The clocks nearly hit midnight off skirts of the small downtown city, broken off around it was miles of brush land and forest grounds, hundreds of different creatures stirred in it and some were definitely not human. His name was Nathaniel, sitting there with his half-dead smile and weary eyes, reading a small novel depicting the lives of the creatures of the night - Vampires & Lycanthropes/Werewolves. He was always so fascinated in them but indeed he had a reason to because that fact was, they were real. Since he was a boy there were always two who seemed to find themselves in his path, a Vampire by the name of Marquis (Markus) and a Lycanthrope, Circe (Sir-Ss). What did they want from Nathaniel? They promised him protection, but along the way he was bruised and battered, along his stomach revealed dozens of bite - the price he took for what they gave him.
Now there in secrecy, his glasses set on his lap as Nathaniel drifted teasingly to sleep. Not long had passed as something ahead of him was darting in his direction, quickly running away, a woman. Nathaniel was startled up as he looked in front of him, a beautiful woman, wearing a long extravagant dress - which was now cut up greatly and nearly falling off of her. Several words blurted from her mouth but only two were clear, “Help me.” Nathaniel looked around without words, speechless because he had no idea of what he was going to do with her. Hide her here or back in his home which was a good distance away? Though close behind her several men where chasing her, to him he had no idea who they where but right now he was in rescue mood. He was still tired but he kindly stood up and took the girls hands, a smile passing his lips as he nodded to her and started off quickly in the opposite direction, the girl trying to hold on as her clothes still lingered downward on the verge of falling off.
Close to tripping dozens of times he made it back home to the safety of his apartment, gasping as he looked at the woman. Names were passed, “Thank you… I’m Shina…” Nathaniel grinned a bit, “Nathaniel…” Still huddling herself to together, Nathaniel pointed Shina to the bathroom. Removing most of her clothes besides her undergarments, on the other hand Nathaniel walked quietly to his room to rest, out of breath, tired. Though without his knowledge this Shina was always watching him, she needed to feed. Luck was maybe on his side for his kindness kept her from doing so, finding herself on his sofa that night she was fast asleep. Time passed before he found himself awake, Nathaniel walking into the living room and wrapping a blanket around her body without looking at her. That night the two rested well, and the next morning many more words were exchanged.
That day was long, Nathaniel going out and getting her a new change of clothes - which took forever since he never was good at that. The day passed quickly as she stayed, letting her rest and giving her a home and a roof, unable to kick her out because of how eerie she was. That night nightmares came, Marquis and Circe in his mind before he was awaken with his own screaming; surprisingly that night Shina slept with him those deadly hours, holding him, comforting him in promise that if he ever had a nightmare again he could go to her. So sweet, only a few nights passed as she would sneak out to feed and was always back in the grasps of his home.
Late at night he left himself, having to get away as he walked to a small teen chill-place, always quiet, the type of place where people said poetry aloud and snapped their fingers for an applause. Only a few knew of it and he was one of them. Needing silence he drew his heart out that night, drawing a vivid picture of the beautiful Shina who he just merely met. For some reason that strange girl wouldn't escape his mind; why was that? Now leaving, not in notice that Shina followed him there in secret to watch over him, but before he realized what happened Circe, with Marquis on his back, muddled in front of him, growling, asking for another hefty payment as they always did. Though surprisingly Shina appeared soon after he ran away, holding his life in tact. Back in his own bed, curled up, afraid. Shina soon returning to his door as he told her everything, Shina there listening as she stroked Nathan's hair affectionately. The cuts on his stomach and the cruel deeds he had been through in the past years where the main topic of discussion.
Scared still, Shina took him in to her own grounds, Nathaniel finding that Shina was actually a leader of a large group of Vampires and Lycanthropes, “Blood Rose.” Shina knowing that her clan was being destroyed and split apart by her father, who was indeed a powerful hybrid, Mexak. Being part Vampire and Lycanthrope. Having his own defying group, much more powerful than that of Shina’s, he had already killed her mother after her being a defying wench and now wanted Shina back - he wanted her blood to be spilled. Nathaniel in need of this information, after already learning so much from Shina, Circe and Marquis, he left to find Marquis and Circe, being taken captive to Mexak - Nathaniel already now being a Vampire. Shina, finding Nathaniel had gone, traveled to her father to indeed do the opposite and save Nathaniel. Her father agreed at first but found something even more fun and bit Nathaniel - leaving him to die. Mexak finding a little more fun of this gave Nathaniel his blood, changing him into a hybrid. Being both he ordered the beast that was Nathaniel to kill Shina, which inevitably failed greatly and Shina, with a little help from her now torn apart lover, stopped Mexak and killed him. Nearly a week passed with all these events unfolding, and the two had promised they would never leave each others side from this world to the next, time passed and the two prematurely made love countless times with their emotional strive for each other and to one another they were simply known as Nathan and Shin. Two lovers who equally shared the taste for one another’s blood on countless occasions.
Believing it was over more threats arise, that of Kenji, a Lycanthrope with a great fascination towards Shin. Coming to the large tower they lived in, in the forest, Shin promised Nathan she loved him and he watched curiously now, as a hybrid, watching how this went down. Kenji pushing his urges to Shin he grew angered and had a small brawl before Kenji took Shin. Flying out with anger his axes pointed towards Kenji, the tables were flipped as he hit Shin in the stomach - which recently happened to him in the fight with Mexak. Stopped, saddened, she was near death before brought and gave blood - she lived. A sadistic plot by Kenji, that night together, after she was healed but still in pain, she was taken from her own bed without an awakening arousal by Nathan. Waking up to her gone, he knew who did it after Julian and Rox, members of "Blood Rose" and dear friends told him they came here. There was only one explanation, she was kidnapped.
Going to town, Nathan was too late, Shin had been raped as well as changed into a hybrid like himself but sadly she couldn't control herself. Destroying Kenji and after taking resources, the warehouse was destroyed. Now having to battle his own lover, he refused to kill her and let her go. Becoming the new leader of "Blood Rose." Two years passed before somehow the new Shin appeared in his own grounds, though sadly he did not know it was her. Julian being the first to realize it was shocked, but Nathan being through so much, Julian was not sure if he could take it. Shin deciding to leave, she did so after she ordered Julian to tell Nathan that someone who looked like Shina was seen - just to see what he would say. Shocked Nathan acted on it, still broken about it he had to see: since that night she was gone he was always seen talking to himself and crying over her, but acting as if she was still here. By accident he found her, shocked, he left that night after seeing her, they both changed, and it was seen they where no longer alike. Shin finding him that night explained how she was taken into an underground, unknown fighting arena, uncontrolled and caged, she couldn't change back and was commanded to battle. Gaining power and tricking a guard she was free to find him - though still realized Nathan wasn't the same lover she remembered. Making up that night, not to add Shina was perfectly nude when she spoke with him, they returned home. Living together for a very long amount of time, always holding hands and sleeping with one another almost every night. Though now the world was ready to change forever... for the worse.

Weapons: For armed combat he is very good when it comes to Silver, Double-Edged Axes that are actually very small but very sharp and swift in the hands of a Hybrid - especially when transformed. In range attacks he carries 9mm pistols which he obtained when he first met Shin. They hold nearly 17 bullets and two magazines at any given time. Otherwise his hands are like steel and can break almost your jaw with enough force driving it.
