Demons walk the Earth. We'd never know it, they look just like you and me. They hold jobs, ranging from Governor to Thief. The only difference is, their outward appearance isn't their real one. They have a different skin tone, their teeth are sharper, and some even have horns. They wouldn't let you see that, unless of course, you find yourself as their mate.

Demons have a single mate, the one person that they are meant to be with for their entire long life. Some found themselves mated to other demons, most, but there were some that found the person meant for them to be a human, the weakest of all the creatures out there. It was a risk to be with a human, but there were demons that loved it, loved the frailty of their lovers, these were usually the males.

Four demons find themselves waiting on their passage back home, back to their own world. They are two brothers, their sister, and her mate. They are all different, something special about all of them. The most powerful of the four, one of the brothers, was also the most gentle of them all. He was tall and handsome, with a love of animals and people. His younger brother was just as tall and handsome, but he was a playboy, he loved trying every woman there was, tasting everyone he could. Their little sister was the strong, outspoken type. Amazingly beautiful, with an air about her that drew people in, sometimes to be kicked in the face with one of her smart comments. Her mate, or husband as he was in the human realm, was even taller than the brothers, and he was a hard looking man. He was a musician in the human world, well known, and he was harsh.

The two brothers end up finding their own mates, quite unexpectedly, just before they are supposed to be going back to their home. Now, they are trying to convince their true mates to come with them, while waiting for their master, a man who could destroy the world if he wished. Will it work?

Biography/Personality: Rosalie has always been the nicer type of person, she is friendly to most people but if they try anything that isn't friendly, she will try to defend herself in anyway possible. She has been mad before, the one time was a fist fight with her brother. It didn't end well, she ended up hurt and scared, running away from the danger of her Bipolar brother. Running away at sixteen gave her problems, one being that she had never got to finish her eleventh year at high school, and she has always been scared of her brother finding her. She has taken part time jobs to help pay for an apartment, and to get her mind off of her brother. When she turned seventeen she slowly started to forget her fear. Things only got better in her life. At nineteen she bought her self someone that would keep her company, she got a puppy. When she got to name the dog she had thought Angel was a good name, Angel as in her own guardian angel. Rosalie and Angel always have good times in the park, Rosalie thinking, and Angel running around with energy to burn.

Could you make the personality a little more smooth? It's kind of choppy as you read it. and, I know I'm knit picking lol, but it's either 'Is Bipolar or has Bipolar Disorder'.

No worries. I was trying to put all my ideas down in one, I hadn't had much sleep yesterday, about four hours of sleep.

Then I was typing that up so I didn't forget my ideas, because I am very forgetful of my ideas and plans.

Do you have any tips on how to make it smooth? I am a bit of a learner, it would also help in future role plays.

Go over your grammar a bit, and put it all in past tense. You don't have to go into detail about the fight, just mention it and say that she's afraid of her brother after that. Stuff like that. When you read it over if it sounds choppy to you, see what you can do to smooth it out.

I'd quite like to play one of the brothers if thats alright. If you're okay with that then I'll get working on a character sheet for one of them ASAP. The choice of which I'll leave up to you.

No preference, but a oh-so-sophisticated coin toss has chosen the younger of the two brothers. I'll edit the character sheet into this shortly, it shouldn't take me too long to do.

Appearance: Sharp, aqua-line features and a gentle tan, framed with medium-length, fresh-outta-bed hair comparable in colour to the sprawling beaches of Brazil it is obvious why so many people find themselves endeared to Jacen. His thin, athletic physique does little to deter interest, wanted or not; even with various scars that seem to remain on his body regardless of his shift in form. Most of these are cleverly disguised behind a myriad of tattoos that cover much of his torso and arms, most of which are graphic and detailed in nature. Besides these he a number of piercings; two in his left ear, along with a piercing through his eyebrow on the same side. He dresses casual, not unlike the humans of Brazil - a home away from home for Jacen.

As a demon Jacen is not remarkably different. His hair seems a richer, darker blonde and his tan seems to have a slightly bronze tinge to it. Three things give him away; his eyes, his tattoos and two pointed horns. His eyes change from their usual dull ocean green to a deep amber color not unlike the rich brown of tree sap. In demon form his tattoos remain, but are no longer sketched with ink. Instead they appear as a part of his skin, slightly raised from his skin.

Personality: Once as brash and impulsive as his younger brother, Jacen has long since matured beyond his traumatic and often violent past. In his own words, he has 'chilled' considerably. Now he cares more about people, places and enjoying life rather than fighting and bedding every chic he could. Still a little quiet and brooding, Jacen's sincerity is often lost in translation and the over-protectiveness he feels towards his younger sister often contradicts his truer persona.

Biography: Jacen had a traumatic past that he prefers not to speak about to anyone - particularly his young siblings, though if his tattoos truly reflect his story then it may be more harrowing than they would like to bare. By the time he found his siblings after being, well, what exactly no-one knows, but by the time he found them he was growing up. He wasn't old even then, maybe sixty years old - a child, really, particularly to human eyes. Even so, he tried his hardest to make up for time lost and carefully checked his behavior to becoming the protective archetype he figured they needed.
Now, much of his time is spent in relative seclusion. Most of the time in Brazil, where he unofficially lives but wherever their are big waves Jacen can be found surfing. Surfing calms him.

OOC: I shall edit it if details in his sisters/brothers profiles warrant it or if I decide on any minor changes, but for the most part less detail gives me a chance to keep some mystery. Out of curiosity, what exactly is your image of the demons - do they use magic, and whats like.. a brief view of their society.

They do have powers. Magic can be a form for one or another. They are very family oriented, take care of each other. While brothers and sisters are closer than others, they see their friends as family. The demons live in small communities, 20-30 grown demons in all. About five is the usual number of offspring to give them more chance of survival.

Going to Earth is an adventure for them, a way of finding out if they want to live in the demon realm or in the human world. Most go back home, but some stay on Earth. Is that good or do you want more?

That's fine. Realistic demon images are hard to find. If you can't find anything just do a description, but if you've found a nonrealistic picture go for it.
