This is like 500 years after Goku and everyone so as far as everyone is aware the saiyans no longer exist. It is in the dragonball universe but everything is like reality now.

Extra: Raised up as an ophan, Shadow didnt know who his parents were or anything of his saiyan blood until he lost control of his strength after he saw his ophan house burn to the ground with all his "friends" inside. This started when a few of the locals who looked down on the ophans wanted to scare them but it went to far. He then went on to find the locals and killed them one by one. After this he calmed himself down and locked himself away for 20 ways training himself to become even more powerful.

Now 10 years later he frees himself to this brand new world where everything has changed. Free to do what ever he wants and no one knows who he is.

Extra: Enigma gives off the impression of being a loner, which he is. Raised as a young child secluded from society and not seeing his parents very much caused Enigma to start hating the world. Of course his parents came to admit that he is not their biological son and that they were given Enigma as a baby. This is when he first learned about his saiyan nature as, in his rage his super saiyan transformation occured. He later came to control this power as he wanders the world looking for answers about his life.
