Yup. Those are my favorites, though they don't really show much for my appreciation of music as a whole.

I was going to moan (slightly) about the lack of a mention going to 'The Clash' seen as there are quite a few punk bands listed and well to quote a famous person, "Punk music lived and died with The Clash". But the person above me said them heh.

I'm not sure that a single post could possible contain all of mine. So I'll just give a minor sampling.

Modest Mouse. (Personally, I like the stuff off the albums, infinatly more than the singles on the radio....)
Blue Grass Band. (I'm calling them this, because I don't know who they are, they did a cover of alot of the big Linkin Park songs....blue grass style...sounds horrid right? Actually its pretty good stuff.)
Bob Marley.

Jason Mraz.

You really can't go wrong with any of these. (unless you just don't like blue grass...)

There are some more, but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. And just for fun, here are some bands I HATE, obviously there are bands I dislike, or just aren't really into, but I actually despise: Scouting for girls (the most), Fall out boy, My chemical romance (although I do have some sympathy 'cos I know they save lots of people), Blink 182 (including +44), Hadouken!, The Fratellis, The Fray, The Hoosiers.
