First Ever realistic silhouette ( )

Alright. I know you all think that it need be explained a bit more, so, I shall. This is my first ever attempt at drawing from a photograph and doing a silhouette. I know it's not anywhere NEAR good, but I thought I would show it off none-the-less.

Hey, I like it! Was this scanned, or did you take a picture of a picture? Wish we could have an image that was a bit brighter and crisper!

This is really good. For a first try, it looks really great. It looks a lot like the girl in the photo so I think you managed to get her just right.
Although I do have to agree, it's not very clear.

I like it in fact its really good. But I cant see the face? Is that because its a sillouhette or just cuz?
