Enzeru got the point, and readied himself, keeping his sword steady. "Let us go then." He turned stopping suddenly, starring into the darkness.

(OOC: My bad, just thought to make it interesting.)

BIC: Wolf stared straight up, watching the clouds move across the sky. He still couldn't move from the pain, and the damned wolf inside him wasn't helping with its chatising.

"You moron, smart move letting yourself get smacked in the ribs."

"Shut up you beast."

"Stand down."

"Hell no!"

Wolf was getting progressively angry, and the rage reached his boiling point, he sat up, then switched to kneeling, the leapt up. He ignored the pain in his ribs, as he decided to move through the forest, the longer he was away, the more he could think. He didn't need people, only his instincts. He darted through the trees, crashing past the brush and weak limbs, not caring. He eventually tripped on a bear trap and his face hit the mossy Earth, his ankle trapped in the contraption.

He laid there, wondering:

"Why?"

Rhea furrowed her brows, somewhat annoyed at not being able to get a word into the conversation between Jade and Enzeru. But, alas, she puled on the reigns and surrendered to Jade's frantic orders.

"Hold the hell on!"

The carriage swerved dangerously, yet maintained it's balance as it turned and began speeding toward whatever it was they were running from. She cracked the reigns one last time and dropped them between her knees. She pressed her legs together, holding the reigns steady and began preparing her bow.

Once they arrived at the hulking creature's location, Jade launched herself out of the carriage, rolling to a stop and landing with both swords drawn, ready to fight.......a dead monster. She blinked, unsure what to do at this point. Then she shook her head, sheathing both swords in one fluid motion.
"This is most unusual," She stated, crossing her arms as she stared at the unmoving hulk. "Can't say I've seen a lot of beasties drop dead of their own accord.."
Bright green eyes drifted about, looking for a sign of the stubborn fool that had jumped from the carriage in the first place. She noted the trail that he had left, leading through the denser section of the woods, and she stomped off in that direction with an angry huff.
"I'll be back in a moment," She snapped out to her fellow travelers. She drew her plainer sword, using it to hack and slash her way through the foliage. So annoyed was she with Wolf's actions, she didn't even notice the faint glimmer that would have normally so fascinated her...stowed away, once more, the the remains of the unusual creature...
Moments and moments of shoving herself through the dense greeness, and she saw what appeared to be a lump of dark captured in a bear trap. Sheathing her sword, she crossed her arms and glared down at him, taking her sweet time in pitying his situation.
"You look mighty comfy, there, don't ye?"

Enzeru sighed, "Again I am left out of a battle. An angel of my magnitude can't take much more of this." He sheathes his sword and lands lightly on the ground, frowning.

Rhea could not help but let out a chuckle at the angle's complaints. She could relate to his disappointment. Her own hands yearned for some action, and the adrenaline buildup that had consumed her during the chase had been for not. The beast was dead, and her bow strung.

"Cheer up," she said, placing her arrow back into quiver. "At the rate this is going, we'll be faced with more peril soon. I've got to admit, I've never had such an eventful day. At least, not like this one."

Enzeru smiles slightly looking at Rhea, "I suppose. Jade does seem to attract trouble at every corner." He sighed slightly, it seemed as though he never will find his power, his ability to reign. Enzeru walked over to the wagon, folding his wings, and leaned against it. "I suppose we wait for her than."

Rhea shrugged her accordance. "Unless you've got something else to do..."

For the first time all day long, Rhea finally got a chance to look at Enzeru without having to worry about toppling buildings or evil creatures. She tilted her head to the side, curiosity falling upon her face. But the questions in her mind remained unspoken; Rhea wasn't sure if Enzeru would find it rude of her to start asking personal questions. She sighed and leaned back in her seat.

"You from around here?"

Enzeru smiled, "No, not close." He wonderd how he was to explain himself to a human, how to explain what he is. After a few moments of deliboration, he felt her gaze apon him still, he shrugged a decided to tell his story. "I'm from the....'heavens' or something of the like." He smiled at Rhea, despite his difficulty in definition. "Tis a long story, but simply put, I'm not even meant to exsist on this 'plane'"

"That's hardly 'putting it simply', my friend," Rhea said with a good-natured smile. "I'm from far away, too. Though, unlike you, I'm pretty sure I was supposed to walk upon this plane of existence."

She sat in silence for a little while, then resolved that she was indeed curious and that she was going to ask. "So, did you get banished from the heavens or something?"

Enzeru flinched slightly, "Y...yes, I was." He looked at Rhea, his eyes full of malice. "The great Archangel Micheal damned me here for punishment. I became....greedy." He lowerd his head, allowing his silver, flowing hair to cover his face. "And now I 'exist' in regret, trying to redeem my falses, and regain my power."

Wolf couldn't see much, especially his face mostly in the grass. All he knew was the familiar voice of the woman.

He muttered weakly: "Your good, I didn't expect anyone to find me" He coughed, then spoke again, finding his voice, "I feel extremely stupid...lost my temper again. Just help me out here, will ya?"

Jade scowled for a moment, then bent next to him, working both hands into the large trap. She strained for a moment, finally managing to wrench it open enough for him to pull his leg out.
"Move yer limb or lose it!" She snapped, arms shaking slightly as she held the trap open.

Wolf moved his leg out of the trap, positioning his body to keep the leg away from it.

"Thanks."

He then attempted to stand up on one leg, only to lose his balance and crash to the Earth. He grunted for a moment, looked down at his now blood-soaked leg, then passed out from blood loss.

Jade stared down at the collapsed man for a moment, then heaved an aggravated sigh and crouched next to him, tearing off one of her own sleeves to wrap up the leg. Grunting slightly, she pulled one of his arms around her shoulders, dragging him back towards the group. With each step, her irritation lessened slightly, a trick that she had developed years ago on the off chance that she was forced to spend time with other people. It was always easier to travel with company when you didn't feel the urge to gouge their eyes out.
As she approached the group, she called out to them.
"Oi! Bring over that fancy thread, we got some stitchin' to do." She carefully set the man on the ground, tilting his chin upwards to listen for air and feel for a pulse. Shallow and rapid, respectively, but still going.

(OOC: This post will be a abstract "dream" sequence of Wolf's while he is unconsious.)

BIC: A man in grey armor staggered through the dense forest, his face hidden from his long hair. It stormed and rained. The man coughed up blood, it landing in his palm, he stared wide, then collapsed. The lighting flashed across the bleak sky. Then it came, a thing of nature and death.

It's vision entered Wolf's mind, a vision of death and mindless chaos, of burning and terror. He saw the forest turn black, the waters run red and green, from poison and blood, he saw himself looking at the horizon, seeing nothing but black and grey, fire and smog. The vision shifted east, to the sun. It was red, blood red, enshrouded by the deadly black haze. He then saw himself walking through a town, seeing the rotting bodies, there skin blue and green from the plague that passed.

The next was one of peace. He saw himself lying on a grassy hill, laughing as his family ran around, chasing each other in a fun game. Then it came and slaughtered his family. Wolf looked in horror as he saw the grotesque murder of his family at the hands of Grim.

Then he awoke and went mad, screaming and seeing in his eyes foul nightmares and distorted figures. He clawed at them in a futile attempt to get away. He was then pinned down, then knocked out. He then dreamt no more.

Jade growled a bit, flattening Wolf with her body. When he finally ceased to struggle, she sat back up, looking over at the group as she ran an agitated hand through her hair. "Still waitin' on that string."
When it was finally brought to her, she removed the sleeve-bandage from his leg and began to sew up his wounds, clearly amused as they healed.
"So then. Guess we might as well set up camp again." She called over her shoulder.

Jade couldn't help but chuckle at the odd ball of light that seemed to enjoy her company. "Well, hullo to you, too."

The moon was high now, lazing about in the sky that had seen so much action in less than a single night. Camp had once more been set up, with a warm fire and a pot bubbling with what may have been stew. Jade stirred her concoction over the fire, grumbling every few stirs about what a mess fate had made for them in just one day. She had propped Wolf up on a few lumpy bags nearby, letting him recuperate. It was a calm scene, with most people resting, snoozing, or waiting for stew to be finished, all quietly.
Bright green eyes flicked to each member of the rag tag group, settling finally on the unconscious man.
"Can't seem to go five yards without you gettin' yerself all flopped out and dazed, can we?" She rolled her eyes, crooked smile settling itself in a wry manner on her face. She gave the stew another few hearty stirs, then lifted a spoonful to her mouth. While she blew on the sample, she glanced over at the monstrosity that they had settled nearby. This may have seemed it, but it was less likely that they would be pestered while nestled next to such threatening remains.
