Humans now having colonies on the other planets in their system seek to stretch their hold, to expand their knowledge of the other worlds and galaxies, but their search for knowledge has led to a great battle which they must now fight to the end..

The Merion a race similar to humans but having a snake like appearance thin scales cover their body, a highly religious race they believe humans to the ancient destroyers and will stop at nothing to kill their race..they place to do this fighting with the power of their goddess who has granted them the ability to control the elements.

Humans only having their technology have built massive warships and special weapons called Battle Suites, these suits grant the human wearer the ability to fight the Merion by using energy from the elements.

though this does not appear to be enough as the Merion push into the Eden system, already taking the planet Hiryuu, they killed the people there and burned the planet of life, after this event the United Military Force attempt to push the Merion Back, but the Merion are too strong even with the battle suits the humans are loosing as entire fleets go to their deaths still fighting for survival.

Though all hope is not lost as the Imperial class battleship Ryugen sets sail from the planet Tyr in the Valhalla system, its journey is to the Star of the Unnamed God, where the final hope of Humans rest.

The Merion: an Alien race who although share Human traits such, they are bald creatures who have scales that run the length of their bodies, many have tails as well, they have slit type eyes and use their ships as a focus point for their elemental attacks, they live in colonies similar to ants where a queen gives birth to the new generation, the hatch from eggs and are taken care of by a female Merion until they have matured enough to fight. though it is a good note on Female Merions can use the goddess ability to attack with the elements.

The Unnamed god: this is a gold star though to be a god by the first settlers of the Valhalla system, however it is now known that it is a planet, it has also been recorded that bright flashes have occurred quite frequently since the Merion attacks, Powerful ammounts of energy is known to rain down from the planet and give life to dead ones or kill living planets this energy rain is a event known as the Tears of God.

Aeons: Warrior Spirits, they serve the Imperial family, and are called upon in times of war, they each have their own traits and powers, though they choose who they serve and enter into contract with that member.

Setting out on its long journey The Ryugen now one month out, sails toward the Unnamed God to seek a way to aide the UMF, however as they were taking off from the port in Tyr the Merion attacked and severally damaged the ship, and now three months later from the time they set off, the Star Drive has yet to be fully repaired as they float toward the Planet Mumen in the Corium galaxy.

Within the Ryugen many of the crew rest after the much work done however Sunji sits fully awake looking over damage charts and the course plan.

Resting his head in his hands, he thinks to himself. 'How will we ever make it? the star drive is still another three months from being ready to use, and the Dark Matter cannon can't be fired without it, not only that but we have lost many battle suites...Ancestors please guide me... looking up once again he closed the reports screens and stood to stretch as Commander Berford walked slowly into the room, "Up late? you should rest and let the crew worry of this."

The prince simply looked to Berford" How can I rest? knowing that many live rest upon us?
Berford smiled and spoke softly "Have faith, many of the crew look to you as their leader."
The prince looked down " Why you are the commander, and my Father's adviser, I am just a child who is not even worthy of an Aeon."

Berford sat down on his chair "Do Aeon's make one strong? or is it their own will?"
the prince now confused looked to Berford."What do you mean?!"
Berford just smiled "Your still to young to understand, now please get some rest."
Sunji finaly giving up began to walk to the door" Very well,good night." as the prince left he walked past many who were now entering the bridge.

Celeste spotted the prince as she walked past him. He looked very troubled indeed. "I know it's not really my place to inquire, but is there something greatly troubling you, sir? It's tense being a leader for the first time, isn't it?" Celeste smiled sincerely as she looked at the trouled expression. "Dont worry, if it's about the faith of the crew, I would say they support you. Afterall, we're all millitary men and women. We're trained to take orders, and if someone is appointed to lead us, I'm certain this person has enough experience to lead us, regardless of how old or what birth they may be. So please don't worry, if that's what's bothering you." She gave him an encouraging pat on the shoulder, "If you'll excuse me, I need to turn this battle tactics report to the Commander." With that, she walked away.

Sunji smiled abit towards her and walked away, as Berford stood at his desk, over looking many of the battle screens, several crew members were speaking to him attempting to give their reports, but Berford simple stared at the screen, every now and then a glint of golden light flashed in the distance of the battle screen. "Celeste, I'll have your report." he seemed to grow more attentive to the screens.

"Sir, there has been an increasing amount of the Merion gathering in the neighbouring solar system to our current one. However, this has never known to have been their style or tactic before, so this gathering is somewhat out of the ordinary. Intelligence has reported that this cluster contains Merion groups from more than 1200 galaxies and systems away. It is most peculiar of the Merion, up to now, they've only attacked our forces whenever we were close to their territories, but now, it seems they plan on gathering together as one to attack us. I have a feeling they know something about what we are going to do, or their objective may be the same as ours." Celeste reported from her page, as was requested of her. "Our best course of action may be to ready our ship for battle. The enemy is in position to strike at us anytime they want, from the look of things."

Berford slowly sat down and sighed, " This ship is still under repairs from their previous attack at Tyr, Raise our battle status, I want all pilots who can to be ready, we'll take a defensive route, thankfully we still have shields so we may be able to slip by if not we make a hasty retreat.." Berford closed his eyes and leaned back a bit slowly opening his eyes and smiling a bit, " well Celeste I trust everything is well, finding your way around the Ryugen?"

In the back ground several just now waking men and women sat at their desks attempting to wake up, many overlooking things such as charts, supplies, personnel records, any task to make it seem as if they were working hard, though the ship had taken damage, and was still under repairs within the last few day many more crew members seemed to take a relaxed road.

Celeste smiled softly, and then straightened again and replied, "Yes sir, although it was a bit different from the previous ships I've served aboard, I've gotten used to the layout of the Ryugen now." Wiping the smile of her face, she got back to the main situation at hand. "Sir, I trust our shields to do their jobs, but should I have the Selene on standby in case the shields do not hold?"

Berford sat silent for a moment in thought," just until we pass out of this sector, hopefully we will sneak by and be able to make it to the star of the nameless God without trouble." at the moment he said this though, a crew member approached him, saluting the crew member spoke,"Sir we have sighted a Merion scout ship, though we have no confirmation of it knowing our location." Berford was stressed and clearly shown it, "have all pilots prepare for battle." he then turned to Celeste, "That would mean you too, but be careful we can't afford to loose anyone at this moment."

"Yes sir! Understood!" Celeste saluted and smiled brightly. If anything, Celste certainly took pride in helping on the field. She strode out of the command deck and proceeded to the bridge, where the Selene was waiting. She had to prepare for battle.

The intercom sounded off " All Pilots to stations, All Pilots to Stations." Several of the pilots rushed to their suites. Sunji sat ready in the Fenrir.

The battle alarm sounded as several orbs shot form the Ryugen soon forming the shield as the intercom once again sounded off "Approaching Merion ships raising battle status to full."

The alarms bellowed and the red signals flashed consistently. All units were returning to their battle stations and Devonshka was no exception.

"All Pilots to stations, All Pilots to Stations."

Wearing short silvery hair and a pair of cerulean blue orbs, Devonshka leaped into his battle suit.

This would the the first battle since his promotion to strategist in training. In training. Devonshka shook his head at the thought and continued to prepare himself mentally. How many enemy ships were there? What class were those enemy ships? Is the model in their database? Are the opponents this time elemental spread or elemental specific? What were their location? Were they without shelter in empty space? Were they flying through an asteroid belt? As a soldier he needed these critical information to survive. As a strategist, he needed them to decide the best course of action. His role is to find the enemy ship's engine and to snipe at its engine using the electromagnetic rail guns.

His current model can fire the projectile at 5000km/s, 300 rounds per minute. At close range the damage is phenomenal but in space where everything is counted by light years, whether it can retain its full effectiveness remains debatable. Regardless, Devonshka preferred them over their counterparts because it required no gunpowder and thus the ammunitions could be considerably smaller - efficient for ammunition storage - but still retain equivalent attack power. And to further increase its effectiveness, the weapon has, within it, both solid bullets for penetration and hollow tip bullets for radius damage.

Devonshka was ready.

Celeste hopped into Selene and began calibrating and adjusting the system for this battle. This time, Selene will mainly focus on defence and recovery of the other suits.

Celeste looked over the stats and other suites who would be launched to protect the Ryugen. 'hmmm...Fenrir, the Prince...and Devonshka? The strategist in training...' she thought for a moment, then turned on the multi-intercom. "Hello, this is the Selene and pilot Celeste. Can all pilots hear me clearly? Just a brief overview, the objective of this mission is to protect the Ryugen, so focus on defence, and leading the enemy's attention away from the Ryugen. I trust you both know the battle plan? I will be staying close to the ship, and once again as a reminder, I'll be in charge of on-field recovery, if anything dire happens, please send a distress signal. Good luck and let's do a good job, gentlemen." She transmitted to the other two pilots as their suits were sent out, hers following quickly after.

Following her usual course of action, Celeste took the initiative to scan the surrounding space. Nothing at the moment. On her radar, she could tell the Fenrir and Devonshka were keeping guard ahead. "Everything alright, gentlemen?" She paged to the both of them, just to make sure they haven't been murdered and had their suit taken over by Merions.

Sunji overlooked his systems carefully as always, he soon heard Celeste's message" I'm fine, just checking my systems, we'll draw fire from the Ryugen."

Sunji seeing the error with the dark matter thought to himself.'Without a fully operational Dark Matter Engine I'll have a hard time in this fight.'
the scanners erupted in sounds as the Merion ships approached, a a quick beam of fire came from the front ship. sunji soon came on the intercom.
" We Have three battle cruisers incoming along with two elementals.

Berford came on after sunji. "Don't waste your lives we just need to get away, don't get tangled in combat be ready to run at a moments notice!"

The Fenrir advanced drawing the Dark Matter Pistol, although all he used was his boosters and not his engine, as the Fenrir opened fired at the enemy several Merion Battle jets came from their hangar, their round designs made them harder to hit, and allowed more focus for their elemental attacks.

"We have three battle cruisers and two elementals incoming" Commnications informed from the Ryugen. 'Three battle cruisers and two elementals? This doesn't look too good, the Merion seem intent on bringing us down here.' Celeste thought as she blasted away and deflected blows aimed at the Ryugen.

'It's best to take down the elementals first, without them, the battle cruisers would be small fry to pick off.' She rationalized as a canon of a battle cruiser exploded.

She knew she was taking a risk, but if she managed to severely damage the elementals, it might discourage the battle cruisers into withdrawing. She looked around---perfect. One of the elementals were distracted by Sunji and the Fenrir. Carefully, she aimed her plasma canon at the elemental...there, square on the right shoulder....and fired.

the Plasma canon flashed by Sunji, as the Fenrir's alarms sounded, several error messages appearing on his battle screen.
"Now is not a good time for this!" the Elemental ship having taken too much damage soon erupted, the Fenrir too close to the attack turned on its Dark Matter engine, a burst coming from it back as the Fenrir entered a small black hole appearing next to another Elemental ship.

System Shutdown..
Dark Matter Engine.....Critical
All system shut down...

'There are no shadows and without the dark matter engine I'm stuck...' Sunji soon entered into his intercom, "Celeste, The Fenrir has entered shut down, I'm behind their lines, tell the troop to retreat to the Ryugen, I'll force activate my Dark Matter engine and take them all out."

"Understood"

The platform begun to shift just as Lieutenant Celeste briefed them in on the mission.

New Ojective: Protect Ryugen

The suit begun its transport past various rooms and then onto the launch pad. On either side, the lights began to lit up one after another signaling the launch sequence. Utilizing the same electromagnetic technology as his railguns, the pad thrust the suits out into the open space.

"Everything alright, gentlemen?"
"Quite so if we forget about the enemy crafts."
" I'm fine, just checking my systems, we'll draw fire from the Ryugen."
" We Have three battle cruisers incoming along with two elementals.
"Don't waste your lives we just need to get away, don't get tangled in combat be ready to run at a moments notice!"

The battle raged on and, already, the Lieutenant had taken care of one elemental. Yet in exchange, the prince was thrown into danger.

"Celeste, The Fenrir has entered shut down, I'm behind their lines, tell the troop to retreat to the Ryugen, I'll force activate my Dark Matter engine and take them all out."

Just then, bullets passed through and the elemental exploded. Devonshka was sniping from Ryugen with his rail guns. Fenrir was in the enemy territory. With his systems shut down, there's no way he can force the engine in the allocated time. Devonshka then came onto the intercom.

"Hurry."

Just how was Fenrir planning to force his engines? Creating a black hole would be suicide if he himself got caught.

"Lieutenant, order Ryugen and all the troops to keep open fire. Fenrir needs all the shadows he can get."

"Celeste, The Fenrir has entered shut down, I'm behind their lines, tell the troop to retreat to the Ryugen, I'll force activate my Dark Matter engine and take them all out."

The two messages transmitted clearly into the cockpit as Celeste continued to deflect the stray shots aimed at the Ryugen. "Alright." She replied quickly as she switched on the multi-intercom, "All troops withdraw to the Ryugen, but keep open fire. I repeat, keep open fire. Cover the Fenrir." She issued out to the troops, deflecting another shower of shots as the Merion continued to attack viciously, apparently spurred on by the retreat.

Sunji opened a console box near him and flipped several of the switches, as button on the control panel lit up. "Howl for me Fenrir..." outside the Fenrir glowed a dull blue, as a sort of howl erupted in what was once the silence of space, a black hole opening behind the Fenrir, dragging in the Mech along with several of the Merion ships before closing again only to have another one open where the previous one had been, the Fenrir appeared alone, its dark matter engine set it screaming toward the ryugen as it soon stopped in front of the Selene, Sunji's voice came on the intercom addressing all pilots "Everyone board the ryugen, I just had a look at their linese are only fighting a re-con force there is a armada behind them I'll use my ability to hide us for the time being.."

'A hidden armada!? They almost had us!' Celeste thought as Sunji's voice came through the intercom. Had the Merion's cloaking abilities inproved? 'Well, no choice but to withdraw. However, the Fenrir can't take this all alone, either.' Celeste sighed in frustration as she pondered what to do. FInally, she reached a decision.

"All troops board the Ryugen. I repeat, all troops board the Ryugen." Celeste said through the multi-intercom to all pilots. She switched to a second line, and paged to Sunji, "Your majesty, are you sure? I fear you and Fenrir...may not be able to make it out of this safely...I'll remain on field to provide recovery. Make a contract with me and Selene, so that we can activate the Protection ability. That way, you won't take any more damage. Please consider it."

"If I do that I can't cloak you, you'll become a target, besides its not me that matters you all need to get to the star of the Unnamed God." The dark matter engine of the Fenrir came to life once again, as a shadow passed over the Ryugen and mechs cloaking them with the power that Sunji had, the Fenrir however was clearly seen as Sunji's strained voice came over his active intercom, obviously he had never done something like this, a message soon came to the Selene not from the prince but the Fenrir itself, the wolf had sent a contract, not to protect itself but its pilot.

"If I do that I can't cloak you, you'll become a target, besides its not me that matters you all need to get to the star of the Unnamed God." Was heard through the intercom. Celeste knew the prince would try and push himself like this. She was about to reply when a message was transmitted. It was a contract sent by the Fenrir. 'From Fenrir? But hadn't the prince just....' Celeste was mstified at what she saw. She ran a quick scan through all her systems...nope, no hacks or bugs. So how...? Deciding that the chief importance was not the origin of this mail, but to protect the prince, Celeste accepted the contract.

She stored the contract onto a micro chip, and put it into the Recovery Core of the Selene. The orb glowed for a second, and the chip soon sunk in. The orb grew brighter, and white light gathered into the palm of the Selene. With careful aim, the ball of light was hurled at the Fenrir, which flew accordingly, slowing as it reached the Fenrir. Very slowly, it sank into its target, the warm light enveloping and healing its designated target.

'Contract committed.' the voice of the Selene confirmed to Celeste.
