The man turned his head. "Kathy is it? I'm Dennis Von Ritchoven." After his rather short introduction, he nodded to her. "Excuse me, wait here for a bit. I need to settle something and I'll be right back." The russian officer quickly walked towards the engineer. "You're telling me," Dennis started, in an attempt to be calm. "That we're again building these, banned, illegal, infernal machines of blind destruction?" The engineer sighed, "Come now Captain, they're no-" Dennis shrugged. "Thats what they're good for. Thats the only thing they do."
The engineer nodded. "Well, yes. But we do have a good reason." Dennis looked skeptical. "Reasons." The engineer nodded quickly. "Yes, agents in Jupiter could not find the missing delegates, but did pick up highly restricted military information." Dennis nodded slowly, "What?" The engineer continued sadly. "The JAF seems to be having a massive resource gathering, it's not trade, they don't need this much for trade. I'm afraid they've gotten hold of the information of MS."
Dennis almost roared, then he silenced himself. "What?!" He exclaimed. The engineer looked at his expression. "Yeah, they're building them again. And they have well over a hundred." Dennis frowned. He now knew why Earth was once again modelling this foul machines. "And, our defenses?" The engineer shook his head.
"What defenses would stand against those new models?"
Dennis was silent. Mobile Suits played a major part in many wars.
"What does this place plan to do?"
"Strict orders Captain. They're rapidly building MS, but with limit technologies and resources now, our attempt to build MS that can actually surpass the Jupiter Prototypes is very bleak. We accomplished it, but odds are low."
Dennis shook his head. This was serious. "How many of those- things, are there?" The engineer pointed to a scientist who walked forward. "Our technologies instituitions have granted us 28 MS Types, 25 are similair types, like the old Zaku. Three are special prototype models with specific abilities and on top secret areas for construction process."
Dennis stared at the ground, the russian officer was oddly silent. "And I'm here because?"
The scientist and engineer looked at each other. "The specific models were planted in respectively Gemini, Scorpio, and the Moon Base. The twenty five others were built in important strategic capitals of Moscow, Sydney, Beijing, New York, and Tokyo. One of the models are here."
Dennis couldn't speak for a moment. "Fine. But we only use them when we're sure we're being attacked?" The scientist nodded.
"And my role in this is?" The scientist hesiatated. The engineer spoke up, "Twenty Eight skilled agents were selected, with no major roles, but talented. They will be trained in piloting these Gundam types. You...have been selected."
The russian officer scowled. "Which one?" The scientist shook his head. "Not the one here. It's for...that young lady out there." Dennis looked surprised. "Kathy?" The scientist nodded. "Kathy Takashiru, second in command of Gemini." The officer shook his head, "Good lord." The engineer took after this, "Two people here will be sent if they are willing to Earth facilities to pilot other suits. Surprisingly, one is a teacher. One, is a military, a police agent."
The scientist handed Dennis a piece of paper. The names of all the chosen pilots were on it, and their locations. Dennis hid it in his pocket. "And why do I know beforehand?" The staff gathered in front of him. "You will be trained here. Even though your suit's not ready. In fact, none of them are ready. But here's a picture."
Dennis stared at the picture, it showed a large model of some strange robot that resembled the Freedom, the famed model.
The name , "IGX-03-M. Angel" was printed on the front. "What the heck?" Dennis murmered. The specific information was written already. He stuffed that into his pocket as well.
"Starting today, you will be trained, and after training, sent to the Moon Base to see your...partner." The man shook his head. "Great." He coughed. "What of Mars? Jupiter will likely strike them first.", The engineer shook his head. "Whatever they do is not in our jurdistiction, but we will assist them. The mobile suits will be complete in a week or so. If all goes well."
Dennis took a stride toward a board with pictures. There was a basic model called "Clone" on the wall. "This is the one protecting the capitals?" The scientist nodded.
Dennis got an idea. "Can I see the prototype for Kathy? I want to know what one looks like." He was unable to hide his excitement anymore.
The scientist took Dennis to a huge hangar, a half completed Gundam was there. The cockpit, head, eye levels, strategy memory cards, limb construction, mostly everything was not complete. But it was still a sight to behold.
"Excuse me, We'll start tommorow, if thats okay with you." The scientist nodded. "Safe trip."

Dennis walked towards Kathy. He looked worried, but he hid it with his usual cool composure.
"Well, where do you suggest I go?" The officer asked, looking around the queer place to him.
