Humans are social by nature. However, humans are particularly adept at utilizing systems of communication for self-expression, the exchange of ideas, and organization. Humans create complex social structures composed of many cooperating and competing groups, from families to nations. Social interactions between humans have established an extremely wide variety of traditions, rituals, ethics, values, social norms, and laws which form the basis of human society. Humans have a marked appreciation for beauty and aesthetics which, combined with the human desire for self-expression, has led to cultural innovations such as art, literature, and music.



Slavery is the systematic exploitation of labor. As a social-economic system, slavery is a legal or informal institution under which a person is compelled to work for another, their master. Evidence of slavery predates written records, and has existed to varying extents, forms and periods in almost all cultures and continents. Slaves are held against their will from the time of their capture, purchase, or birth, and are deprived of the right to leave, to refuse to work, or to receive compensation in return for their labor.



As humans are social animals, they used to co exist with demons. Religion covered up that demons exist making them a part of legends. When demons lived side by side with humans the ones who disliked any other race spilled blood and enslaved them. As the demons turned on the humans it turned into a full out war of the worlds. Cities were destroyed, forests were burned and the demons were nearly wiped out from the human technology. The few demons left as known as Changeling's. Changeling's are one of the few demons that can live forever, for their soul when they die inhabits an unborn human child. At the proper age, usually around puberty, they revert to their demon forms.

High ranking humans in the new build world have everything, money, power, influence, everything. They places slavery into use once again, but it was different. It was for entertainment and household purposes such as dancers and maids. These slaves were the Changeling's that humans had a sort of 'Fetish' with and they ranged anywhere from a Dog Changeling to a Bird. Whatever the human fetish, a demon was brought out to meet their standards. The biggest event in place is The Fetish Auction, humans travel from all over the world to participate in the auction, single demons are brought to the stage and a starting price is already set. They list names, birth dates, demeanor, everything master's would need to know. There is another Auction coming up, Changeling's from all over the world are gathered to be sold off as a piece of fine art.

Will these new Changeling's be obedient enough to just be sold off?

Looks: Xian is of average height and weight for an adult human male, though his body has that athletically cut physique of someone who takes extremely good care of their body. His hair is short and unruly, and looks like it's in a constant state of disarray no matter how much he grooms it, but it looks good on him. Xian's skin is a little pale, so he looks goth without trying to, but doesn't wear any of that make-up... make-up is for sissies. His face is smooth and cut... under different circumstances he might be one of those pretty boy cologne models. The thing that stands out about him the most, however, are his eyes. Xian's right eye is as blue as a cloudless sky, but his left is as red as freshly spilled blood. When he was a free man he used to wear contacts to disguise his red eye, feeling that it was a dead give-away that he wasn't a normal human. In his demon for he transforms into a rather large black furred lion, but keeps his mismatched eyes.

Attire: Xian likes leather, and dislikes shirts. Often times he can be found wearing some kind of leather jacket without a shirt, showing off his rock hard abs. When he was captured he was wearing a simple black leather jacket that looked well worn and weathered, a pair of loose fitting jeans with a black leather belt, and dark brown steel toed boots.

Signature trait: Xian is a free spirit that craves adventure, a lover one day, a villain the next, or something in between. He might cuddle you one minute, and punch you the next. The one thing that stands out about him the most, however, is that he gets this particular crooked grin on his face when something amuses him.

Specialty: Xian is a particularly talented artist, and plays the piano and violin quite well... though as some of his previous owners have noticed, he's also a gifted fighter.

Short Bio: In one of his previous lives, Xian was a fighting slave and his master routinely took him to underground fight clubs and won a fair share of cash betting on him. That is, until he decided he was sick of it one day and staged a rather public execution. "Slave Hurls Master off 30 Story Building and Jumps to Own Death" was the headline of that week's paper. He was doing well hiding the fact that he was a changeling this time around until he got into a particularly nasty bar fight which he SWEARS up and down he didn't start. Well, the fight got out of hand and he changed shapes in a rage, sending three humans to the ICU. Luckily they survived, but he was caught after that, and for the past two years he's been floating around from master to master.

Other: Xian has a rather large tattoo on his back, that also stretches across the back of his arms, as well as three piercings in his left ear. Three silver earrings: one in the lobe and two in the cartilage.

But he did give her a tag, which in her eyes was a compliment in a way.

Lighter gray spots are just on the outside of her cheeks, the outside of her arms, sides above her hips, lower stomach, and the sides of her calves. She has her ears pierced with two silver loops on each, as well as a nose stud on the left side and the right side of her lip. She also has a large yet thin scar tracing all the way down her spine, from her neck to her belt and two smaller scars on the back of her knees.
