Hi there

I'm 29 and from Scotland
I'm new to playing online and have been out of roleplaying for a few years, but a recent purchase of Dark Heresy has sparked interest again.
I've played WFRP (old version), Werewolf, Vampire, Traveller, Rifts, Shadowrun and a few others.
Looking to get into Warhammer and Dark Heresy primarily but am game for anything.

I can't play at weekends unfortunately but can play weeknights and sunday nights, any help with a game or advice in general will be greatly appreciated

Thanks for listening great site by the way :)

I've played Vampire and Werewolf before. Currently DM'ing my own story right now, and also in another Werewolf and Vampire mixed one and also DND(yes, I'm a nerd(but I'm beautiful!)). Lol. Online though, I'm in for anything really. My favorite being either futuristic or fantasy.

But yea, just look around man, your sure to find something. I'd say look in the OOC part first, as those are Roleplays in the making. Or just look out on the Recent Thread section.

Hope ya have fun :)

Welcome to RolePlayGateway. ^___^

Hope you enjoy you have a great time here.

A good place to start is the Rules and Regulations, just so you know everything. And then after that, either the Chat or the Help forums are a good place to start.

Another good place to start also, is the Out of Character (OOC) forum to look for roleplay's that you might be interested in. Ones that you are, the GM's (creators), will probably have a set of rules to follow to join up. Following them and posting up a character profile to join it's then just a case of waiting to hear back to see if you are accepted. Or, if you have your own idea, post it up to see if anyone is interested. A good place to post to see if anyone may be interested in your idea before you post in the OOC is the Interest Check.

So, I hope this small guide gives you a few starting places, and again, welcome to the site. Have fun. Feel free to contact me or one of the other moderators if you need a help in hand at all.

Hey, welcome to RoleplayGateway. The people here are pretty nice if you're on their good side.

Like Criminal said, you should look for roleplays to join in the OOC section because most roleplays have their OOC and IC chat split into two different threads. Most importantly, have fun, be original, and remember. Roleplaying is about assuming the role of somebody else, not simply impersonating. :D

RolePlayGateway is a site built by a couple roleplayers who wanted to give a little something back to the roleplay community. The site has no intention of earning any profit, and is paid for out of their own pockets.

If you appreciate what they do, feel free to donate your spare change to help feed them on the weekends. After selecting the amount you want to donate from the menu, you can continue by clicking on PayPal logo.
