Elder Scrolls V: Rise of the Ayleid

Winter’s cold grasp had reached Morrowind, the swamps slowly froze with the bark of trees. The citizens of Mourhold watched quietly from their city walls, preparing for the cold winter ahead. Guards patrolled the outside of the city walls, un-phased by the cold winds. A guard passed a low window and the light from his torch went into the cell, illuminating a young Argonian. The Argonian had red scales and a single large fin running down the middle of his head. He was clothed in the most disgusting clothing you could imagine. His shirt was spotted, his pants torn.

The funny thing about this Argonian, was why he was arrested. A master of illusion, the Silencer of Lucien Lachance caught? He rose to his feet and walked towards the bars of his cell, his dry hands wrapped around the bars. “Water, water!” He begged a nearby guard who only looked away and walked off. He was a murderer, why should he get water?

A letter landed on the desk in front of the guard captain. “What’s this?” He asked the messenger, “Letter from the Empress” The messenger said, running off. The Guard captain opened the letter and scanned through it, his eyes widened. “The Prisoners are to be set free… we have a job for them.” The captain said with a smirk.

“Captain of the Guard,
We write to you to ask that you send us your finest men, all of Tamriel is in great danger. The Ayleid’s threaten to return under new lead, that of Cyrodiil’s champion, Darktre has been possessed by evil and has risen a new
Ayleid army within the Shivering Isles. -Empress Evya Nighteye”

A new threat to Tamriel has risen, and you will be chosen to fight it…
The champion Crusader, the Champion of Cyrodiil, has been corrupted…
The Ayleid… Will rise.

OOC: Oh hell yes. Been looking for one of these for so long

Name: Arocius Praetorius
Age: 42
Gender: Male
Class: Knight
Race: Imperial

Bio: A member of the great Imperial Legion for over 20 years, Arocius was framed by his corrupt subordinates, after refusing to take a bribe from an important member of the Dark Brotherhood, instead choosing to arrest him. He has spent the past year in the Mournhold jail, wondering how 20 years of service could result in his Empire's betrayal of him.

Name: Sh-izam Bane

Race: Argonian

Class: Assasin

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown (he has forgotten when he was born)

Appeareance & Biography: A completely black Argonian with two red stripes on his face wearing a so-called Shrouded Armour. A member of the Dark Brotherhood, imprisoned for vandalising (although the real crime was the assasination of a noble, though he covered it up). Always talkes to himself in third person, yet he is not stupid nor schitzophrenic (he probably likes his name a lot).

Equipment: Plenty of slicing blades, two daggers and a steel bow ornamented in silver.

Other Info: He usually fights and assasinates with his bare hands, when not using his bow.
'Sh-izam' is not part of his name, it's a word he uses when he;
Gets hit
Instead of 'Oh my god' or 'What the fuck?'
A sporradical expression
A supportive word, e.g. 'damn' in 'Damn, that's good'
Tricking people with his name
Scaring people when hissing 'Sh-ii-zaaaam'
The name of his bow
When threatening someone, e.g. 'I swear' in 'I'll kill you, I swear'
Not always in this order
When snoring

Name: Velkner Lykke
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Race: Nord
Class: Warrior
Weapons(when available): Nordic Axe and sword

Description: He is a tall muscular man, with snow white hair, and green eyes. He has plenty of scars on his body and has lost his right eye.

Velkner paced his small cell, empty of all items since he had attacked the guards with them when ever they brought him food. they now cam with 5 guards just to keep him in line. He had been placed here for nothing, framed for something he had never done, so he took it out on the guards.

"Let me out of this cell" He shouted at the top of his voices as a guard walked past, but he got no reply. He was just ignored now.
Police cordoned off Liverpool City Centre this morning when a
suspicious object was discovered in a car. It later turned
out to be a tax disc.

He was to replace Lucian depending the report of who the traitor was from within the guild, Lucian was their favorite suspect. "Gaurds, I didn't do anything!" But I guess you changed her mind.
Well I should have known it wouldn't be all right,
But I can't live without her
So I won't even try...
And if I get drunk, then I'll pass out on the floor now baby.

Arocius sat in the corner of his cell, thinking about the merits of the Imperial Rehabilitation program, when the Argonian across the hall from him spoke.

"Guards, I didn't do anything!" It hissed, holding the bars, looking like a sad puppy.

"Keep your tongue between your teeth, Argonian." Arocius said in a monotone, his voice slightly raspy from misuse.

"Nothing's getting you out of here, save the Empress herself." He said, his whisper a foghorn, loud enough for the entire hall to hear.

Arocius chuckled at his own joke, why in the name of the Nine would anyone want criminals out of jail? He leant his head back against the wall of his cell, waiting to see if the young lizard would say anything.

Rel sighed, he walked over to his bed and sat himself down, this was worse than the Imperial City's prison, at least he got water there. "This is horrible..." Rel sighed, laying down on the bed to gaze at the ceiling, his mind starting to wander. He needed to get his sword back, it was a family heirloom and hard to replace.

Velkner felt the rage build up with in him again as the guard walked off giving him no acknowledgment, and with great force he hit his cell down causing it to vibrate and dust to float down from the ceiling. Stepping back he looked at his fist blood was coming out his knuckles, but it didn't matter to him, he just wanted out and if he had to bleed to do it, then so be it.

"Nothing's getting you out of here, save the Empress herself." came a voice from down the corridor

"So i have to get the empress to let me out, that cant be to hard can it" he thought to himself "Now to get out this cell"

Waking up in a cell is a scary thing...being naked and sorrounded by people doesn't do much more than increase paranoia. The nameless man rose his head off the ground, glancing at all the various people in the different cells. His ears and tail perked up as he retreated to a corner, and listening to what they were saying. His killing instinct said to just wait in the corner til you can fake death. Then the guards would come to check on him, and he would crack their necks. They wouldn't even know he was awake until it was to late....

Bane had been sitting quiet in his cell. No, infact, he had been hanging in the roof. No, he was no super-Argonian, the roof was actually quite sticky and climbable. It was fun to listen to the men in despair, chuckling aswell as roaring over their enprisoment. He had noticed someone, or something, prowling about the cells. But he didn't care.
"Bane curious", he whispered.

Name: Raelyn
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Class: Alchemist
Race: Bosmer ( Wood Elf )

Bio: Young even by human standards, so far Raelyn has dedicated her life to the study of alchemy and herbs mostly, though she is skilled in the other magic arts as well. Two years ago she left her homeland of Valenwood to further her studies in the great cities of Tamriel. Soon after reaching Mournhold she got into big trouble when a young Dunmer drank one of her colourful potions and died. She is now in jail awaiting trial. As any of her kin, Raelyn is skilled in the arts of marksmanship, stealth and acrobatics besides her extensive knowledge in magic. She would rather hide in the shadows that face conflict though.

Raelyn paced her cell impatiently. She considered it most unfair to be locked away like this when it wasn’t even her fault that the idiot had died. “What halfwit would even consider drinking a fluorescent potion! Even if it does smell wonderfully! Stupid Dunmer that don’t know to stay away from an alchemist’s cabinet! Poking around where they’re not supposed to!” she kept mumbling to herself, angry not only because of her predicament but also because she felt uncomfortable in this place of dead stone. She missed her home forests very much.

The nameless man left the darkness, sitting on the floor, shielding his privates from the cold. I need to get out of here for some food and clothes... He finally cooked up a plan to get out. He was going to fake sickness, and be sent to the med-room. I need to really look sick... He layed on the ground, and started to lick the floor til he became ill. "I think tha-*Hurlp*...ye*Hurlp* Someone hel-*HURLPPHurlp* Uhh*Hurlp* I need a docto-*Hurlp-Hurlp*" He couldn't stop puking, and eventually dry heaving, but it was pefect.

Bane jumped down from the roof and peeped at the commotion. 'What an idiot', he thought. The man was puking on the floor but no one was reacting. At least that's what Bane thought. He peered around and could hear, even though the noises from the puking man, someones muttering. He thought he could hear a sobbing woman aswell. He laughed a bit to himself.

Velkner returned to pacing his room, he had been here nearly a week and for what. He had been in the wrong place at the wrong time, how was he meant to know a bar fight would break out in that tavern.

In the end he got tired and sat down on the hard, cold, damp floor and thought of his family up in skyrim and how they were. He had come south into morrowind to find work, but instead he was in prison were the guards ignored him and the slop they called food would more likely kill him than keep him alive.

A noise reached his ears of someone throwing up, "I knew it" He thought to himself "the food is deadly" he started to laugh for the first time in a week a loud booming laugh, that echoed down the corridors.

The gaurd walked by the namless mans cell and smirked at him, "Go ahead..." The gaurd said, putting a key in every lock, "You're set free... by order of the Emporess, you are to meet her in the Province of Cyrodiil, Imperial City." The Gaurd captain said, turning the keys.

The man dusted himself off, and stood. He moved around the pile of his own vomit. He spit what was left of the bile in his mouth out. "Wha...What the Fuck do you mean I can just leave?...Why was I here in the first place...and where the first place?" He looked down at his genitals. "I don't suppose I could have my clothes back?...I mean I know why you had to take them away, but it is cold..."
