Hello all,
I call myself Erlanis and it is one of the names I use rather frequently while online. This is my first time on an actual roleplaying forum but I have done plenty of roleplaying before this. I have been playing games like Dungeons and Dragons or Shadowrun with my friends for several years now. I am also an aspiring writer so I enjoy things like this as I see them as a chance to help myself improve and find new ideas. Who knows? Maybe I will read something you post and think of a way to adopt it into my writing, after I ask permission of course.
Anyway, I am looking forward to spending time here and roleplaying often, if anyone would like to suggest some role plays that I could join in and I would greatly appreciate it. My preferred type is fantasy, either mid or high, or futuristic role plays.
Quick note, I am not the type who posts once and then forgets the role play exists, I tend to check things rather obsessively after I become a part of them. In fact, I am probably going to check for replies to this topic in the ten minutes after I post it, despite knowing logically how unlikely it is that I will actually get a response.

Welcome aboard, Erlanis!
If you are looking for roleplays (and why wouldn't you be?), I can't think of any specific ones off hand, but skim the first couple pages of Interest Checks and Roleplayers Wanted. You'll find people advertising their souls there. See if anything or anyone catches your eye. On any given day, I can usually find at least 3 on the first page of either that I'd join if I wasn't already in games. Your mileage may vary, depending on how flexible you are with your interests.
There is also the Multiverse, which is a "persistent" world where pretty much everything can and will happen. It tends to attract those with the most roleplaying experience. I'm not actually suggesting it, unless you want a challenge. In which case, good luck.
