Drizzt Vs Xavier ( )

Postby Xavier on Thu Mar 17, 2011 11:33 pm

This is just the place one of my friends and I are going to have for a little free form roleplay fight. He wants to get into it, so I'm testing him out.

A dark skinned elf in a dark cloak is walking down an alley way , he can since the presence of a strong being nearby. As he feels the strength of this being he hurries to the corner of an open field and waits for the being to come his way.

(Don't worry, we'll work on your detail and posting.)

A young, and timid boy strolled through the alley behind the man with the darker skin, wanting to fight and attack the man but a little unsure of what the outcome would be. Long before the warrior of today was created, the one who had come to be known and feared through the land there was a child who he had started out as. The child had bright red hair, a white robe and a rather small sword, a blade by the name of Ragnarok. The man seemed to notice him, and with a slight twitch Xavier quickly grabbed his sword, but did not take it out.

As the young boy arrived, the dark elf known as Drizzt felt the power emitting from the child and caught him reaching for his blade. Drizzt takes this all in and asks the boy in a low tone "do plan to use that sword boy?" As he says this he pulls his cloak back and reveals his black elven armor and elven made scimitars.

The grip he had on the blade tightened up, a visible strain able to be heard upon the metal as it was put through this great force. It was obvious that the boy was frightened, that he was unsure exactly what he was supposed to do right here. As he spoke to the man he had followed, his voice was a little shakey, but held strength none the less. "Only if you put me in a position where I have too."

Drizzt noticing the strain on the child's blade says "well what do you say we have a match, just you and me, i will even go easy on you if you would like" as he finishes his sentence Drizzt begins to chuckle and draws his blades, the scimitar in his left hand inscribed with the name "Twinkle" and the scimitar in his right hand the name "Icing death".

The boys muscles all seemed to seize up at one moment, his body lowering to the ground while his legs pushed down on the ground, as the sword was held out to the boys side. Upon the blade ran several different symbols, words or phrases depicted with Greek lettering, and as his hand closed upon it even more it became alight with a red flame. Now as he slashed across the air infront of him, a crescent ark of Dread Energy screaming towards the man.

As the flames came at Drizzt he crouched and propelled himself 15 feet into the air, as Drizzt reaches the peak of his jump he puts his blades into an "X" formation and chants ancient elven words under his breath. As he finishes these words, his blade 'twinkle' is instantly covered in flames and as "twinkle" is catching fire "icing death" is covered in lightning but not ordinary lightning, it is the lightning of the dark elf, an ancient form of lightning only known to those entrusted with the knowledge.

As the man launched himself into the air, Xavier wasted not a second to create an attack that would stop the dark elf in his tracks, and he knew very well it could. As the blade wound itself around his back, due to how hard it was swung, it was brought around in a circle at his left side, swinging so that when it was at its peak, it would almost be like an underhanded throw. For as it reached its peak, Xavier allowed it to slip free from his fingers, creating what seemed to be a very hectic and quick spin of the blade, that would have closed distance between the two of them in almost an instant, but it was not aimed for his body directly. For as it continued to spin it came alight in the same fire, tossing a multitude of fireballs in all directions, but no matter their direction they all found their way back to Xaviers palm, where they began to come into a single orb, the sword surely distracting the opponent by this point.

As the blade heads toward Drizzt, he uses his blades deflect the sword but he doesn't notice the orb in Xavier's palm until he lands. As Drizzt notices the orb he gives the orb a bewildered look and throws a hidden blade toward it.
