Star's adreneline kept her going as she jumped over the men Shade had killed. She make it out of the gate just in time. She heard the door slam shut behind her. Glancing back, she saw the men and vaugly heard their angry voices. Her head snapped forward again and she continued running. She didn't know where she was going, all she knew was that she had to get out of sight. She didn't know what the men were going to do next and she didn't want to wait around to find out.
“You seem to be drowning twice,” said Hermione. “Oh, am I?” said Ron peering down at his predictions. “I'd better change one of them to getting trampled by a rampaging Hippogriff.”

Snow seeing that Shade,Star, and Tiny had made it through the gate, quickly turned and ran as fast as she could. All she could see was the snow covered ground as far as the eye can see. Snow started jumping playfully, and rolled on the snow covered ground. "Finally...the scents, the ground, freedom."

Star watched as Snow jumped around, let out a bark, and ran to join her. She couldn't believe that she was finally free and that she would never have to fight again. She glanced at the other wolves and let out another happy bark.

Seeing the black wolf Tiny tucked his tail and whimpered. Snow stood up and looked at the wolf snarling back. "We had just escape from the humans. I'm sorry if we are in your territory, we just want to get through and establish a pack of our own." she said cautiously, not sure if the wolf would attack or not.

Raven's harsh violet eyes suddenly turned soft. "Oh...." She sighed. "A pack...My pack was slaughtered by these humans....and I was left to die in the snow..." Raven looked up at Snow. "May I please join you? In your pack? I hate being all alone...."

Snow was surprise by the wolf's sudden change in attitude. She relaxed slightly and looked at Raven seriously, raising her tail and head high. "You seem like a useful wolf. Very well, you may join me and Tiny, in our journey to start a pack."
Tiny looked at Raven and wagged his tail slowly. "Hello...welcome to the pack..." he said shyly.

Raven bowed her head to Snow. She smiled. "You know," she said to Tiny. "You're a cute little pup." Suddenly, Raven froze. Her ears shot straight up. "Uh oh" she whispered. Raven turned to Snow and Tiny. "Quick! Follow me!!" She raced off into the forest, kicking up a spray of snow behind her. "Hurry!' Raven called back over her shoulder. "The grizzly! He's comming!!!"

Tiny took off running, almost passing up Raven. Snow, on the other hand, was not running out of fear but out of excitement. "A grizzly. I never really seem one up close before. Are they as scary as they say they are?" she asked Raven, running beside her.

Panting, Raven replied, "They're not so scary if there are maybe, 10 wolves to help you fight it, but only three wolves? We're dead if he catches us!" Raven suddenly stopped. "Wait. You came from that fighting camp. You are trained to fight things bigger than you. Maybe we can take him. After all, I've been itching for some fresh blood." Raven turned to Snow. "You wanna take him on?" she asked, her eyes shining.

Raven grinned. "I'm not exactly a pushover either!" She bared her fangs at the grizzly. "You've terrorized the inhabitants of this land for far too long! Now we take YOUR life!" Raven launched herself at the grizzly's neck. She snarled viciously. Raven felt the bear move backwards. "Wait," she thought. Raven let the bear go and threw herself at Tiny, knocking him aside. Almost immediatly, the bear stomped a large paw down where Tiny once was.

Snow grin at Raven's attitude. "Alright bear." she ran behind the bear and ran up its back until she bit onto its ear. She dig her claws into the bear for better grip and tugged at the ear.
Tiny was knocked aside with a small "Ouf!" he trembled and manage to stutter a thank you before he ran into the bushes, scared of the grizzly's monstrous size and not to mention the grizzly looked extremely intimidating to him.

Star had lagged behind when the new wolf showed up, slightly nervous about the new comer. Now, she looked ahead of her and saw the grizzly and broke out into a sprint. She raced around to the other side to stand with Snow and Raven.

Raven lept at the bear's throat and clamped on. She ripped a large chunk of flesh from his neck. The grizzly roared in pain and slammed Raven with his huge paw, sending her flying into the bushes after Tiny. "Snow! Finish him!' she managed to gasp out before she lost consiousness.

Snow nod and jumped onto the grizzly's shoulder than clamp onto his throat. Grr...die you freaken bastard!!! she ripped out the throat and the bear roared in pain and fell backwards...dead.
Snow ran back to Raven. "She's just unconsious. Tiny, you carry her." Tiny nod and grabbed Raven's scruff and threw her on his back. "Star, make sure Raven doesn't fall off, now let's move." she barked.

Raven groaned an opened her eyes. She jumped down from Tiny's back and shook the snow and dirt from her coat. Raven turned and saw the dead bear, with the huge gash in its throat. She looked at Snow. "Nice." she said. "I think I know the perfect place to go to start a pack. There's abundent game, fresh water, and very few of these things," she nodded at the grizzly. "But," she said. "It's almost impossible to find, unless you're a bird. Good thing my best friend is an owl" Raven grinned. She threw back her head and howled. A few seconds later, a large barn owl swooped down and landed on Raven's head. "This is Sora."

Sora's eyes grew wide, and she hid herself in Raven's thick scruff. Raven shook her out. "Okay Sora, do your thing!" Sora flapped her wings and took off into the sky. Raven turned to Snow and Tiny. "Come on," she said. "Sora knows where shes' going." Raven took off, following the owl. Raven spotted a young caribou. "Mmmm lunch," she thought. Raven took down the caribou with ease, dividing the meat into four equal portions. She gave one to Snow, one to Tiny, and one to Star. "Eat up," Raven said. "We're gonna need all of our strength to reach the Beyond."
