The world is a dark, corrupt, and dismal place... but the inhabitants don't seem to mind. The humans who occupy the Earth are completely content with the way things are, having no drive to restore balance but the Heavens are not pleased at this development. One day, when an innocent who was chosen to be a guardian of a divine weapon at birth starts to come into their power, the Heavens decide that change is needed, thus waking the other six divine weapons -The Sword, Staff, Whip, Katars, Crossbow, and Axe- from their deep slumber.
Supposedly "good" by default, these weapons are to guide this innocent in the right direction, seeing as the innocent has the power to alter the world. Sad to say, not all of the veteran divine weapons had the same thought in mind. Three out of the six decided that the world was perfect the way it was and once they set out, the three mysteriously separated themselves from the others and sought to find this innocent themselves.
No one knows what this innocent looks like. All they know is that they bear the marking of the bow and arrow somewhere on their body so in order to find out who they are, they must search for the marking.
Five months. The divine weapons have five months to: locate this innocent, sway them to either restore balance or keep the world the way it is, and bring them to the place that governs the world and those in it. If they do not, humanity (what civility remains among mankind) will cease to exist; giving rise to evil and allowing terrible things to run rampant.
Now, the race between what is considered "good" and "evil" begins. Who will reign supreme? Will the Earth be restored to its former glory? Or become a terrible place that no word can describe...

What has been revealed so far...
The World was a beautiful and thriving place, with many beautiful people in it.
Harmony, kindness, and love among the humans wasn't uncommon and everyone usually got along.
Everything was as it should be.
As they say though, nothing lasts forever.
One day, an unexplainable desire to hate, steal, and kill filled everyone's hearts, giving rise to a world void of balance between "good" and "evil", “right” and “wrong”. Pure chaos was seemingly favored and strangely, many were content with this alteration in life.
Those who accepted this change were humans that didn't question things though.
These humans were the type to accept whatever came their way and kept their mouth shut, figuring it was better to go with the flow than resist it. Though not all humans were affected by this -their beliefs, will, etc. stronger than the rest- they could do nothing but watch the world around them fall to pieces.
In this world, magic is very rare, the power to control an element mainly possessed by the guardians themselves. It was highly unlikely for a person to be magic-capable but there was still that small percentage lingering about. Humans often believed that the divine weapons were merely a legend and a fairy tale to tell to their children. To the Heavens this was a good thing. In their eyes, only divine beings should be able to wield such a power lest there be more deaths and whatnot running amuck their “perfect” world.
This mentality was only adopted by the Heavens because of a certain war that had broken out ages ago, the conflict between the Heavenly forces and magic users nearly wiping out the existence of life. The “Gifted”, as magic-users were called, did not like the fact that the Heavens had placed restrictions on their abilities, believing that since magic was a gift given to them, it should be used however they wanted to. So they planned a rebellion and sought to break free from the limitations that were placed on them. Into battle, seven leaders brought with them a; Sword, Staff, Whip, Katars, Crossbow, Axe, and finally a Bow with Arrows.
This was also the reason the guardians of the divine weapons came into existence. As the Heavenly beings began to perish, the survivors conjured up the last of their strength as the leaders of the “Gifted” drew near and invested their magic into bringing their weapons of choice to life, equally shocking and stunning the leaders.
With the weapons came a swift end to the war.
Three of the leaders managed to escape though this wasn’t the Heavens main concern at the time. They still needed to tend to the issue of other rebellious “Gifted” people running around. It was then that the Heavens decided that the people weren’t capable of handling such power and the very next day, extracted the essence of magic from as many humans as they could.
Things went back to normal for a while… before more conflict broke out. This time though, some of the remaining “Gifted” started turning against those who were normal. Once the Heavens caught onto this, they sent the weapons down to Earth to investigate. What they discovered did not come as a surprise though. The three who had managed to escape were still bitter towards the greater beings and retaliated by taking their anger out on those who were not able to defend themselves. Battle took place once again, but this time the odds of success were not in the rebels favor.
The weapons were able to incapacitate the three soon after and the Heavenly beings rejoiced. Many humans who had witnessed this had gained respect for the weapons and dubbed them the “Divine Guardian Weapons” because they were, essentially, divine and they had guarded many lives.
From that day, the Heavens decided to bring another guardian to life, though this time, it would be one that would watch over the humans, a second eye for the Heavenly beings when they had no time to ensure that the people were behaving as they should.
Thus, the Scythe was born.
Strange, though fitting, it viewed everything as equal and sided with no one. The Heavenly beings didn’t mind though, deciding that having something neutral would probably end up being best for the people.
Years passed by and gradually, the Heavens as well as people recovered from their losses. Though a time of peace came once again, one should remember that indeed nothing lasts forever.
Something disturbed the Heavens greatly. A spirit who was destined to join them in their realm told them that one day, if one of the weapons should fall, the world would suffer over its loss by being plagued with dissonance once more until the next guardian in line came into their powers. It would be up to this Innocent to decide what path to tread down; either fix the world or leave it the way it is. What bothered the Heavenly beings was not this, but the fact that this Innocent would bear a power that they would have no control over.
Paranoia struck the Heavenly beings and they contemplated bringing the weapons back up into their realm for good until needed again, seeing as how the Heavens allowed them to live among the humans in all their glory. Before they were able to make their decision, their worst fear happened...
