I call Roy Mustang and I'll take Edward and Alphonse until someone else comes and takes those two. ^^

Riza Hawkeye was now the coronal since Mustang had become Fuer. She was walking down the hall of Central Military Headquarters with Winrey talking to her "Winrey are you sure you want to do that, I mean what would Edward think?" Winrey looked at her and stopped just outside Mustang's office where the elric brother's were talking to Roy "That's just it Riza. I don't think Ed really notices me unless its to fix his automail. I want to at least try giving the entrance exam to become a normal military person, like you."

"Edward, for the last time. I have no idea what Winry is up to. I havent even seen her at all lately." Mustang said, trying to clear everything up. "Oh yeah? I'm pretty sure she's right past that door right now." Edward said, panicking at Roy, thinking that he's just feeding him a total lie. Al was just left there, sitting next to his brother, giving a helpless sigh.

Winrey and Riza both heard Ed shouting and sighed. Hawkeye knocked on the door saying "Fuer, I have someone who wishes to speak with you." she opened the door and stepped aside for Winery to walk in. Once inside Winrey looked at Roy like she didn't even see Ed and said "I wish to join the military and be your auto tech and provide automail to those wounded in battle." Riza looked at him and said "She made this choice on her own Roy."

"Well, its up to her if she wants to join, seeing that she's the only one and she's more than capable of making decisions on her own" Mustang said as he started gagging Edward so that he can't say otherwise. "Well Winry, are you sure you want to join the military??"

Winrey took a deep breath and said looking Ed in the eyes "Edward, what do think of it. I mean I may not know how to use alchemy but if I do join I could travel with you and fix your automail more often, plus I'd be able to help with your search of the stone." she then turned to Al and said "I want to know your opinion as well Al, after all your both my friends and I want to know what you both think."

"NO WAY!!!" Edward screamed. "But brother....she could help us find the stone, and fix your automail quicker." Al told his brother in a sense of reasoning with him. Taking deep breaths, he finally spoke out "Ok Winry, I accept your idea." Mustang nodded at Edward, then looked at Winry. "Very well.....from now on, you are now an official member of the army. Welcome aboard." Mustang announced to Winry.

Winrey bowed slightly to Mustang and said "Thank you sir. I'll do my best to not let you down." Then turning to Ed she said softly "Edward, could we go somewhere and talk in private for a moment." Riza said "Al why don't you come with me to get Winrey's new uniform."

Al got up and followed Riza as Edward followed Winry reluctantly. Mustang just decided to sleep. "Now what do you want Winry?" Edward asked as he looked back at Mustang sleeping in his office.

Winrey stopped and looked at him "I want to know what you think of me being a member of the military. The full opinion and posibly without the yelling. I didn't think Mustang would approve me so fast, I mean I had just thought of joining. I wasn't going to until after talking to you about it." She had started to tear up but wasn't showing it or letting the tears fall.

"Honestly, I dont really care as long as you stay out of my way and dont bother me." Edward said, trying to make it seem less and less like he actually cared, in truth he cared much about her. He then walked off in a storm to go find his brother.

Winrey opened her mouth to say something but only whispered to him as he left "I'm sorry Edward." She then left and went to the train station to go home. Once on the train back to Risenbal she said "I wanted to know your true feelings about this Edward. Now you can search with Al and come home to get your automail fixed." Back in the uniform room Riza had just finished handing Al what Winrey would need and said "Hey Al, Winrey told me the real reason why she wanted to join. She wanted to be closer to Ed to tell him how she felt about him, but Roy meesed that up big time by accepting her like he did." Riza looked at him "Are you ok with her joining. I mean really ok with it?"

"Well, I know Edward doesnt want her to, mainly because he really likes her secretly, but I'm perfectly fine with her joining. But knowing Ed, he probably ruined things and Winry is already on her way home now...." Al said, hanging his head in doubt. He had no idea that what he guessed was actually going down.

Riza sighed "Al Do you think Ed would notice if someone loved him?" she was hoping somehow Ed was near by to hear the conversation. Once home Winery said "I'm back grandma." Pinaco walked in from the kitchen "Winrey. Dear I thought you went to join the military to help the boys, what happened." As Winrey explained what happened Pinaco's face saddened "I thought as much. Edward never did figure out why you get so worked when he gets hurt. I just hope Riza and Al can help him finally see that."

Edward was walking by as he overheard Riza point out the truth about Winry. He busted through the door "What?! Nobody ever told me that she loved me!!!" he said, running super quickly to the nearest phone to call Winry. After a few minutes, he got a response from Pinaco. "Hello? Is Winry there?" he asked with a calm, yet sensitive tone in his voice.

Pinaco answered and said "Oh Edward. Yes she is, but I'm afraid she is in taking a bath dear. Did you want to leave her a messeag?" Winrey sat in the tub soaking wondering why she had never just been blunt and told him the truth. Riza stood with Al in the hall and said "Think he'll do his usual rant?"

"It's hard to say, he probably will though" Al pointed out, sighing at the sight of Edward impatiently tapping his fingers on the counter. "Yeah, just tell her that I called and have her call me back as soon as she gets the chance. Tell her I'm sorry and there's something I need to tell her...." Edward told Pinaco, trying to say the least he has to, while getting the point across that he does care about Winry.

Pinaco sighed and said "Edward if you want to tell Winrey how you feel then just take the next train home, your about due for your check up anyway. Plus I want to see you boys again, its been over a year since you last came home you know."
