"Bitter foods?" Flick raised her gaze, light green eyes searching the dark haired boy's. Well it was an answer that she hadn't expected to say the least, which just intrigued her more. Writing down what he'd said, she chewed on the tip of her pen before looking up once more. However, at his question, she felt her eyes widen and mouth drop open ever so slightly. A cold tingle ran down her spine as she thought of that... time, again. Shuddering to try and shake off the the uneasy feeling that swept over her, Flick went to answer.

She was actually going to tell the truth before something twisted inside of her stomach, something which was screaming at her. Lie! "N-no.. Never." The words came out somewhat mumbled and a little shaky sounding, but at least they were recognisable. Flick knew that she currently, probably looked a bit of a sight. The colour had drained from her face, her hands trembled. Obviously, news travelled fast in the school and obviously, this boy was more of a gossip than she'd originally taken him for. That's the only reason she could put behind his question, although, explaining the uneasy feeling he gave her might take longer to figure out.

"What kind of music do you like?" Flick asked the question to try and divert the attention away from his own. The last thing she needed was a full blown conversation on the shooting.

Asher slid into the seat next to Jackie, putting his arm over the back of her chair so casually that one might think they'd known each other for years rather than mere minutes. He grinned at her, a lazily triumphant, almost bored expression, as she greeted him with a playful insult. "So you admit it; I am badass and sexy," he shot back, pulling his free hand absently through his golden hair.

He couldn't help but rolled his eyes at her question. He had had enough experience with the female sex to know that when a girl asked a question with such an obvious answer, it meant one of two things; either they weren't quite sure what to say in his handsome, ever-so-striking presence, or they just needed an excuse to talk to him. What's the homework? Do you have a pencil? Or, in this case, did the teacher partner you with me? The boy almost clucked in his disappointment. Clearly, this Jackie was no different than the rest of them.

“No, I just decided to waltz into this class and harass you some more,” Asher finally replied, his words coated with sarcasm. He was about to say more, but Mrs. Young’s shrill voice cut through the classroom. Mild surprise flashed across his expression, before he reverted back to his standard I’m-amazing-and-I-know-it smirk. Well, it appeared that he had no choice but to get to know this Jackie.

“Well, why don’t I go first?” He leaned over Jackie and ripped a sheet of paper from her notebook, took out a pen, and wrote her name on the top of the paper with surprisingly neat handwriting. Without waiting for a response, he continued with utmost seriousness, “What do you find attractive in a guy?”

He fixed her with his flinty blue gaze for a moment, before cracking a wily grin. “Asides from stunning blue eyes, messy blonde hair and a winning smile, of course.”
"I go to seek a Great Perhaps."

Shiki watched the girl as she questioned his answer. He nodded slightly to assure her that he was telling the truth. He was actually. He did like bitter foods rather than sweet things. Sweets just makes him cringe from the taste. He stared at the girl looking at her reaction as she seemed uncomfortable from the question. From this, Shiki could tell that this girl was the one who saw him murder a person. Murder using a gun, which was odd for him, but possible. He raised an eyebrow as a few mumbled words came out of the girl's mouth. He could tell what she said, and Shiki shook his head slightly. This wasn't going anywhere. He was about to say to forget about the question, but the girl had spoke before he could. He didn't quite like getting interrupted or cut off, but for the sake of what he had to do, he calmed down. He listened to the girl's quetsion, knowing immediately the girl was trying to divert his attention. Well, he could always figure out more. For now, he would take the bait and see how things go.

Shiki spoke in a slightly mocking tone,"Hmm, isn't it my turn? Well, I'll answer you question anyway." Shiki smiled slightly, a small smirk on his face. He was acting, but he did try to put some feeling into it so it would feel more real. Maybe this was how he was such a good actor. He placed an elbow on the table and faced the girl. "Music huh? What if I don't listen to music?" Shiki looked up at the ceiling then down again. He had played violin so long long time ago. He began to remember or his past, his eyes far away deep into the past. Scenes went past through Shiki's eyes, and for a moment, it seemed as if he was daydreaming or sleeping with his eyes opened. But he quickly snapped out of it and looked at the girl in the eye. He wasn't sure if the girl noticed his moment of flashback, but it didn't matter anyway. "If I had to answer, I would say classical perhaps?" Shiki started to twirl his pencil again. "Now, this time, you have to answer. And since you went twice in a row, I get to go twice. Alright?" Before the girl could answer, Shiki spoke again in his clear normal voice he used outside, "Number one, what is your favorite color. Number two, what do you prefer. Coffee or tea?" Shiki decided it was better off starting out easy. He can get close to the girl slowly and slowly, then he could finish things up. The plan was perfect and nothing should go wrong, or at least that was what he thought...

Flick felt herself blush slightly. She'd let herself get muddled trying to divert his attention and obviously he seemed to have noticed. How stupid was she? That bad feeling was still residing in the pit of her stomach and she tried to ignore the smirk on his face. There was something now, that looked almost familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it. She studied his face, taking in the red eyes and pale complexion once more. And, just as she was about to grab the answer out of thin air, it was whisked away from her again as he spoke.

"You don't listen to music?" She asked, trying to keep her voice steady. Flick was honestly starting to regret picking this boy as a partner, although funnily enough there was still something very intriging about him. She found herself scared to find out more about him, but wanting to at the same time. Felicity didn't actually notice his quietness, because she was lost in her own thoughts, her own internal battle of what to do.

When he spoke again, she glanced upwards, completely suprised that he liked classical music. She'd expected his answer to be rock, heavy metal or something along those lines. Scribbling down his answer, she chewed on her pen thoughtfully for a minute before catching his gaze once more. At his question, she nodded in response before taking a second to think about her answers.
"Probably brown.. And tea, definately." She smiled as she told him the last part, having always had a soft spot for a good cup of tea.
"My turn?" Flick asked, pen poised to write. "Why do you like classical music?"

When the guy slid into the seat next to her, casually slipping his arm behind her shoulder, Jackie stiffened slightly at the mere action. Cocky much? Oh god, she didn't admit anything. The very sound of his voice was beginning to grow irritating the more he spoke. There is so much narcissism the girl could take, including her own. When she had asked him that question whether the teacher assigned him to her, in truth she just wanted to know if Mrs. Young very clearly noticed Jackie's partnerless presence. She hoped not, but it turned against her.

“No, I just decided to waltz into this class and harass you some more,”

"--Right, state the obvious why don't ya'," Jackie murmured before Mrs. Young began bellowing directions across the classroom. Ah, sarcasm, what a lovely aspect of a person. Once the directions were stated, he turned to Jackie and quickly went on with the activity.

“Well, why don’t I go first?”

Jackie was about to say something in retort to him going first but when he leaned over, she was greeted with his cologne, and the girl couldn't help but smirk to herself at the way his scent was making her react. She didn't watch him write, she watched his features, strictly studying them.

“What do you find attractive in a guy?” He had asked this to mess with her, hadn't he? Jackie chuckled while settling her elbow on the desk and leaning her cheek in her palm.

“Asides from stunning blue eyes, messy blond hair and a winning smile, of course.” He added quickly.

"Tsk," Jackie snapped her fingers in feigned disappointment, "I was just about to say that," A grin danced over her lips and she continued, "Courage, strength, compassion, loyalty, romance, humor, athleticism; I can go on forever," She continued on with the truth, then readied her pen to the paper and turned to ask him.

"And what about you? I mean, attractive in a girl that is?"

Shiki stared at the girl as she chewed her pencil and answered his questions. He quickly wrote the answer down in neat, beautiful script kind of format. He didn't bother to ask or wonder why the girl's answers were the way they were. He raised his head to look at the girl once again as the girl asked him a question. Why he liked classical huh. He had sort of picked it at random, not really caring much about music. Now he had to give a reason. However, his face stayed straight, not showing any kind of discomfort or panic. The first reason he could think of, he spoke it. And without meaning to, he spoke partly truth. "You see, I use to play violin a long time ago. I especially liked playing classical music." Shiki raised his eyebrows to see if the girl had any more questions on this matter or comments. He had loved the sound of the violin a long time ago, how the bow slides across the strings of the violin. How his sister would smile beautifully and happily. He had loved the sister that listened him to play the violin. Now, he didn't play anymore. Not anymore. No need to.

Shiki spoke again, since it was his turn to ask a question. "My turn. What is your favorite season. Winter, autumn, summer, or spring?" He twirled his pencil pondering about the question he just asked. For him, it would probably have been spring. When it is spring, flowers start blooming and animals come out of their hibernating place. It is a warm and beautiful season. Now, it didn't quite matter to him. Not much mattered to him anymore. Except for the safety of his sister. He twirled his pencil, waiting for the girl's answer. Today is such a long day.
