Dante smirked.
"Well we better get moving I'm late as it is." Dante said. She didn't like being late for anything and it showed in her personality. She shook her head as she waited for him to make the first move. If she learned anything it was never to make the first move on anything. Be it academics or house work though she detested doing house work. She was forced to now that her parents were gone even for a short amount of time but still her mother was gone which meant Dante had to take the house work up.

Unable to help but avert his eyes, Eli looked down at his worn shoes. When she spoke, he snapped his head back up to look at her. "Yeah." He agreed, feeling extremely stupid about this whole situation. She was smirking, probably enjoying watching him squirm. He wasn't quite sure what to do, and for a moment just stood there. With Haylee, everything came naturally-- he would have just held out his arm and she would have taken. But did he do the same for Dante? Deciding he might as well, Eli offered his arm with a small smile, hoping she would just take it and spare him any more embarrassment.

Dante rested her hand on his arm. Some secret part of her enjoyed watching him squirm and there was a part in the back of her head telling her it was wrong.
"Well off we go." Dante said. She wished she hadn't had to deal with her little squad's issues but being captain it was her job. She also had to make sure the whole squad was ready for the first game and the fact they had their uniforms all set up and given to the freshmen that had found on the squad and into Dante's little flunkies.

The 'Court' was quiet - everyone knew that if you spoke while either Dante or Dexter was speaking, you would be out of there faster than you could blink. And you wouldn't be coming back, either.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Dexter began, "we have an excellent opportunity to induct a new member today." Getting up from his chair, he crossed to where Haylee was, standing beside her. "This, my friends, is Haylee. Now, ladies - where are the lovely ladies?"

A group of girls, clustered over near the far wall, giggled as one and raised their hands. Dexter flashed them a trademark grin. "Ah, beautiful as always. Well, girls, I have good news for you - if Haylee's going to join us, she's going to need to look the part, isn't she? I'd like the -" he quickly took a head count. " - seven of you to give her the makeover of a lifetime. What do you say?"

"You're the boss," one of the girls called back, sending the rest of her friends off in gales of giggles again.

Dexter turned back to Haylee, crouching down in front of her. "Of course, the last word is up to you," he said, all seriousness. "Do you want this?"

Haylee turned bright red as Dexter started talking about her. Everyone was staring at her and she diddn't like this much attention. It was usual for her to get attention anyway, she just got used to being invisible. She was looking at the wall not wanting to look at anyone. But she looked at Dexter in suprise when he said she was joining them. What?? She was no way near popular and diddn't count on even attempting it. Was Dexter feeling ok? It must just be my imagination, Haylee thought shaking the thoughts out of her head. 'Yes, I do. But no offence, I don't want to change much. I bet the girls are fabulous and that but I'm just not ready for heaps of changing,' She whispered meekly.

"Right," Eli started making his way towards court. He knew where it was, but he hardly ever went there. There had never been a reason to before. As he walked, he felt himself glancing hesitantly at Dante every little while. He wasn't sure whether or not he should say something. But even if he did decide to talk, what would she and him be able to carry a conversation on about? So he just walked in silence, feeling more akward with each step.

He still couldn't shake out of his head the reactions that the two of them would get, arriving in court together. Dante Styles and Elijah Wirth, the queen of the school with some random nobody. And what if Haylee was in court as well? What would she think? But then again, she was very likely with Dexter, in which case she had no right to feel upset about him arriving with Dante. And if she wasn't there, he could probably slip out and continue his search.

Dante smiled as they strode toward court. She really needed to get going because she seemed to be late and she didn't like being late. Besides they were on a tight schedule because they had a little while left. Her phone was in her pocket and she didn't expect it to vibrate but when it did she was shocked. She fished the phone out of her pocket and flipped it open.
"Dante." Dante said. She listened for a few minutes before she heaved a sigh.
"I'm at school I can't come get him so you're going to have to keep him." Dante said.
"Don't argue with me." Dante said before she hung up the phone and stuffed it back into her pocket.

Dexter smiled at Haylee's response. There it was - the last confirmation, the step that took her past the point of no return. There was no going back now. "Don't worry," he said, just quietly enough for her to hear. "There's not much that can be done to make your face even prettier - all the girls will do is bring it out."

Getting to his feet, he nodded to the females in question. "All right, then. Ladies - you may begin." The gaggle of girls rushed forward, and he caught the leader by the arm. "No making her look hideous just because she's new," he hissed in her ear. "I want her here, and I have my own reasons for that - don't go scaring her off."

The girl nodded, and was released. She joined her friends who were, by now, clustered around Haylee, already at work. Dexter turned to his right-hand man, a boy with spiky brown hair named Tanner.

"Hey - you wanna find out what's keeping Dante? Queen shouldn't be late to her own court - I'm beginning to think she's ditching me."

Finally, after what seemed like a walk down endless, twisting hallways, they arrived at court. There were a bunch of girl huddled in one corner, all giggling and whispering among themselves. Eli scanned the entire place, unable to see Haylee anywhere. It was only when he was looking over the people at court to see if maybe he'd missed Haylee that he noticed some had stopped to look at him. Them. Him and Dante, arrived at court, and he felt heat rising to his cheeks.

If Haylee wasn't here, he might as well leave. He had escorted Dante there, and that's all he needed to do-- or at least, he hoped. "Um, I think I might go now." He told Dante, dropping his arm and grinning sheepishly.

"What is with the group over there?" Dante asked. She scanned the crowd.
"Stay for just a little while longer." Dante said.
"You never know whoever you're looking for might be here." Dante said as she glided away. She had managed to spot Dexter in the crowd.
"Sorry I'm late that squad can do nothing without me." Dante said. That phone call had bugged her but she was going to ignore it. Apparently her little brother and sister had ended up throwing up. The bad thing was that they were four and them being sick made her very worried but she'd ignore it for now.

"Hey, Dex - Dante's here, man."

Dexter looked up, smiling. "Awesome. Thanks, Tanner." Crossing the room to Dante - and subsequently Eli - he reached them just in time to hear her invitation for the boy to stay a bit longer.

Leaning over, he kissed Dante quickly on the cheek - still earning hoots and whistles from the surrounding crowd. Then he turned his smile on Eli. "Thanks for making sure she got here, man, I owe you one." The smile widened just a bit. "And she's right, you really should stick around. There's someone here you're gonna want to see, trust me."

"Hey, Dexter! I think she's ready!" One of the girls in the corner yelled out.

Everybody in the room turned to face the group. Dexter nodded. "All right, ladies. Let's see your work."

"Which she?" Dante asked. She was curious to who some of the girls in the room had been working on. She waved to some of the people that had waved to her. She wasn't look foreword to going home today. It would involve feeding medicine down two four year olds throats. Which doesn't work very well when they fight her every step of the way like they were going to. Dante had a game to go to today which meant they had to be full of medicine and left with the baby sitter again. This is why she disliked her parents for leaving her with her siblings.

Haylee was sitting on the floor as the girls started to attack her. Well by attack she meant help her bring out her features. As one of the girls put it. She wasn't sure of what she looked like and one of the girls had just told her to stand up. She stood up, the group still hiding her. One of the girls said she was ready the girls stepped away and revealed her to the group. She slightly blushed at all the attention and found her way over to where Dexter,Dante and Eli were standing. 'Hey Eli,' She gave him a small smile, and kissed him on the cheek. 'Thanks girls,' She gave a small smile to the girls standing in the corner.

"Ah those girls did a nice job." Dante said. Looking at Haylee distracted her from thoughts of the upcoming game and the fact her two youngest siblings had come down with being sick.
"I'm impressed she was already good looking but those girls brought it out." Dante said. Her eyes widened as she noticed her slip. She had started to act like she did around her parents. The nice girl...she was not a nice girl at school ever. She mad a reputation of being one of the hardest and cruelest sometimes. Today seemed to be her shift just a little anyway.

Dexter flashed a smile at Haylee. "See? What'd I tell you?"

Bracing one elbow on Dante's shoulder, he turned to Eli. "Well? What do you think, man?" Catching Haylee by the hand, he pulled her over to himself and Dante, letting go only to wrap one arm around her shoulders. "I said she'd look good, didn't I?"

He turned his head to Dante, muttering quietly, "Whatever happened, tell me once Court's over, all right? Get your game face on, love."

Dante nodded. She knew she needed to focus. She aimed some of her best glares at some of the girls who looked like they had been gossiping. She wouldn't tolerate gossip about her ever. Sure she spread it put she was never the focal point of gossip. Unless someone wanted to be the focal point of an even nastier piece of gossip and they all knew Dante wouldn't stop to spread it. The girls who had looked at her and that were whispering suddenly looked away. Dante smirked and let her gaze travel over the whole court.

Haylee looked up at the boy who was meant to be someone else’s boyfriend. He had wrapped one arm around her shoulder. Was she ruining the relation ship? Ohhh she hoped not. ‘Thanks, yeah I guess your right.’ She gave a shy but small smile. She immediately looked at the ground when he started to furiously whisper to Dante. She turned bright red, remembering that everyone was looking at her. She moved closer to Eli. ‘You like?’ She asked softly. Haylee hoped that he would like it and not hate Dexter for being nice to her.
