"Close your eyes, picture a land of fire, of pain, of chaos.. The sky above has disappeared with the sun. The only light coming from the forever burning fire. Strange creatures run the streets, and yet people can only try to continue life of survival. The creatures do not fear anything, and they will charge at groups of people to kill only one. They come in different shapes and sizes. They are not immortal for mere bullets can kill them. The only difference between these creatures is how many bullets it takes to take one down. That is all before it came, its very presence strengthened all the creatures. They are more feared than myths of demons, werewolves, and vampires of the like. If these myths do exist, then they must fear the creatures as much as any normal human. With the appearance of such beasts.. of such a being.. I would not be surprised to meet one face to face.

It has long been since the earth has seen light from the sun, only hellish fires bring sight. The sun ended so quickly, like a light bulb that has lasted to long, it went out. With the sun's fall, they came. Creatures that could have come from different worlds, or possibly the darkest nightmare. The planet drifted off into the voids of space. Not even death's cold embrace would save the people from an eternity of punishment. The creatures required heat, but with the loss of the sun, they had to bring there own from the depths of which they came. These flames provide such dim light and the creatures were first attracted to electricity since it was the biggest heat source they found immediately. Therefore the power grid dropped around the world, factories closed, homes destroyed, and civilization in chaos.

Then a creature so great appeared in the sky as the defenseless Earth drifted by catching into its orbit. The size of it, no one could describe. For all that could be seen was one giant red eye gazing upon the world. It took command of the creatures, and made them disappear with it. At least that was until the transformation was complete, civilization just began to build, the population slowly renewing. Thirty years in that darkness, before that red eye opened again as if judging every soul. The creatures came back, even stronger. It all seemed like punishment to the world until the eye would look directly onto people, the person would appear in the center of the eye, showing every single living body on the Earth who was chosen. But those chosen see the eye empty, and do not understand what is happening. The truth? The eye is targeting people, making many creatures focus directly on them.

Why, one may ask.. The theory, it is testing some of humanity. For when its focus is a living person, they grow in power as well. Some grow faster, stronger, or even smarter. This is only a few examples of what could possibly happen while under the eye of this great creature."

Summary

You live on a apocalyptic world, the sun and moon have both been long destroyed. Now all that remains is a giant eye that watches all of humanity as powerful creatures run loose killing all they find. When targeted by the eye, people can see who it is by gazing into the eye. To be targeted by the eye, is to be tested amongst all of humanity. You will become much more powerful(which I will explain by the character sheet.) With the abilities gained, you will become head target for a lot of the creatures. A must remember is, there is no electricity, and jobs are closed forcing people to scavenge what the can find. The only source of light, and heat, are fires that came from the pits of hell along with the creatures.

-Creatures are stronger then a single person (unless under the gift.... sometimes..), get a group to take em down!

-Do not change who the eye is looking upon. I will be in control of this as well.
-It is not favoritism, everyone will have turns to be in the focus of the eye. *hint* usually it takes notice upon those who seem worthy to test.

-Additional-

I will actually not be taken part in this as a normal character to avoid some certain troubles if and when my character would be under the eye. I don't like complaints, and I will avoid them.

So instead, I will simply play as the eye, and the voice(which you will pretty much see in the IC) This is simply to help move things along, and so I have something to do. If I take a leave, then I shall designate who will control them for the time being.

Inner Power: When the eye gazes down on her she is able to change into her full dragon form
History: When hell opened and she was freed she was born into a world of ice and snow. She had been let out of a crack in the ocean floor and swam up threw a dark ocean to find herself at the northern most reach of the Earth. The first color she saw was white so white became her scales. She flew south and watched the once rulers of the world crumble into just shadows of their former glory. The humans where forced into hiding to avoid the beasts that had come from the center of the world. She felt pity for the humans and one day tried to save a small family that was being attacked by a pack of werewolves. In the fight her left eye was removed and cursed her to a demi-human body.

Sorry about being a little tight here but, well it could be worse.

@Corrupt- Have to say, saw the word dragon and was thinking no. But since you can only turn into a full dragon under the eye I actually like it quite a bit. The history is pretty interesting itself, how she was forced to a humanoid body. Just notice remember one thing. You will be vulnerable because remember, even if you are going to be a different race then human, you will have many difficulties killing the creatures, especially the bigger ones. So don't go off fighting multiple ones alone unless you have your power ^^'.

May have forgot to mention this, power only lasts as long as the eye is on your character.

Thanks for letting me in Kravos. Fayr is pretty much human when in her demi-human form so she will have the capabilites and strangthes of a normal girl when in this form so no worries! I'm not a newbie at rping so you don't have to worry about me over powering.

Best to be safe right? And just need to make sure, because in a few of the roleplays I have been in with multiple species, some are a little over exaggerated. Do like the build of your char though, managed to bend it into the story pretty well, and raised my hopes that this will take off.

I know the feeling when I first came here I desided to make my own rp rather then jump into one already made. I was stressing for a whole two days thinking no one would join and now I have almost to many characters! I hope that this takes off well because I really like the idea.

Quick question, does your Extra only take effect while in form? Don't quite see a reasoning to leave the gaze of the eye, or possibly how unless you left the planet itself.

Little bit of a crazy history, but I can see how one can be given a new life by coming from hell.

Same reminder as above, just don't go off trying to kill everything. And keep in mind, if you do fly around, there are creatures in the sky, so you won't be alone up there. Also, might not be in the summary, but these creatures do surpass normal demons because they have been empowered by the eye.

Angel, Demetry, I will allow you both to take flight without being in full form. Just be forewarned about creatures in the sky. Can't let free flight get off the hook so easily. ^^

May have not mentioned this somewhere up there, but I was debating also letting multiple people be under the gaze as well. One for the eye itself, and one for the voice. How do yall like the sound of that?

ok if I stiy in the gaze I and forced to stay in the form I pick so I have to leave the gaze to change from on to the other and ty but yea that thing where 2 ppl in the gaze at once sounds kool with me

Yea two people being under the gaze at the same time would make fights very interestin so that characters can play with there powers together if they are teamed up

Ah, that makes a bit more sense. Problem is don't quite see how you can leave the gaze, because it quite literally is only watching you. Even if you do manage, what stops it from looking at another? Just keeping the mind open. If we get a few more people I'll send the IC your way.

I think what Demetry means by 'leave the gaze' is that when the eye is no longer gazing on him that he reverts back to his normal form

Inner Power: Intense Savagery- When the eye hits Garruk he becomes insane with rage and begins to attack and charge all beings. The only being or way to calm the inner beast hidden with in is a sirens song, a song that lulls him to sleep untill the eye's powers release him of the effects.
History: Garruk was raised in the deepest jungle of Karenia, his parents raised him as a barbarian tracker. His father was a exiled warrior and fled his home in some unknown city (father never spoke of it). The mothers had followed her husband since she did not want to stay in a city her lover was banned from. These lovers traveled months before reaching Karenia Jungles, upon reaching the heart of the jungle in Karenia Garruk's mother gave birth to him. At a early age Garruk's father taught him how to fight and defend him self in battle, Garruk excelled in the use of fist weapons and the two handed axe.

When Garruk was of the age of sixteen his father began teaching him how to move about the jungle with out being seen or heard. His father played a huge role in his life. Garruk's father was a mentor and a friend to him, he was always willing to learn the ways of a warrior. The teachings of the forest continued until Garruk was the age of 26. Both his parents fell ill to some unknown disease he could not cure, he tried medicine and prayers but found no cure for their disease. His parents withered away and left Garruk alone in the world full of savages and beast. Garruk left his home and traveled for awhile, five years past as he was away from his home. Garruk had finally felt that five years away from home was to long to be away and traveled home. As garruk traveled home he encountered a demonic being of time and space and took up a wager with the beast. the bet was who could throw the furthest boulder down the road, of course garruk of immense strength took the challenge and threw a boulder the size of a teenager, the boulder went far but now it was the demons turn and like all demons he had cheated and won the wager. The demon using his powers of time and space send Garruk through time to when the sun and moon dissipated and all that gave light was this horrific eye. Garruk now stands alone in the darkness staring down a valley where nothing stirred.

Whew, was looking for where that little piece came in. Was pretty confused in the places since it's supposed to have the technology of today. DQ (....The demon using his powers of time and space send Garruk through time to when the sun and moon dissipated and all that gave light was this horrific eye..) And actually the eye is not producing much light at all, its the hellish fires that burn all around the world that provide the light. And as long as you know that the Inner Power halts as soon as the eye stops watching.

All in all it sounds like a good character to me, just keep in mind about the present day. Other then that.
