EmptyHands Vs. Hells ( )

Postby EmptyHands on Mon Feb 21, 2011 1:09 pm

Hopefully you are reading this! I decided since I can't PM you about it, I would just make a thread. Mid tier, from my understanding, means that the characters are above normal quality but not godlike. So our characters should be able to do things normally considered impossible but we are not all powerful beings. My character is fairly mid tier and from the looks of it, yours is low to mid tier as well. Since you dont know what HoR is, then we dont have to worry about it. It is just a way to keep record of our fights and I would prefer not to mess with it for this since it is my first fight with this character.

What would you like the setting to be?

Hmmm, Im not sure, Somewhere big and large but with some enclosed spaces. Perhaps A major city of sorts. New york, Toronto, Washington, etc, ect... in 2015 or 2014.. (Since my character's power is to manipulate electricity and all)

You should post your character here too, When we get a review for the finished fight :D

I am fine with a cityscape setting. You can go ahead and make the first post then unless you have other comments?

The flashing lights and cheers can be heard all over, even though the sun had decided to sleep, Las Vegas was just waking up as the infinite lineup of casino's were brought to life. A crowd of people gathered around watching the fireworks light up into the night sky, celebrating the new opening of "The Golden Dragon" , the casino to end all others that had started construction in the year 2000, it took 15 years to bring it to perfection and tonight was being unveiled for the very first time. Two helicopters can be seen pulling the large plastic sheet that had covered the building, a sight that deserved the "Ooos" and "Ahhhs" from the masses.

A twelve story Pagoda, a chinese design scheme so ancient that no one in Nevada know what it was. Upon the 9th-12th storys the scaley body of a golden dragon wrapped itself aroud the sides until it reached the rooftop, head up and jaw open letting out a large breath of fire. "The Golden Dragon" was now officially open for buisness as the large crowd stormed the front doors.

A shadow can be seen lurking through the alleys but only if you can squint your eyes. As hard as it was to see the image it was far easier to hear it, the clunck of each step it took seemed as if it was carrying metal from head to toe... oh but it was. As the shadow took it's step onto the street across the casino the man was now visible for all to see. Jack who can only be closely described as an enlisted man in the army, with an Mk-48 light machine gun he had carried in his hands, he casuallly walked into the grand casino observing his surroundings. A very large and spacious area spread with blackjack & poker tables, Slot machines, a vietnamese diner, and a round bar right in the middle of the floor.

The life in the casino seemed to freeze as everyone just stared at Jack making his way straight ahead to the bar, taking a seat on the stool, dropping his machine gun onto the counter. "Do you mind if I get a drink?" He asked a low tone voice. The bartender on duty jumped up as he was being spoken to, stuttering as he spoke back. "W-w-what d-do you want?" he asked fearfully. Jack flashed back a smile as he asked the question, responding in a loud voice mimickig a king with a british accent. "Bring me a Cosmo."

The silence was broken immeadiatly as the nearby drinkers started laughing Jack laughing along with them, the rest of the people that were watching the strange man lightly chuckled before continuing to waste their money away. Soon "The Golden Dragon." was buzzing with life again as Jack grabbed his pink drink and turned around to eye the front door. He took a small sip out of the pink Cosmopolitan, remembering why he was there. He had to search for a target and eliminate him. He took out a picture of the man with his free hand as he held the cosmo, looking around for him. Doesn't seem he's here yet... Jack thought to himself keeping his eyes focused on the front door, taking another sip from the frilly pink drink.

A city of lights and entertainment otherwise known as the city that never sleeps. The activity in such a place is nauseating yet the lights here attract people like flies. Uso was not attracted to the glamour of this place yet he was here. Walking carefully down crowd infested street, Uso managed to blend in fairly easily. He had his hood up and over his head, his arms were bronze from either a deep tan or rough dirt. It was difficult to say where this miserable looking man had came from.

Despite not liking the city, Uso was here for a reason and had a destination. "The Golden Dragon" flashed its name triumphantly on the opposite side of the street, luring in customers to its grand design. Uso admired it for a moment before attempting to cross. It was unbelievable how inconsiderate the people of this city were. People pushed and shoved, and cars honked and screeched their brakes. If it were up to Uso, he would disable this whole town for a day just to see them learn what it was like to live without all this.

Uso glided into the casino, his eyes darting from place to place to absorb his surroundings. Immediately to his right were hundreds of slot machines, the welcoming gamble tool used by all casinos. Uso did not understand the concept of gambling. The risk of using your own possession to gain more when the odds did not go in your favor. Gambling as a profession was much different and could be practical but gambling for fun just gave Uso one more reason to disapprove of these people.

To his left was the bar and lobby where people conjugated, laughing with drinks in their hands. One casino employee took interest in Uso's creeping form and approached him. The oriental man stole a quick nervous glance behind him and spoke in a low tone,

"Welcome Mr. Asduida. Give me just a moment and I will check on your room. Please... wait here."

The employee and Uso's contact paused for a moment to confirm that Uso was not going to go anywhere, but Uso could see a spark of something different in the man's eyes. Uso's arm shot out and gripped the employee's shoulder to turn him around. He came in close and whispered,

"You are different. What has changed?"

If you haven't had a cosmopolitan get out and get one. In Las Vegas that was the mantra that echoed throughout the man in military armor though if he truly wanted to have drinks all night he would gamble too. No, this was not his buisness. Some really important people wants to see this guy dead and are paying a large amount of money for his death. 80 million dollars.

In essence Jack, fresh off the army didn't have one. The plan was juicy and simple. The Target would walk in unbeknownst to his death and BAM! A few shots to the head and he's gone. Get paid very handsomely and happily ever after.

Yet even that plan was not completed, for the target had just walked in. Jack silently put his sipped Cosmopolitan on the counter, sliding his Mk-48 machine gun over a little bit with his free hand, still looking at the picture he held in his right hand.

Us-Usoy- Well however I say your name target, you're gonna die.

Wait a second... what's that guy doing? He just looked behind at me! He's gonna rat me out! I'll just have to beat him to it!

Jack stood up from his stool and hopped over the bar grabbing his machine gun in a fluent movement and settled it right on the wood stained bar counter, iron sights right on Uso instantly letting 10 bullets. Each bullet sounded a small explosion let off a strong recoil but Jack shouldered the weapon well for good accuracy, a grin escaping the army man's face.

Uso, it was nice not knowing you.
