Ok, so, we basically need weapon classes. We can lable them as Heavy, light and medium or by what kind they are. Sword, Spear, Axe, Longsword, Greatsword, Greataxe, and so forth. I'd go with the Sword's and spear labels because you can actually draw them, but cut out greatsword, greataxe and longsword. We'll just put them under sword and axe. lol. And we'll also put daggers, cuz truth be told, daggers are the shit. lol. Also staffs and rods. Almost forgot those.

As for the other drawings. I don't think all the rooms our characters will be in matter much, but the city itself matters a bit. Or at least a descriptive detail on its history, which I'll gladly do. I'm pretty good at giving people and other things random history. Because in a good Final Fantasy rp, you want it to seem real. We can't show its graphics but we sure can give it history so everyone will know what there talking about.

I would draw the cities if I had a scanner. If I find my digital camera I'll gladly do it. We don't NEED it but its a suggestion. And not all the cities, just the main ones.

But we need one particular drawing. The starting point. Maybe Town Square in the city we start in. Or the area where the crystal resides. We need a starting point where our characters will come together at. Don't draw the characters there, just the scenery.

And as for the NPC's, well, what are you exactly planning on using it for? Like a save point right?

Ok, I could get some good pics drawn up, the problem is no camera. Mines busted. Also i dissagre, we should seperate all the weapons specifically. not just swords, greatswords and other types, its always been like that in final fantasy, me having played all but X-2 and 11.

Also, id like to add a sheet of all weapons although i can tell alot of them wont be used.

1h sword
2h sword
dagger
staff
wand
bracer
gun
bow
scale
mace
1h axe
2h axe

May I add the class: "Unique"

to the list? just to accommodate weapons that doesn't fit under the given list.

Also, here's some suggested classes that might be listed.

Spear
Lance
Ring - think dynasty warriors if this doesn't seem to make sense on first read, there are some ring class weapons there

Lol. Now you all are really getting into this. The NPCs are used to give that FF feel to it. For weapons it's on whatever you guys to decide on dividing them up on. I'd keep it simple and not crazy detailed, but I'll let you guys decide on it.

Landscape will just be the main places that we'll be at through the RP. So that won't be hard...just like 5 drawings of random scenery! XD I wish someone could do that for me now. I've just been real busy with work, and random shit I have to do. I can't draw worth a shit, but I can make whole lot of random shit up. So maybe me and Vivi can work on the history of the places while others work on the drawings/graphics. What do you guys think so far?

Me thinks good. lol. And my opinion for an NPC save point would be a crystal. Not a big one like in 12, but a small one with smaller crystals floating around it. Since this is an rp about a giant crystal, I thought it would fit. Or we can go with moogles.

ooh, speaking of complex weapon classes; I've been playing FFXI for almost 3 years now, this is their setup:

Hand-to-Hand (2h)
Daggers (1h)
Swords (1h)
Great Swords (2h)
Axes (1h)
Great Axes (2h)
Scythes (2h)
Polearms (2h)
Katana (1h)
Great Katana (2h)
Clubs (1h)
Staves (2h)
Ranged (rng slot)
Instruments (rng slot)
Ammo & Misc. (ammo slot)

might not be the best idea to use this kind of detail - we don't wanna bite off more than we can chew.

you don't have to work hard on scenery-shots, well of course the "out of this world" areas will need a lot of work, but for landscape just grab any old picture and touch it up in photoshop, For instance:

If you want to kill a man with words you could always try beating him to death with a dictionary :P

Trying to get Landscapes right now. I'm currently since I offered under development of a Written version of the Kingdom of Xion, The Lost World, and the Sky City. I've done it once though I'm re-writing it. I like to re-write things and make it better so I have a lot of work I've been doing. :P Also if Azure is okay with it, I planned to be Magistrate Leader. But for all the guys in the Magistrate, let me be Leader. Trust me, you'll be pleased. ;) Though who this Magistrate Leader will be, is a secret. ^.^ That Only I and Azure know. :D

Well I was going to release a few things but with that attitude. And like any good movie, there is always a behind the scenes. You can't just show everyone what is going to happen, it takes away the fun of everything. Anyway here is a small Draft of the Sky City. I wrote this myself, the only thing is how big it is, that was by Azure. The rest is purely me. Though I would love advice, feel free to add to it, and tell me what you would like to see. These are very Simple, they give you a basic idea. Though as seeing the Imagination of the Mind, I'll let that do the rest. This just gives you an idea of what it is like there. The Names of places, and exactly how things look, I'll let everyone else put their own input in that throughout the RP. Also this had not been edited, I wrote it just now. But I haven't fixed all the errors in it. I will being doing that as we speak.

Sky City of Mestoplem
The Ancient Sky City of Mestoplem, taking up 45% of the Land Mass, 15% more than the Kingdom of Xion. This being the Largest City provided. Most play it close to an Oasis. Currently these people live highly civilized with highly developed technologies. They are beyond anything you have seen, and are a powerful force. Though their lives seem simple, they are surrounded by some of the Largest Mountain Ranges in the Continent. Keeping them perfectly safe from any attempt of an attack. And no idiot has ever been smart enough to climb the mountain, and those who have, have never even lived to tell the tale of their treks. To get to the city you must take an Air Ship over the Mountain, which isn't really easy to find. Though it was made this way not to be easy. The only ones even know to have Air Ships are the Mestoplem Army, and possibly Xion, though that is unknown. Even Once you find a ship, usually anywhere from four to six guards can be found guarding it at any time. Which makes it a major challenge getting a ride. Even If you even get inside the city Legally, they will first inspect every aspect of you. As well as do a browse of your things, throwing out anything that could be found a threat. This usually can take up anywhere from one or two days. During this time they will put you in captivity. Once inside, you will notice two Large Guard Towers at the front of the Palace, these being the Main Helms for the entire Operation within the Mountain. Up top, scopes, keeping an eye on everything and everyone. As you see, this place is very locked up, and eyes are everywhere when even you don’t know it. Besides these, Guard Towers are split up all over Mestoplem. Though otherwise it is very tranquil here, the people are very peaceful. Even though the Government keeps a note on everyone, as well as their hate towards the Lost World. Their technology is so great, they find the Lost World to be inferior to them, though this is more their Government then their actual people. Throughout this city, the main way to travel is by boat, a large River flows through the city, almost like a street. The water comes from a small waterfall edged out on the side of the mountain, it is also very clear and used for Drinking Water as well. 10% alone of this city alone is build of their Palace, which is carved of pure Gold, making the Palace very strong. It sits widely in the back of the City, unlike Xion. Being a little more lenient, they do allow people inside of a daily basis. For tours, or even just to speak with the Counsel on important matters. Though still, Guards fill almost every hall, to keep an eye out for terrorists. Inside Crime is something rarely ever head of, the only ones to ever commit a crime are outsiders who try to disturb balance. Though the Government usually quickly hides this fact, keeping all evidence away. Also being at war with Xion, they no longer allow Xion civilians to visit their dorms. Otherwise, the rest of the City is very Upper-Class, all of it. Most people here all have important jobs, making the best equipment and technology money can buy. Everyone here is important to the City, though even besides this they have beautiful landscapers, bakers, and other important figures. The only districts here is the Shopping Plaza, which takes up nearly another 10% of land. All for the Market. Another 10% is thrown for Housing, beautiful houses built of the best wood money can buy. Beautiful Cedar, and Red Wood. Another 10% is given to the beautiful Forests, and brush that they hold. Several beautiful peaceful creatures live inside there, and many people like to travel through there. Usually this is where the fun is, though this also makes up their Private Pools and Parks. The last small 5% makes up Warehouses and Crops. Everything here is ran on machinery, and no Labor is needed but a few Supervisors to keep things going. So as you see, Mestoplem is made up of several attractions, things always running smoothly. Though the hate to the Lost World is a lot of trouble at times to the Government. Though one last thing they had, that Xion doesn’t is the Sky Crystal. Which floats obviously above the city, way out of reach. The only way to get there is said if the Crystal calls to you, or if you are one of the Ancients, the Magistrate. Though the Magistrate is said to be a myth, and no one has ever been called by the Crystal. If called they legend says a Staircase of Gold will form to your feet, and once there, a large flooring is build around the Crystal, and in the Center is nicely sits there. Though sadly no one knows exactly what it looks like, only evidence is the light gleaming that comes from it when the sun hits it.

Kingdom of Xion:
The grand Kingdom of Xion, the most powerful Fortress to have ever been built. It takes up almost 30% of the Entire Continent. Which is a very decent chunk of land. Currently at this time it is lead by the powerful tyrant, Acerbus, who later came to be the one to beginning the war. Before, Queen Sarin took the Crown. The Large City is surrounded by an amazing almost impenetrable wall, no man has ever broken through or dare try to make an aerial assault. Their armies double in size to most for even taking up as small as a plot of land that they already do. Their wall is about twenty-five feet thick, crafted of pure Stone, some of the strongest Rock to be found. The Wall is almost somewhere between fifteen and twenty miles long, a pure modern monster. One of the few Wonders this world carries. Through it, there are Guard Towers almost ever hundred feet of the wall, housing anywhere from seven to ten men at any given time. Each of them loaded with Laser Cannons, having a range of about two miles. The Drawback between shots is only about three seconds, but each blast counts. They are large Steel Plated Towers, guarded front and back, in front if about three feet opening all the way across, including the sides. Enough room to fire off rounds. This Wall has only one known entrance, a large Gate in the front of the Fortress. On each side are almost a dozen well-trained soldiers, perfectly armored and ready for combat. Otherwise the Gate is well secured and even if the Guards are taken out, the gate is still locked shut, and would take days to unlatch it. Once inside, it is like any other city you have seen. Outside the City is beautiful Grass Land, usually outside is where their crops lie, most of their income is grown here. In the Center of the City, is the Palace, taking up almost 5% of the entire circumference inside. And the Palace is gigantic, towering over the Wall, you can’t go anywhere without seeing it. The only ones aloud inside are Royals, no Peasant has ever had the privilege to step inside. Only Besides the Kings forces. It is Guarded around the clock, Warriors surround the entire Palace, as well as it is well Gated. Outside of that, taking up almost 10% is Upper-Class, large houses crafted of quality stone and wood, most people here have work to back it up. Few are Advisors to the King, as well as part of the Royal Counsel, and High-Ranked Soldiers. As well as those who Craft the weaponry that is used in War. Most here are very important people, and always stay close in the King’s eyes. Outside of this, taking up another 10% is pure Middle-Class. Having our artisans, and bakers, almost 6% of it being the Shopping District. The other is housing. Most here are well for the Economy, and without them the Kingdom would be nothing. Most of the Products come out of here. Also this includes Water, a large fountain sits right in the Middle of the District. Entirely the Center of the entire Kingdom, it always having clean fresh water. It is said to be the only water source in the entire City, though reports have said that several Fountains precede in the Palace for the Royals Private use. Though it has been known that water is run out from the Palace and provides Upper-Class with water as well. The last 5% is the Lower-District. Most here are scrounging for money, little work is seen here. Most live in Run Down homes, paying Taxes with the Money they work for. Usually they are Slaves, servants to most of the Upper-Class. They are paid with nickels and dimes, having barely anything to live on. These are also the ones seen working outside in the Danger Zone of the Palace, working on the fields. Throughout the Entire City itself, there are hundred of beautiful trees as well as a few Parks. It is very beautiful through ¾ of it, as is always well-kept. Otherwise their justice system is also something not to be reckoned with. There as Soldiers stationed all over the City, always ready for action. Though usually there is a little Crime Rate, the Punishment for Crime in this city is automatic Death, even for the smallest Crimes such as theft. Though reason being, the Lower-Class is the only one’s in history to commit crimes within the walls. Secondly the war is out of Civilizations hands, it is more the King than anyone else. He forces his Army to fight, and the War Is at his fault.

I like that Proclaimer. It would definitely fit with the story and it gives a lot of drama you know? Between Xion and Mestoplem.

And I've speculated a new city. We need more than two so I decided to post the main side-city. The Lost Kingdom of Redna. I'll post what I've decided for The Lost Kingdom of Redna. Note: I added the lost part because it is very hard to find and its far from the other cities.

The Lost Kingdom of Redna.
The kingdom of Redna. An indeed powerful kingdom found by the ancient king of Kerrchak. The kingdom began as a tribe for indians, who were proud of there land and refused to give it to anyone. Soon people began to come to the kingdom of Redna, which then was an empty land but a free land. Land that had food and water and enough resources to last centuries. They ruled the Lost world, and the Lost World was empty for the time being so they took almost everything around the mountains, avoiding Mestoplem and Xion. The kingdom of today is now a powerful city. The Kingdom of Redna rest within one city, and few islands around it. The city itself though resides deep in the forest, past the Redna Straight to the large Castle island of Redna. The city of Redna is within the forest/beach, one large island and few small islands outside of it. The small islands are merely fishing posts where they get there food. The islands also have houses on it and boats to where they cook the fish, package it and ride it over on the boat. Some rich people live on the islands mainly for the beach view. In the forest part of the city, there are houses made from wood and stone, and it is full of mainly hunters and guards. For the only way to the Island city where the castle resides is through the forest. They have been smart enough to make any way around the forest impossible, growing even more trees and using immovable rocks as blockades. The forest guards are equipped with fine weapons. Not as technological as Mestoplem or Xion, but nonetheless it can kill any man or beast. There is over 50 guards throughout the forest. For the forest is much easier to get through than mountains. There are no roads, and over 3 ways to get into the castle, which are guarded by the guards. The guards are unseeable for they wait in the trees or hide in caves. The forest is at least 15 miles wide in diameter and 50 feet high. One way to the Island is through a cave in the middle of the forest which will take you underground and come out the other side to a beach with the island in view. There you will also reach the forest city. That is the main passageway for people who wish to see the city. Another 2 are giant tree trunks which are used for guards who use the tree as an outpost. There is a secret opening inside it which will take you through some stairs and you will reach to the tallest part of the tree, and from there you will see bridges across the trees where guards will be waiting. They will search you and see if you are a threat. Once you reach the beach city then thats as far as you can go. For no one but nobles and guards are allowed to the Islands. The Castle is made of a type of rock which glimmers in the sun. Not silver nor gold nor diamond, just a stone that is both strong and shiny. The island is protected by walls and the only way to get to the island is on a boat and you would have to sail 20 miles straight and you will encounter several guard outposts who will check your boat more than once. Once you reach the island, they will do an even more advanced search on you and if you get through, you will see a golden road and feel a cool breeze as the bakers make the finest bread and cook the best fish obtainable. Redna holds the greatest seafood better than Xion or Mestoplem. Since everything is labor work, the people of Xion are strong, fit and healthy and the one reason why they hated Mestoplem and Xion was there stuck up attitude. But as long as they remain hidden, they are happy. Few outsiders are fine, but they don't want to get involved with the quarrel between Mestoplem and Xion.

Very Nice Very Nice. We came up with the basics of 45% belongs to Sky Kingdom, and 30% belongs to Xion. The other 25% I guess makes up barren lands, beaches, and just wastelands. So this City can be put somewhere in these supposed Barren Lands, as seeing most won't know of this place. It could be of great use later. I will be writing up the Lost World when I have time. A lot of my ideas are spread right now, so I'm just slowly thinking about what I should write up. ><

Well I have another idea. There can be a Desert settlement full of bandits. No cities or anything, just a small village with bandits outside of it. And it can become a task for the characters to save the village from the bandits. The Village would be dying of thirst because the bandits are holding up the oasis and making them pay for the water. The bandit's name could be The Desert Horders. This could be a quick mission for them on the way to wherever-the-hell-they-are-going and gain some experience from it.

Hmm................I'm getting a plot idea from this. I'm gonna go think on it and I'll post what I have later.

The Lost World
The Lost World, it has no real purpose to any of the other Worlds, and is main enemy number one when it comes to Mestoplem. They live underground, taking up everything that is down there. Including being under both Mestoplem and Xion. A small advantage if you look at it in the right eyes. The large City is about fifty feet under the ground, so as you see things can get very dangerous. Landslides and cave-ins are already suspected around here, and most people are use to it. The entire city is a large shadow, though they do get minor light from holes leading to the Surface World. Though it isn’t as grand as the Surface. Most buildings are rundown, it looking almost like the Low-District of Xion, but that would be leisure to the Lost World. Things aren’t really split up here, they don’t really have districts of a government. More of a “Whatever goes.” Type of policy to its people. Even though this is true, it isn’t filled with liars, or thief’s, surprisingly that is. Besides gaining sunlight, they also gain a good amount of Water through the holes to the surface, having several Waterfalls. Getting up the Surface is simple, they have several tunnels that connect to Mestoplem and Xion. Though the Sky Kingdom has them Guarded and shut down, due to their hate towards them. At Xion they are welcomes, the King sees that they may be allies because of the need of revenge towards Mestoplem. So usually he treats them with royalty seeing one more Warrior to add to his ranks. Or maybe just another pawn. Getting back to the City, they don’t have Guards, they have rebels more or so. A few people like to make sure things are smooth around there, and fight back crime. As well as Sky City scum, though otherwise nothing. The Buildings are old and broken down, scraps from the Surface Dwellers. Old Wood, and Metal, most of it is stone. It is like the Modern Caveman age down there as most see it. Though again, they like it clear they are not brutes daily. As said, a shopping district is not something they have, they get products from waste really, though they have been known to sneak up on land and steal fresh products. Not having a Justice System, they do have Elders. Old, wise figures who are always bragging of Peace to come, and fortune. Not that anyone cares. The Lost World is a simple, but rebellious place, as you can see everyone is happy. Though living on the Surface World, no one has really known to want to travel below.

Not a bad idea. As long as you explain in depth. And tell us exactly what goes into each one, that is a great idea actually, I kind of like that. Though maybe there should be levels for that. Like strength level one. This is just a example don't use it, but can lift 10-30 pounds. Just like make levels of them.

RolePlayGateway is a site built by a couple roleplayers who wanted to give a little something back to the roleplay community. The site has no intention of earning any profit, and is paid for out of their own pockets.

If you appreciate what they do, feel free to donate your spare change to help feed them on the weekends. After selecting the amount you want to donate from the menu, you can continue by clicking on PayPal logo.
