Alexis blinked. He was very perceptive. She gave him a small smile.
"Actually. You smell different. You look human, even smell a bit like one, but I smell demon, too...it's rather odd, you see. I've never encountered this before and it's just thrown me off a tad!"
She giggled loudly, grinning crookedly.
"And my name's Alexis. Can call me Lex, Lexi, or Lexis, too. That's much better than miss!"
Alexis rested her elbows on the bar counter, holding her head in her hands. He was so polite, a real treasure in a bar like her's. Every 'man' she met was a sexist pig, usually. She enjoyed talking to someone half-way normal.

Terra’s eyes land on a vampire in the back of the room sitting alone and looking rather distraught. Perfect. She takes the bottle and glass wandering toward the tasty male, not in looks per say. He was very drab looking, almost as if he had come to his wits end. “Hello, sailor. Mind if I join you?” she holds up the rum bottle as an offering.
“Leave me alone you distasteful wench. You and your kind make me sick.” he spat, his mouth is dry from the lack of blood to drink. His face is shallow, his eyes sunken slightly due to the need to feed. He dismisses her with a wave of his hand.
Terra turns on the ball of her foot and walks away, he was not as plump as she had first thought. Poor thing must be going through some punishment of some sort, the vampire still had an air of royalty about him despite his lack of strength. No, she would wait on that one. He had no spice. And flavor is what she is looking for.

Seeing that she was starting to sleep it off, Ethan picked her up and carried her to an unoccupied booth. "There's no cover, but you're probably too out of it to realize that anyway." He returned to his seat at the bar.

Leonard took a small sip of the wine. It had very good flavor. "My name is Leonard. And actually, I'm neither human or demon. I'm both. Half human, half demon. Very rare, Lexi." He looked at his drink. He was not used to talking to anyone, but he felt no threat from her. She was human after all. He relaxed a bit. "Do you like being here mi-, Lexi?"

I'm one of the few humans that can get away with bossing demons, vampires, and werewolves around. Without me, no liquor. But do I like how I got to where I am now. How I was place in the situation. No. Not at all, Leonard."
Lexi pulled at the collar around her neck, with it's small leather strap hanging down. It remained there as a reminder, mostly. She was 'well-behaved', after all. They didn't need to lock her up every night.

Ethan turned to the bar and rested his head in his hands. Another two hours and it was back to work. Several hours of breaking rocks with a damn pickaxe for a fat moron vampire named Snier. He promised himself that he would one day send that pickaxe into his face. Without warning, he emitted a red aura. Oh, shit, he thought, smothering it. Too close. He sighed.

Leonard closed in so only Lexi could hear what he was about to say next. "Would you like to leave this placeand go live far away from here? Be free?" As a being who hates creatures others than humans, it felt like his mission to try and help the humans who needed it.

Her friend enters with a wide grin on his face, his wings twitching with excitement. Leaning close to her ear, ignoring the frowns from the other patrons. The fire demons are looked down upon from the other dominate races because of their strange taste in meat. A lot of them call them flying rats or vultures, for they are normally found around the dead. They did not start this way, of course. The vampires over took their race just like they did with humans, and every other race in their path. The fire demons found a place among the new order.
“I found something you will be most happy to see.” he takes the bottle of rum and downs most of it before taking her hand and leading her out of the bar.

Twilight had noticed the human enter the bar. Normally she would'nt have paid any attention but something was differnt about this one. She had overheard his name, Ethan. She watched without too much intrest at first until he left and came back with the scent of wolf blood following him. "Hmmm maybe he may have some worth." She stood movng towards the bar and sat net to him. She was carefull having not missed the aura around him. She smiled slightly. "Hey I'm Twilight."

Ethan turned to the new female sitting next to him. She was a vampire, as the fangs were a dead giveaway. All the same, she was quite pretty, and his warrior instincts told him she meant no harm. Perhaps the most intriguing thing about her was the red eyes, the same color as his. Well, sometims. When he was calm, his eyes were brown. They were his eye color aquired at age one. But when he lost it, his eyes turned red and he could swear he could see a burning fire behind them when he looked in the mirror one night. He attributed this to the exposure to werewolf, vampire, and demon blood while killing them. He considered them aquired characteristics.
"Well, hello, there. The name's Ethan Harte. I'd love to stay and chat with you, but I have to get to work. I'll be back tonight, and maybe we'll speak then." He got up and left the bar.

Samantha became conscious again, only to notice that the surface she was lyin on was soft. Unlike the rough surface of the bar counter, she figured. She opened her eyes, and blinked. She realized that she was lying on a bed. She smiled, and shifted to her other side comfortably, but was interrupted by a sudden sharp pain in her forehead. As she sat up lazily, she placed her hand on her forehead. She stood up from the bed, and headed down the stairs, and into the bar.

Ethan went to the mine he worked in alongside fifty other humans. Snier was there, occasionally whipping a human he felt was going too slow. Five other vampires were there with swords to quell any uprising. A servant vampire shackled him and handed him a pickaxe. Ethan rose it above his head and drove it into the rocks. He was the mine's best worker, so he was kept unshackled at night. Through his sweat, he saw Snier's greedy face. Keep smiling, fat boy, he thought, driving the axe deep into the rocks. But one day, I'll show you the true strength of humans.

As he drove past the rocks, he remembered something his grandfather had told him as a boy. "Ethan, the day wil come when you'll be the only one who can continue this family's crusade. No matter what happens, never lose your drive. Keep fighting until the bitter end." Ethan smiled at the memory. And he had walked the walk, as well. Ethan promised himself he would lead the revolution against human slavery. His eyes hardened and turned red for just a fleeting of a second. Even if I have to do it alone. He smashed a whole wall with one swing, and gold ore came pouring out.
