Jacob glanced at his clock it was 6:00 am in the morning school would start in thirty minutes and he wasn't even prepared.He quickly shot out of the bed and quickly got dressed.The sun hadn't appeared yet so he would be okay if he hurried.He quickly put on a white shirt and black jeans and his favorite pair of black chuck taylors.He hurried up not checking if his shirt was wrinkled or not and he didn't quite care he got teased enough at school so it couldn't get any worse.He quickly opened his window which was on the secound floor of the mansion and jumped out landing on his feet at the soft ground.He began running inhuman speed.The forest around him was bluring as his speed increased.He looked around checking for bear traps and poachers.After the rumor of seeing a pack of wolves nearby all the hunters were looking for them trying to be the first to catch one.

Jacob saw the road had minimum traffic it was a small town after all.He quickly jumped clearing the whole street as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop.He stopped infront of the school doors which were locked.Not even the custodian had arrived yet.Jacob glanced at his watch and only saw it was 6:04 am.He rubed his head in annoyance.

"Early again!"He yelled throwing down his back pack and takeing out his poetry book to read.

He put on his glasses and patted a few wrinkles out of his shirt and pants.

Valissia walked up to the school doors blinking in amazement. "I'm here.....early?" She hadn't slept much the previous night preferring instead to stay up with a novel she had recently found. She had finished it and for reasons beyond her dressed in her favorite shirt and opted for a pair of black heels and deep blue skinny jeans and headed out after carefully lineing her eyes in black. She hadn't been there long when Jacob appeared. She watched his antics with a raised eyebrow before speaking. "You realize most of what you just did was probably uncalled for right?"

Shaking the far away look from her eyes she refocused on what was being said. She often had the habit of thinking over whatever she read for days afer she was done. She ran a hand through her hair keeping it on her neck which felt odd after being motionless all night. "I found a book that held my intrest and ended up reading all night. I guess I hate staying inside so I decided to come here. I mean why not?" Pulling a slim phone from her pockect she checked the time and rolled her eyes. "Ugh I shouldn't even have left until now."

Crescent woke up. His heart beating, head throbbing. He sighed it was only 6:03,"Why me." He said softly, his deep scratchy voice awoken him from any of the sleepiness he had left. He slowly moved his barley clothed body out of the bed, only wearing a pair of black boxer briefs, and a dog tag on a chain around his neck that said Crescent on it with a number on the back. He stretched for a bit, yawned and walked down a long corridor to the showers.

He quickly showered, using his favorite male body wash, that made him feel top dog and lathered his hair. He got out and quickly dried off. He went back to his room. He put on a pair of dark blue jeans, and a tight black short sleeved button down V neck, that showed the muscles in his arms and throughout his body. He wore a small black band on his right hand and a small watch on his left.

He scratched the short prickly stubble on his chin as he looked for his keys, he begun to sniff. He quickly found them under a load of dirty clothes in the corner of his room,"I should have known." He laughed calmly. He walked out of his room, out of the Maison and into his old car, with an apple in his hand."Hello old yeller." He called playfully to her as he got in.

It took him a while to start her up, but he managed. He put in a c.d. from one of his favorite artists, and slowly was on his way to school.

He arrived, though it didn't take him that long to get ready, there still wasn't anyone there. Besides Two people, he sighed he didn't know who they where nor did he care much. He was more concerned with football and managing his grades, then something like getting to know people who he didn't already know. Though why not just get close enough to hear what they where saying, though that could be any distance for him.

He got out his car, and slowly walked toward them. He leaned his back on the wall, and peered over at the boy for a short time. Then he looked away, giving a soft sigh. he looked up at the beautiful morning sky, and gave a slight smile as he saw the moon though very faint.

"Yea i hear you."

Jacob put his hands up to the glass to see if he could see anyone.But all the lights were out and the sun hadn't even rose yet.He dropped his backpack to the ground and walked to the edge of the stairs and looked both ways seeing if he could see anyone ele arrive.But noone was there.Jacob glanced at the new guy who showed up.He didn't like the smell that lingered the man but thought no more on it.

"Looks like we have company."

He slumped down against the wall and sighed.He hated time and time hated him.

Valissia looked up as others began to approach. Rolling her shoulders she grinned sarcastically. "Great I love company." She thought she recognized them but couldn't be sure, she didn't pay more attention then needed to most. Dropping her eyes she looked down to study the black polish on her toe nails and muttered mostly to herself. "Why on earth did I pick heals?"

Crescent's concentration was broken by the sound of the voice of a female, he looked down towards her,"Morning." He said softly, his voice was still low and scratchy, he sniffed in her sent deeply and gave a soft smile,"Well well well. Its a dog eat dog world hm?" He asked her, giving her a wink, his eyes begun to shine just as a dogs would through a window.

He folded his arms as his smile turned into a emotionless look on his face. He looked at the other to from the side of his eye, he sniffed in deeply,"Hm." He hummed softly. Out of curiosity and wonder.

"There is a sonic not to far from here." Crescent said softly moving his attraction over to the boy,"It wouldn't take that long a walk for us to get over to it." Crescent forced a smile,"Maybe we could get acquainted or something." He looked down at his feet 'there's something strange bout those two.' He thought as he walked over to them and tilted his head a bit,"You two comin? All I had was an apple though i have room for seconds."

Val rolled her eyes at the thought of her practicing a catwalk in the woods. "Such an important skill." She felt the sun begin to warm her back and turned toward it knowing the new light would change her eyes from pale blue to silver. She glanced briefly over her shouler one eye turning the darked color again being hidden from the light. "Almost as important of learning to tell time maybe?" She stood when one of the other students approached turning fully from the riseing sun. "Even being late would be better then going hungry."

Crescent gave a soft laughed turning to her,"I already sniffed them out. As they did us. It's not hard to smell something dead from something alive."Crescent tilted his head, and folded his arms. He snickered a little,"Though they are just as precious as humans. Though humans taste more irony and sweet."

He turned his head back to the boy,"Names Crescent." He smiled, nodding his head kindly, he walked over a little closer to the boy and looked down at him,"Whats that scent I smell on you? Its hot." Crescent said with a wide grin on his face, he sounded like he was joking, though he wasn't sure on the inside.

Val glared at Jacob sticking out her own tongue before spinning on one heel. "I'm amazing at both..but I'm better at skipping." Her quick whirl moved the air around her and she picked up a scent that sent and odd feeling over her skin. Ignoring it she began heading down the stairs eyes on the ground as if to keep her balance.

Valissia was careful to maintain a blank face as she received the news. She responded in the same manner as she went to stand by Jacob. "I was begining to think so. How did we not pick up on it before?" She linked her fingers behinde her neck as the muscles there tensed from previous soreness and tension now. Though she appeared calm.

"huh." Crescent said softly feeling slightly saddened,"We'll I guess we'll have a rain check then?" Crescent backed away a little with his hands in his pockets,"Yeah. Maybe some other time." He turned around and walked back to the wall, and soaked in the sun, waiting for his friends to get to school.
