Name: Blake Hollins

Personality: At the age of 8, Blake was diagnosed with a very serious case of early Alzheimer's Disease. Blake forgot things almost instantly people informed him. Having to ask repeadedly what their name is and why they're in his room, makes most people shy away from Blake. Blake was also diagnosed with Triskaidekaphobia, the fear of the number 13. If people don't inform Blake soon enough on what's going on around him, he usually goes into a panic attack, throwing things, screaming, and hitting other people.

Reasons you are here: One day Blake was walking down the street with his father when his Alzheimer's made its first appearence in his life. He and his father were walking down the street with Blake turned and saw his father. Being as Blake had forgotten the man was his father, thought he had been abducted, so he ran, screaming, far away from his father. After a few hours, the police found Blake and returned him home, but after several cases of nearly the same incident, Blake's parents sent him to Safe Haven Mental Institution for Youth. Blake also has Triskaidekaphobia, and on his thirteenth birthday, broke into an uncontrollable fit, braking everything he could get his hands on. So the nurses at Safe Haven have made carefully sure that there are no clocks nor calenders in Blake's room.

Why isn't anyone posting?

I guess I could post again, I just thought someone might jump in and take care of the problem before I posted.

My character has to wait for BurningBridges to post before any interaction can happen, but I'm not sure why no one else is posting.

BaneSlayer, just in the future, try not to take it out of hand. It hasn't yet, but I just don't want hitting someone with a waterbottle to turn into chucking a chair at someone. I only didn't respond to your person because you hadn't been accepted yet.

Name : Travis Tharp
Age : 27
Worker or Patient : Worker - Mental Health Technician(staff)
Personality : Travis never grew up an ideal childhood, living in a household where his parents could of cared less if he was around and would of rather him not have been around. From the age of thirteen he found himself in a treatment center, something that to the present he relates to but of course rarely brings it up. From the time forward it was nothing but group homes and shelters for Travis, although he put himself through high school on his own, homeless and depending on no one - he worked several jobs and bounced around from friend to friend until he could afford his own residence, something he took pride in.

As Travis got older he felt the need to give back, taking a positing as a staff member, working with teens who reminded himself of him at their age. Still troubled in his alone time.

Reason you are here : Travis is here to try and make and impact on some of the teens lives, a caring staff member who will intervene when needed also. His hopes are that he can try and help at least one. Occasionally he will have to step back and look at the workers point of view before the residents. But all the more the reason for him to remain and continue his work.
