Story

The story of the Zodiac has been told from generation to generation. Of all the animals traveling to the banquet, but thanks to the sly rat, the cat was tricked into not coming the right day. Now the cat has been cast aside from the Zodiac. Now there is a family called the Sohmas who have had a curse put on them. Whenever they hug the oppisite sex they transform into a Zodiac and one into a cat.

All the old Zodiac members from the orginal Fruit Basket have died and new members have been chosen

Personality: Thanks to the Zodiac members calling her a monster and many other things she is very shy and dosn't talk much.
Bio: Her mother died giving birth to her and up until last year her father beat her from which she has scars from on her arms the she keeps wrapped up so no one will see. Thanks to a sickness her father died and she now lives with the dog.

Personality: Akino is dependable and punctual, and is often demanding that others be the same. She is very hardworking for her goals, but if something doesn’t interest her there is no way you can get her to do it. She is also incredibly obstinate.

Bio: She went to an all-girl’s school for most of her life, but for her final year she was transferred into a co-ed school. She always gets crushes on all the cute guys, but she isn’t shy about it at all. People think she is strange because she can really like someone but rejects them when they ask her out. They don’t know it is because of the Sohma curse.

Homelife: Her parents are very accepting people, they basically have the whole "world peace, love everybody and everything despite our differences" thing going on. Akino finds them annoying at times, but loves them lots because they are good people.

Personality: quiet, smart, meant at times, and is unsocial
Bio: Severus lived with his family while he never got attention, his baby brother did, he found out he has gth epower to erase minds (Like Hatori) and made his parents and brother forget him and moved to Sohma estate where he became a docter, moved out and got his own house near a lake, where he invited the cat to live, he has always been gay but doesn't flash it out, he knows he can't touch girls, so he became gay for their safty.

question.... what's the point of them being a Zodiac? besides the hug thing. do they retain a certain quality of that animal or transform into that animal? if not, i don't see how it would be all that bad.

ooooooooo the bad thing is, you get no love, the other bad thing is that you have at times certain qualities, and when you are emotion high you get animal ears (though NO ONE SEE THEM!) and animals of your zodiac come to you at bad times......

Personality: Very shy in big crowds but very friendly around her family. She also tends to be clingy, but in a cute way. She is also lighthearted and generous but can be somewhat of a cry baby.
Bio: Misaki's father passed away when she was very young so she lived with her mother for many years. Her mother tried to teach her how to be a proper young lady and succeeded in many ways. Misaki always looked up to her mom since she was the only authority figure she had around so she was completely beside herself when she died from colon cancer when she was 9. Misaki currently lives in an orphanage until one of her many family members is willing to take her in without minding her curse.
