nightmares about Tom, especially when they seemed so real.

It was terribly late when Ginny decided she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep. She walked down to the common room, but she still felt like she was suffocating. She decided to walk around the castle for a short while in hopes of getting sleepy.

The last thing on Draco's mind had been the little brat. He had embarrassed her enough earlier. At least, for now. He had other things to worry about. The castle was quite chilly but he didn't let it get to him. Draco shivered and stood by one of the larger windows. The stars were shining quite bright.

Being from the Black family, at least half of him, he would be recognize constellations. After all, he was named after one. Most of the Black family was except for his mother. It mind was totally lost as he pointed out a few he knew. He tried to relax himself even though his mind seemed to be going hundreds of miles per hour.

No one would ever know how scared he was. His family name and his life rested on his ability to kill Dumbledore. Snape had previously talked to him, although Draco didn't pay much attention. He knew his mother had asked Snape for help, that's the only reason he cared. Draco knew this was something he had to do on his own, for himself.
