Year 2280. Scientists have been trying to create the ‘perfect human’ in laboratories all across the world. Over the years there have been several successes, these special humans free of illness, pain, weakness, etc. But of course with every success, there have been many, many failures. These ‘failures’ are what scientists refer to as malformed humans. They grew up with tainted DNA that has given them special abilities and powers. The abilities that these malformed humans were able to acquire scared many of the people on earth, labelled as a danger to the normal human population.

Every month a space shuttle takes newly found ‘malformed’ humans to Mars and leaves them there. Mars has been Earth’s waste planet for several years now, and currently has a large population of ‘malformed’ humans and beasts residing. The main collection of rejected science experiments live in domes on Mars with an artificial atmosphere to provide oxygen and heat. Some beasts on this planet have adapted to living outside, but it is rare that people venture out the domes seeing as how the temperature on Mars can reach well below -100 degrees F. Mars has turned to be a very difficult place to survive because of the lack of resources and collection of humans with dangerous powers. There are also smuggled weapons such as guns and swords that are illegal but owned anyway by the locals on Mars.

March Pick Up Day has rolled around, the space shuttle ready to board the most recent malformed humans to take them to Mars. This month there were six known faulty experiments of the human species. These six humans from all different parts of the globe were shipped to the shuttle’s location to be taken off planet Earth. Here is where our story begins...

“ShipX has arrived, passengers may begin boarding at this time,” a robotic female voice sounded over the intercom at the air station. A group of guards adorned in machine guns surrounded the group of six malformed humans, their job to make sure these mistakes boarded the shuttle to space. The group of six humans clustered together in a circle, handcuffed with special chains that disabled their abilities. Slowly but surely the guards managed to get all on board and locked the exits so they couldn’t escape.

“Exiles on board,” the main guard confirmed over his cell phone. Snapping it shut, he turned from the space shuttle and joined his men on ground. Within seconds ShipX rose from the ground with a thunder of power, zooming up and out of Earth. Those on board, still cuffed in their handcuffs, sat in their seats fear stricken. They were all strangers being taken away from everything they ever knew-- even if they didn’t know much after being raised in science labs their whole life. The adventure begins when all six meet on the ship to Mars.

Appearance: She has deep red hair that blows about madly when she gets excited, that covers her dark green eyes. She has a pretty face that often looks hard when she's working, prone to excitement she often had a huge grin on her face, this is even more prominent when she is fighting. She has a tall frame standing at 6 ft 7 which is not unusual for her kind (mutant rather than human). She is built out of willowy hard muscle and had great flexibility from her training.
Clothing: She loves bright colours and often goes for eye catching but hard wearing and breathable. Most of the time she sticks to baggy clothing that shows off her midriff which is almost always bare.
Ability: Can assimilate metal into her body, for instants the tattoo she bares has small metal plates that can connect to distribute a blow to that part of the body, spreading the pain.


PERSONALITY
She was once a lively and happy person, she had fallen in and out of love in the laboratory she had called home and was content there. Being brought up in the Organic facility it was unlike the other laboratories; in that testing of the blood and transfusions to make them right were very common but never involved anything unnatural. Instead, they were given chemicals that came straight from plants and animals that there hyper tuned bodies then used to their best. She was one of the battalion, trained in heavy artillery and was utterly proud of the idea of protecting the country. She is a proud loud and generally happy person, or she was at home. Now she is stern and dark, preferring violence and soft words to kindness and reason.

EQUIPMENT
Weapons: A sub-machine gun that is slung over her shoulder on a heavy shoulder leather strap. A small short sword on her hip that's tipped with silver to keep the cuts pure and clean.
Belongings: Junk clothing that is wrapped into her pack. At the bottom of her pack are three ammunition belts loaded with heavy calibre. A red silk tie that is worn and must touched. A sprig of thyme and rosemary that os dried and the only thing of her old world.

HISTORY
She was born rather rarely from a woman but not a mother, made in a test tube then implanted. The organics company wanted to see how they could make the perfect humans in the most human and organic way, so they had created 10 in their secret labs; 10 secrets from the government and the world. She had lived with great happiness, working hard and playing just the same; though social interaction was kept to a minimum with other occupants. She fell in love with her handler at the age of 15 and did her utmost in all her work to gain his trust and kindness. As soon as they realised her affections he was removed and she never saw him again. The loss caused her to become more reactive, outgoing and very loud, dressing more and more to be noticed than fit in.
At the age of 18 she took to secret self harm, wanting more than anything to get out of the cage she had become to realise she lived in. One night she brought out her hidden blade and cut it into her flesh, but rather than blood and freedom from her world the blade sank into her flesh never piercing but becoming a part of her. Over the next few weeks she resumed her hard working attitude, trying to gain the final marks that made her a perfect being. She would get her tattoo, show them that they could be made the way they were supposed to be and go out into the world. Before it came to the final day she implanted flat silver under her flesh, taking it from he labs and using it to protect herself; unfortunately it all went wrong, they needed to re touch one of her older marks. She remembered looking into the eyes of the man who had looked after her for 3 years, he had cared for her every need; horror and disdain was all he showed her. The very next day she was sent off to the government, showing their failings for fear of their monstrosity getting lose.
She sat on the spaceship, slowly sliding the metal through her flesh and watched her world as it left her' cold and alone.

Personality: Leon is a cool and collective person always taking in all stories and figuring it out from there. He is very laid back at all times, that is until its time for business, thats when the training he had in the past shines through.
History: Leon was one of the first super soldier attempts, before the scientists decided to try and create perfect beings. It was a success for the most part, he didn't tire, he was stronger, faster and all that jazz. He went through all training exercises and simulations, though the scientists never let him into real combat, all the diagnostics said that he would pull out in the end. When in a training simulation a machine malfunctioned and exploded into his body, though he came out unharmed. The scientists went back into the security cameras to see what happened. When the machine exploded the he took the full impact though he healed instantly, it would be a great thing to research, but they weren't looking for abnormalities like that, so they sent him on a trip to mars.

When he got to mars he set up a welcoming committee in a sense, for all the new people coming in would need guidance, and rules otherwise all hell would break out. So he helps newcomers adapt and also runs supply missions and such

Appearance (slight description and picture preferred): Cogs and bandages held together by energy. When he gets tired he falls quite literally apart. Usually the is a feeble boy of about 13 with pale skin and pale flaxen hair. His eyes are silver and grey eyes from the inner cogs and working.


PERSONALITY
A timid boy who doesn't talk much and is used by the other creatures of mars to deliver messages. He has no voice but when he opens his mouth the sound of grinding gears can be heard across the empty spaces. When he speaks into your mind his voice so quite touches your inner ears like smoke and wind, ever so slightly musical and bright. He is a gentle boy hating conflict or fighting he is often outcast by his brethren for such weaknesses. He is kind to the lesser creatures and spends happy hours conversing with there simple minds, calming them for use or giving them joy in a lifeless world. Timid to new people but trusts any kindness without thought. He is also mildly trained to do mild healing on the beast's bodies.

EQUIPMENT
Special Ability (unless you are just human): Has no flesh beneath his skin like casing, only cogs that spin weightlessly moving with his internal control. When he becomes stressed or under attack he unravels leaving nothing but bandages.

Personal Belongings: A sack bag for holding messages and small mars sourced food stuffs. He also carries spare parts such as cogs and bandages. A surgeon set.
Other: Silver scalpel set.

HISTORY
History (remember, malformed humans were raised in laboratories): Born to a pair of malformed humans on mars he was born in to the harsh cold world of mars. At the young age of 2 he was sold to the beasts for food and because he was an odd child, having never made a sound. He grew up silent, slowly growing into the powers he had been passed on from his parents. If it got to harsh outside or too much inside he would escape by leaving his body. One day however after he had stepped out from his cold body he could not get back. He was given the choice of passing on like a ghost or picking a spare body. He would not pass on, knowing he had more to give than silence and frailty; so he took up what he could find, constructing a body about himself. He picked up the odd gears and metal that he could find, wrapping his weightless spirit around it and covered it in cloth. Soon he could make the cloth feel like flesh and though he never learnt to talk he grew to be happy.
He couldn't feel the cold in his new form, so he was ideal as both a messenger and doctor for sever conditions making him unique in his tribe and therefore useful. He works closely between the mutants whose form he resembles and the beasts of the land with whom he lived; a go between in their merciless world. He prefers to spend time outside the domes by himself with the more simple minded creatures, finding them less complicated and more excepting.

okay some fun clarification to make things easy on you guysss in Mars :D

The six are on a self-piloted space shuttle to Mars. Once there, there are 'malformed' soldiers that kind of keep society in check. They will unlock the shuttle and free the six from their restraints once out of the ship and on Mars. These are good guys, not trying to harm, but keep peace/safety. The ship will go back to Earth; to make sure there are no specials trying to sneak back on the ship, it self scans and will detonate if anyone is found on board.
There are NO humans or perfect humans on Mars.

Inside the DOMES (which are connected by a tunnel system):
The domes reach about 60 feet high, and are 3 stories inside, plenty of room for expansion. There are only about three domes built so far, since the population of malformed humans living on Mars is still fairly low (population around 1,000 not including beasts).

A shuttle from Earth, two times a year, drops off food ingredients and raw materials on Mars. If it comes, it comes, if it doesn't than the humans on Earth don't really care; but when it has been missed, many of those living on Mars have suffered, starved.

Three story domes:
First Floor: Rooms of trade; people on Mars cook their own food, make own weapons and supplies; there are shops, tiny class rooms, common meeting area, etc;
Second Floor: For housing of the malformed humans; like the picture below, the rooms are tiny capsules in the wall; private, but as well in very close quarters with everyone

Third floor: Food is grown and harvested on the top floors of each dome.

There is trading outside; Beasts have become more civilized, though not welcome indoors, some are allowed in; but they trade with the malformed humans in the rough outdoors; Beasts have unique supplies and foods they somehow created, so it is worth it to lead trading parties out, but it is very dangerous to;

Currency:
Food is freely given, everyone does their part to sustain and work for food
Everyone is supplied with a room on the second floor to sleep in
Metal is the main form of currency, shaped in coins and other products. It is a highly prized material and low in stock, which makes it very valuable. People use it to build weapons, etc; the currency coins are used in vending machines and at special food shops and to buy weapons/supplies.


on other note, due to a recent post that has been removed, I thought I might touch on the styling of the posts. I like paragraph form, which Im sure all of you do. It is more detailed and focused not only just on conversation, but on the thoughts and feelings of your character. It is fair to everyone that we all put in effort to make the RP enjoyable to each of us. So keep up the fine posts guys, in paragraph form! ^_^
