Ethan saw the utter hope in her eyes, and his heart shined. He kept up the smile. "Fear not, Samantha. You really are in my arms, and I really do love you. Did you forget I could read your mind?" He said the last thing in a jest. He had known how desperately she wanted all this to be true. He was happy that it was reality as well. He looked up and spotted an older man dancing with his wife. The man gave him a nod and a smile. He probably saw a little of himself and his wife in the young couple, like looking through a scrapbook. He saw another man glaring at him. The man was dancing with a woman, so it wasn't jealousy. Most likely, he believed Ethan a player, and thought he was just using these girls to show off. Obviously, that was not Ethan's style. He looked into Samantha's eyes, leaned down, and gave her a short kiss on the lips. "That real enough for you?" He asked with his most charming smile. The armor was starting to make him sweat, and he couldn't wait to get home and change out of it, after a satisfying dance.
