Grua was cut several times on her shoulders and chest, but she still held her strength. As she saw Ethan reach the ground, and charge into her from the corner of her eye, she quickly turned around and almost immediately slashed her sword onto Ethan's again. She stood there, panting, as she blocked the sword from reaching her. She then kicked Ethan in the stomach, making him step back, and straightened her sword horizontally (across) at Ethan, it's point aiming directly to his stomach, and rushed forwards to him.

(OOC: Zidane, if you're on, are we out of Geyer Flats?)

Samantha was running alongside Dante, as Jenny was still riding on her back, curiously. "Oh my. You shouldn't fight with this man, he's your brother. Isn't there a way to could solve--?"

He stopped running. "No, its either he dies or hundreds die. The choice is obvious." He turned over to the left. "The tunnels are there. I can't lead you in, for they would strike me at any minute. Stay here until that other human comes back. This may be the last time we meet." He takes his sword, and jumps in a different direction.

Samantha, Jenny and Dante had reached a tunnel. As Jenny slid off her, Samantha looked at Dante, curiously. "The tunnels are there. I can't lead you in, for they would strike me at any minute. Then, as if he had springs on the bottom of his feet, he leaped greatly. Samantha quickly shifted into her human form, and called after him. "Wait!! Where does this tunnel lead?" Jenny watched as Dante leaped, her eyes and mouth growing wide.

"Humans!" He called out, and he kept rising through the air as he leaped. By this time, he had reached over 400 feet. He was above the camp, and this would probably be the end for him. Many demons were there, waiting for orders. Dante gathered as much power as he could get, and became engulfed in a giant flame. He flew straight down at a great speed with his sword in front. This will stop them all. Even if it means my death.... There was a demon in his eyes as he fell. His brother. He was the one instructing them. Perfect target. He was the catalyst in all this. So, he slashed straight through him and blood went everywhere. Shortly afterwards, a giant explosion came from the impact.....

(OOC: O.o Wait, what had just happened, Zidane?)

(I killed my brother and possibly myself with an explosion)

(OOC: Are Samantha and Jenny anywhere around the explosion? If they are...)

Samantha saw a distant explosion erupt. As alarms went off in her head, she started running fast towards the area. Jenny was also startled by it, and also ran beside Samanatha.

(Nay you are not, still at the tunnels.)

The explosion blew back Sam and Jenny bringing them back to the tunnels.

Samantha and Jenny were both blown away by the explosion Dante had triggered, both clueless that it was him. Samantha hit the ground hard on her front side, hurting part of her face, stomach and all. She groaned, and tried to elbow the ground. She looked around the place and saw Jenny not far from where she lay. She was completely motionless. As terrible thoughts came into her mind, Samantha quickly stood up carefully, and rushed over to Jenny. She kneeled down next to her, grabbed her by the shoulders gently, and turned her right side up slowly. "Jenny?" Samantha asked as she looked at Jenny's face. She had a nasty scrape along her right cheek, going up along her forehead too. Seeing Jenny not respond, Samantha was more worried as she looked up. It was dark with only a few fire-lit torches here and there.

Ethan saw the blow coming and deflected the blade before jumping back. He had been trying to think of a way to get rid of this enemy without killing her. Then, the answer came to him. His eyes turned a shining blue. He raised his sword to his chest and spun it like a helicopter propeller. "Foul creature," he said, though he wasn't the only one speaking. He was channeling the energy of all the warriors of his family who had fought selflessly to protect humankind from those who would seek to destroy it. "In the name of the Harte family and all of humanity, I banish thee back to your home forever!" He then moved so quickly that no one would have ever seen him move. The only testament to his attack was the gaping hole in the chest of the Queen of the Vampires. Ethan's eyes returned to normal and he sheathed his blade.

{Wait Peryite (Anonymous), you're saying that Ethan hit Grua in the chest? If not, explain please...}

As Grua saw Ethan dogde yet another attack, she was beginning to get frustrated. But, she didn't let her emotion take control of her mind, as she held her sword so it points upwards. She stared at him for a while, skimming though her mind for some ideas on how to kill Ethan. She saw Ethan eyes go blue, and squinted her eyes in confusion. She watched as he started to swing his sword all around like a helicopter propeller, and then it hit her what he was about to do. "Foul creature," Ethan said, and Grua noticed another voice speak along with his. Grua decided to attack him to try and stop the signal. She leaped into the air, with her sword aiming down at him. But, before she could land even one, Ethan yelled, "In the name of the Harte family and all of humanity, I banish thee back to your home forever!" As he had increased his sword's speed. Grua felt the strong force, and had stopped moving downwards in no time. She screamed with all her strength, and felt herself feel light. Before she knew it, it all went black for her.

As Grua vanished from existence, Ethan felt his heart lighten. He had now done something, added his own page of history to the Harte legacy. He began to unchain the slaves and led them from the house back to Geyer Flats. He saw that some had weapons, and he wondered how they got them. Ethan walked to the area that served as the entrance to Geyer Flats and leaned against the wall. He would need to rest before continuing his quest.

Samantha was stuck; not only did she have an unconscious friend in need, but also they were both inside some tunnel, now. She didn't really understand what Dante had tried to tell them earlier, and she didn't know the exit out of Geyer Flats. After looking like a smashed potato on the ground, thinking over and over what to do, Samantha finally gave up. She stood up, and walked to the exit of the tunnel. Sticking her head out, she could see that it was all dark outside, and the moon was high in the sky. She was trying to search for the cause of the explosion, or any victims of it. But now it was night time, and her eyes couldn't see very far, because of all the sand lying everywhere.
Another thought popped into her mind, as she was about to walk back to Jenny. She wondered if Ethan had defeated her grandmother, the only family she had. But mostly, she feared that Ethan had been defeated by her grandma's evil ways. A sudden groan pulled her out of her thoughts. Samantha turned around quickly and saw Jenny moving a bit. She smiled, and rushed over to her. "Jen, are you ok?", she asked, as she bent down next to Jenny. Jenny was squirming on the ground, trying to sit herself up. Samantha grabbed her hand, and pulled. While having the other on Jenny's back.

Ethan stood up, having regained his strength. He walked into Geyer Flats, maneauvering the tunnels easily. The maze-like tunnels would never confuse him, for he had the whole place mapped out in his head. He entered the tunnel and saw Samantha and an unconscious Jenny on the floor. "Thank God you two are still alive." He approached them and bent down over Jenny. "Shock-induced coma," he said. He picked her up and slung her over his shoulder. "She'll awaken soon." He turned to Samantha and smiled. "I guess you had some problems locating the village. Follow me." He turned and began to walk off.

Samantha smiled when she saw Ethan walk into the tunnel. She quickly stood up, and had to fight the temptation of hugging him. She watched him lift Jenny onto his shoulder, and walk off. She quickly walked beside him. She looked at him, and said, "I'm surprised we actually made it. You sure you know this place?"

"It's hard not to know a place you created yourself. I dug these tunnels with a pickaxe for years. All in preparation for the day I would heed my family's calling and return this world to what my ancestor's lived in." He rounded a corner. "If you're wondering about your grandmother, I didn't kill her. I banished her from the mortal plain forever." He moved through the tunnels and entered the last one that would lead to hs village. "Up ahead is the place I call home, for now."

Samantha continued to walk beside him, and rounded the corner along with him. She looked at him in amazement. "So, you've always stuck to the goal of defeating the creatures here? Whoa...", she smiled. She looked down at the sand she was stepping on. "If you're wondering about your grandmother, I didn't kill her. I banished her from the mortal plain forever." Samantha heard Ethan say, and her mood dropped a bit. She looked up at him, and asked, "Exactly where is she?" She did noted that Grua was evil, but Samantha had a heart too big to not worry about her.

"She's returned to whichever Hell spawned her. Her equipment for next world communication is back at her house if you ever wish to talk to her. Though you'll probably just get an earful." He entered the village. Several buildings made of brick had been built underground. In the center of the town was Ethan's home, as he was the designated mayor of this underground world. He entered the house and laid Jenny down on the bed. He turned to Samantha. "You should stay here and look after her. I've got some things to take care of in the town." He left the house and headed for the bell. After ringing it, several slaves with weapons appeared and he invited them to follow him, which they did.
