Dark beasts have invaded a world of which I can't think of a name, seizing it from the ground and down the cores of it's 4 realms.

Acer Saccharum - Realm of the air. Dominated by trees, bushes and exotic plants.
The inhabitants live in greek and roman looking structures, with many shrines dedicated to the foliage that surrounds them. The structures are built high and tall but are as strong as the trees. The main law enforcers are the Wind Shapers, elite soldiers that manipulate the air in a way that allows them to leap to great heights. They have excellent balance and agility. They need not rely on brute strength as their speed and leverage gaining abilities are all that are excellent.
Wind Shapers are the best scouts and rangers.


Solenopsis Invicta - Realm of the Flame. Covered by rocks and volcanoes, with rivers of lava and flames that spontaneously burst to life and die as quickly as they came. It is the most dangerous of the lands to live.
Most of the inhabitants live underground.
They're protected by fierce soldiers who use brute strength and force as their highest attribute.
They are the best combat fighters.

Dihynogen - Realm of Water. This realm shares a traits with the Realm of the Air. Foliage exists here, but sparsely. Most of the realm is fresh water rivers, or muddy swamps - the dangerous areas - the dwellers of this Realm live on the various island formations. They are excellent swimmers and are known for their speed and grace, but above all, their beauty. They're known to be deceptive people.
They have grasped the concept and knowledge of stealth better than all the races. The only ones behind them are the Air inhabitants.

Miaclature - Realm of the Soils. The realm of soils, is dominated by dry land, with small rivers running through. It is mostly covered with grass, with rolling valleys and stretching fields. The inhabitants of Miaclature are the best at crafting items from minerals found and mined from the soils. Their soldiers aren't the toughest of fighters but their Intestinal Fortitude is second to none. They're somewhere between a Fire Realm and Air Realm soldier.

Then there are the Desert Wastelands. Lands of pure death where nothing survives. It's a sentence worse than execution for the unlucky prisoner sent to be slaughtered slowly in the rolling fields of sand. There is nothing but darkness in the sands, save for the scorching sun.
The borders between the deserts and other realms are long the lands gradually change, one would know when they are close when they see the decay of what they knew as a living thing. Usually, smoldering embers, wiltered leaves, muddy and polluted water or tainted soils.
Not even the strongest warriors dare to face the wastelands.

There is another realm that little is known about.
Wild claims and stories have been tossed around all about the land.
People claiming they've seen being made of what appeared to be nothing but light, some kind of energy.
Whatever it may be, it's a mystery.

The 4 Realms have never had much good blood between them, they only kept fair relations between each other for the purpose of trade.
E.g. Stone from the Realm of Soils to the Realm of Air, Water from the Realm of Water to the Realms of Stone and Air.

But now, the realms best warriors must band together and fight, try as they might to set aside differences and re-claim the land that is rightfully there's.
The ruling elders of each land, as much as they dislike having to meet, are steadfast in their conclusion.
Their substitute world cannot last much longer. 2 years at the most before people begin to die with lack of nourishment, shelter and proper care.

I'd like to have at least one of each race playing.
And conflict amongst the group would be excellent.

Name: Zarkandar Idifair

Weapon: Metal quarter staff enchanted with powers of wind shaping, allowing the wielder to jump to extreme heights and manipulate the air to achieve this. Forged from extremely strong materials, can stand tonnes of pressure per square inch. Near indestructible.

Background: Born into the life of a warrior but never to the ways. He trained in the art of pole arms and as such is very proficient. He spent most time honing his ability to become a Wind Shaper. Makes an excellent scout but his fighting background makes him an excellent fighter. The two combine and Zarkandar is a hunter.

Personality: A vicious fighter when he sets his mind to it, often making reckless mistakes when he becomes angered, on the outside he appears to be a loner but really he values the company and the other chosen ones greatly and fears for them at all times, he is hardly ever outward about it and doesn't often open up unless he's angry at someone for something.

Origin: Being a Wind Shaper, Zarkandar hails from the Acer Saccharum.

Appearance: Handsome, masculine face covered on top with a mane of silvery white hair, only half the back being tied up as the rest of the Wind Shapers do.
Short sleeved feather exterior light coat with soft polar fleece inside. Underneath he wears a sleeveless tight fitting murky green vest.
On his legs he wears light brown baggy pants and to protect his feet he has sturdy leather boots with grey feathers tightly stitched all over.

*Distinguishing features: As part of his allegiance to the Air god and allegiance to the Wind Shaper clan he has a burgundy red tattoo that goes from the top of his right cheek and snaking all the way down to his right side and covering his right side and right arm, ending in points at his wrist that bears much resemblance to gnarled tree roots.
It represents his bloodline in the wind.

Group Role: Scout/Hunter

Right, make sure your character sheets include all that information.

*Distinguishing features is optional, but it does give a character more depth and intrigue so keep that in mind.

Name: Talise Romney

Weapon: Oak crossbow enchanted with the powers of water, making it easier for the arrows to penatrate armour and flesh.

Background: Born as nobility but brought up in the role of a servent because of the presence of unsightly birth marks on her arms. Naturally strong in the abilities of her people but not very keen on practice of those skills. Talise is not one to fight unless the conflict is thrown her way.

Personality: Stubborn but quiet about it, observant, secretive about her origins and anything relating to her past. A night owl, unable to sleep as soon as it becomes dark.

Origin: Dihynogen

Appearance: Beautiful in face with porcelain skin and long blonde hair. Bright blue eyes that seem to shine when light hits their surface. Slim body clothed in the lightest fabrics; a long jacket that reaches just past her thigh with bronze buttons closing its front, she wears a red skirt with lengthy cuts up the side to allow movement. As well, she wears knee high leather boots that are laced with silver string.

*Distinguishing features: Birth marks run up both arms, hidden by her jacket at all times. The marks are of no shape but are of various colours, from white to brown to black.


Group Role: Defender/Night Watch

Weapon: 2 handed longsword forged out of Obsidian, religious runes are carved into the blade

Background: Born to fight Iero was trained to be a warrior very early in life, he has since become a fierce warrior. When conflict arrives he is the first in the battle and the last one standing

Personality: Quiet and keeps to himself, when he does speak his voice pierces the souls of those who hear it inciting fear in his enemies and awe in his comrades, Iero is also very patient able to wait forever for the right moment to present itself

Origin: Solenopsis Invicta

Appearance: Iero has long black hair tied with a crimson thread, he has fiery red eyes and three noticable scars, one vertical across his left eye, one diagonal across his right cheek and one horizontal across his nose, he also has another scar going diagonal across his chest but nobody sees it. He wears a black undershirt with a polished crimson body armour covering his torso, red leather gloves which reach halfway up his forearm, a black sash around his waist and tied at the front, black slacks and red leather boots that reach his knees

Distinguishing Features: His three scars going across his left eye, right cheek and nose and a hidden scar across his chest

Group Role: Rear Flank/Cook (Whoa a warrior that can cook that's rare)

Weopen- He only cares a long sword at his side- told by his master only to use in great need, he has named it- Eduro

Backstory - Born Solenopsis Invicta, , He knows differnt fighting styles and Knows how to use differnt weopens. From a Master of Herus, He learned the power of controling the elements. He was a grip on Fire, but does not ahve a desire to learn further, So far he is studying to control water which has become a great challege, so in meadtion he has headed toward the Great Desert, by his master's belief that he should master that which is so rare and so hard to obtian that he will become stronger for it. EH now cahllege himself everyday to become stronger. But he knows that his training will not last for war will come shortly.

Appearance- wears only White meager lenins,A sleeveless top with long bottoms. A Leather belt at across his chest and one at his waist. his shoes are Greek sandals. His hair is black and flows past his neck. He has grow out his beard. a Blue Shash is kept at his side..In the hot sun and the figate cold he put on a ragedy cloak.

Group Role -Lead Attack/Levelheaded teacher/all around good fighter (give him a weopen and he can use it)

Okay, there's plenty of people and there'll be a short period beforehand that people can use to join.
So, I declare this started.


what happens - just to allow people that small window of opportunity, should they wish to join up - is that all our characters congregate in some hall or area where the elders will conjour up a portal and take us to the motherland.

Got it? Good...excellent, do it..go!

Serrodis medated in the blistering sun. He sat and concentrated, he coudl hear the drums of war pounding into his mind. He slowly stood up," My time here is over. I can not wait any longer." He grabbed his sword and walks his way out of the burning desert. For weeks he would travel until he reached a village of Hessia. He arrives a samll hovel. It is coverd in High plam leaves, with mud as walls. He knocks a the door. An old man opens it welcoming him in.
" Ah, good sir, your back. How long has it been, 2,uhh 3"
"Five years." siad Serrodis as he walked into his minor home. " I hope you still have my things."
" Oh, yes" the man rushes to his bed and brings him a small bag. "here's the stuff."
" Thank you." He opened the bag. It had a samll assortment of coins a ring and a chain. He takes out the chain and the rings and put them on. he uses the bag as a coin case as he put it at his belt. He walks out of the house. " thank you for holding my things for such along time."
"No trouble at all, it was a mear favor and you need not ask for payment, I hope that god gives you his good grace." as the old man slowly closes the door. Serrodis walks on and buy himself a Horse a he rides to the City of Meridos in the small kingdom of Rishian. My vision showed me of this place, I belive this is where my journey will begin.. He rides to a Grand Tavern with a large feast hall inside. He waits for what he does not know.

Zarkandar's meanderings grew tiresome so quickly.
This place was nothing like his home Acer Saccharum.
Oh, how he mourned and lamented for his home.
But only inwardly, only there could his feelings be truly accepted.
Outwardly, he remained cold, distant, his demeanor here was a stark contrast as to what it would've been back in the homeland, amongst the trees, bushes and other growth, with the clean, fresh spring water that flowed from Dihynogen.
Where Zarkandar was an elite Windshaper, the captain of his own small squad.
Efficient law-keepers and popular with the locals.

But now, a new kind of law had to be administered, something Zarkandar felt honoured and excited by.
He would be part of the expedition to save his land and the others with it.

Name: Zemeika Tiana

Weapon: A long hollow staff made of bamboo. It is strong, laqoured and varnished, and enchanted to increase it's strength and endurability. It's hollow is filled with liquid gold and mrcury, making it extremely heavy, though Zemeika carries it easily. It is enforced with simple powers of water, allowing her to manipulate. Also, a katana bestowed upon her by her mother. it decreas to manipulate the air and shall burn all excpet it's weilder and those it demeans worthy enough.

Background: Born to a mix of the races, Zemeika's mother was of the Acer Saccharum and her father Dihynogen. Born in Acer Saccharum, Zemeika spent her first five years not knowing her father, as he resided upon Dihynogen. At the age of 5 and a half, she was releived of her young duties and given permission to meet him. Zemeika spent 2 years living on Dihynogen with her father, but once again she had to return to hr mother. She continued like this, travelling from one place to another, acquiring an excellent understanding on the politics and dealings, and differences between the two places. Under the progressive training of both parents Zemeika became a reasonable fighter, manipulator, and convincer. Though not as good as the true Dihynogen Zemeika was an above average swimmer, and though not having acquired the extreme beauty of her mother, Zemeika had a pretty, neat face that could never be called ugly, nor extremely beautiful. And she preffered it that way. Her air and water manipulative acheivements increased in status, nd continue to do so.

Personality: Zemeika is a quiet, simple girl who wouldn't trade her family or life for any one elses. she is happy travelling between parents, and is an alert academic and physical acheiver. She strives to do her best to prove herself worthy or being bestowed with the ability of both the Acer Saccharum and Dihynogen. Though more then often not quiet, Zemeika can have a fiery teper when provoked, which only adds to her feirce fighting behaviour at times.

Origin: Though her mother hails from Acer Saccharum and her fathr from Dihynogen, Zemeika was born in Acer Saccharum

Appearance: Though not overly beautiful like hr mother, Zemeika has a neat and pretty face that could never be called ugly nor overly beautiful, and she pefers it this way. Her doe-like eyes are a slate blue-grey, and are adorned by long, think, dark lashes which give her a permanant "awake look". being most active at night, her skin is fairly pale. Zemeika has a lithe, agile body, standing around 5'8" tall. Her hair is a white blonde, with odd chunks of raven blue-black. Her lips are full, and accentuate her pouty mouth. Often seen wearing a simple blue-green gown covered with a dark cloak, of the attire of a youth (pants, tight at waist and ankles, baggy inbetween, loose shirt) Zemeika isn't picky about her appearance.

Distinguishing features: Her strangley coloured hair. A freckle in the shape of a whirl pool/cyclone on her lower back.

Zemeika floated on her back, releshing the warmth f the sun on her face and the cool, carressing water on her back. The smell of fresh water filled her small nose, and her arms moved lazily as she slowly drew closer to the shore. Her doe-like eyes were closed, her lashes stark against her pale skin. She appeared a young woman, possibly only in her early twenties, and she was pretty, though not overly beautiful. She full, red lips were contorted into a content smile, and un-hurriedly, Zemeika opend her eyes, her pupils distorting in their size as they absorbed the bright sunlight that so suddenly streamed into them. Zemeika felt smooth pebbles and sand brush against her hands, and she stood slowly, letting the water cascade off her body in it's own temporary, playful waterfall. Zemeika's eyes danced about her as she stepped out of the water, onto solid ground, and shook her dripping hair from her perfectly symetrical face. A cloth was placed by the bamboo pole she always carried with her, and she picked it up and ran i over her arms and face, letting the sun dry her clothing. She wearing pants of a light material, tight at the waist and ankles and baggy inbetwen, and a loose shirt, and despite the warmth of the day she was comfortably cool in temperature. Zmeieka lifted up the heavy bamboo pole easily, tucking her hair behind her ear with long fingers, and slipped her dainty feet into her worn leather sandals.
Sheilding her eyes against the sun, Zemeika estimated the time. It was only jusdt reaching mid-day, but she didn't want to be late. Suprisingly enough she ha a "quest" of sorts, and was meant to meet up with numerous others at one of the many halls, to hbe transported by the elders of told. Zemeika shuffled her feet, then moved through the few trees to her horse, Tyra. She was teathered loosley, chewing on a small clump of rass contentedly. Strapping the bamboo pole to the back of her saddle, Zemeika lifted herself onto Tyra's back easily, barely pressing her heels against tyra's flank to make her pull the rope that tethered her and begin to move forward in a brisk walk, slowly moving into a sitting trot, then smooth canter. Hopefully Zemeika would be their before it was time nd she could stop by to say goodbye to her father...

As Zarkandar wandered about, killing time - of which he had far too much - he took the time to really take in the world around him.
Strong magic had opened the portal to take the populace of Zarkandar's world over here.
It was stark contrast to the rolling fields of green in Miaclature, the hanging foliage of Acer Saccharum, the island dotted landscape of Dihynogen or the rocky, cragged terrain of Solenopsis Invicta.
Things such as grass, water and soil were commonplace on the current world as well, but the sky, a mono shade of impenetrable, pitch black.
Like a giant canvas stretched across the sky, all the light seemed unnatural, it was just there.

Zarkandar despised this world, it was nothing like his home-land, nothing like the world he'd spent all his life, living in, loving and protecting.
It burned him up inside to know that that world had been hopelessly besieged.
But the prospect of him, Zarkandar Idifair, Elite Windshaper, was on an expedition to reclaim his world, steal it blind back from the foul, ravenous beast that sought to corrupt it.

Time had passed, Zarkandar's observations and thoughts had caused him to lose track of the time and where he was going.
His direction had never changed, he knew where he was going, where he was needed.
Everyone goodbye had been said, every good luck charm had been given.
He reached up and touched the gold necklace his dear wife had given to him.

The memory was vivid now, the tears in her eyes, streaking down her face, her beautiful face encompassed by sadness, worry and fear.
But Zarkandar, ever the valiant warrior had assured her, he'd return, dead or alive, he would return.
She had placed the necklace in Zarkandar's hand, the gold glinted in the fake light.
A golden chain with small golden trinkets adorned across the links.
All were small, except one, the one that meant the most to Zarkandar, his wife's wedding ring, worn on a necklace - which was customary in his realm.
He knew, he would never be truly apart from her as long as he wore the necklace.
