Join us, every Tuesday evening, for a stand alone Dungeons and Dragons adventure! They are held in our chat room, all you have to do is click on chat; then click on the drop down box and choose The_Wastelands. Everyone is encouraged to sign up, join in on the fun, or just come to watch! Don't know how to play but you want in on the fun? That's great, because I'll have characters ready for you to play; and I'm more than happy to teach you how to play. As a matter of fact, every session we hold will focus on teaching players how to better play the game, and their characters.

Our next session is being held tonight (March 31st). Preparations for the game begin at 4pm Eastern Standard time. The actual adventure is expected to start at 5pm Eastern standard time. The change is an hour earlier than last week since our adventure went well on into the night. I have five players signed up for the adventure already, so that means only one or two more can be slipped into the game! The first of you to make it in prepared are the first to get in on the action!

Information about the adventure that you need to know:
  • Objective: Handling Encounters
Every encounter provides your character with some sort of choice, to be combative, or diplomatic. This is especially true in fourth edition. This adventure is geared toward choices, every choice you make leads you further down a harder or easier path. You could choose to be combative, and simply submit the enemy; or kill them. You could choose to be diplomatic and try to be friendly, or try to scare them.
  • Adventure for Six to Seven Level 2 characters
If you have time to make your characters, great! Here are the rules that apply to making them:
*We are using the standard array, this means your base stats are; 16,14,13,12,11,10. You can rearrange those as you need but you may not change those base numbers. The only reason those numbers should change is if your character race requires it (Most do).
*I highly recommend using Pathguy's 4th Edition Character Generator. It allows you to fully create your character, from head to toe; without worrying too much about the math (It does it for you).
*You MUST Private Message me your character information. I don't need history or biography because this is for stand alone adventures. If you used Pathguy's 4th Edition Character Generator all you have to do is copy & paste the information it gives you; to me. Then I can double check it and make sure everything is right.
  • Don't have a character or don't know how to make one? That's fine! However I only have one made, since we have five other people ready and roarin' to go! If you wish to use it, send me a private message! Click here to see what they are, and their information.
  • You should have a character notebook or journal ready. It's always a major help if you take down notes as you see or notice certain things. Since we are doing this over a chat, I'd recommend opening up a word processor and just copying & pasting what you think may be important for your character.
  • This is an Urban Adventure, revolving around airships. Make sure your equipment list is revised to focus around such a thing. Your characters will just be arriving to the city, via airship, at the beginning of this adventure. Proper identification is REQUIRED to make entrance into the Upper docks. So it will be assumed that you all have such a thing. Do not worry, it weighs nothing, it is just simple paperwork.
Our next Adventure Synopsis

Steam flows around the lower docks of Havenmire Port. It's clear the local trash is out and about on this particular night. The faint clicking and whirring of airships hovering and being docked for the evening fill the air. The magic powered engines hum lightly, and the Ether Strand cranes work the last of the cargo hauls of the night.

"HELP!" The sound of a young woman cuts into the night. Two tall figures slam her around in a smaller alley way. Unfortunate for them the Guards were out on patrol. So were the townspeople. It was within moments that they were captured and brought to justice. You see, in Havenmire Port, everyone is on the look out.
Sundown to sunrise worlds spin above our heads, and all we see are the faint flicker of light that provides them life from times long past.

I liked Tal enough to draw him, although mine looks like a scribbly compared to Roz's real art.

I'm not going to ink him; I am scared to death that I'd screw up the original, and it's the best thing I've EVER drawn. I'll color him in a few days. That sketch took me five hours, so I'm a little burned out on it right now.
