She was surprised that hit him. She knew he was going to dodge out of the way. Maybe he was getting tired? Hmm...
She saw as his shirt tore up from the attack and couldn't help but smile. She waited a bit to see what he was going to do next, and was shocked by what she saw.
He was actually going to let her breath? Well, that was rather nice of him. It appeared that he was charging up energy for a large attack, so she decided to do the same thing. She forced herself to stand up straight. She hurt like hell.
Her hair was a mess, the front part was starting to get matted to her forehead from the sweat and blood. She wasn't sweating from getting tired, it was just that her stupid mask had prevented her from breathing correctly and her injured lung wasn't helping. She shifted her weight slightly so that her left foot slid back, she made sure her right foot was set firmly on the ground before she began charging up power. She held both hands out on the sides of her body, palms open and facing Lewis. First small static charges flickered in the palm of both of her hands. The energy began to grow more rapidly as it flickered about her hands and swirled around, forming into orbs of photon energy. Static lightning began running up her arms all the way up to about her elbows as her power grew. As she took in more energy the static began jumping wildly around her in spurts of electric power. She had time to realize that Lewis' powers looked a lot more refined than her own. It annoyed her.

She was now breathing hard from the concentration the whole thing took as she kept her powers in check while at the same time storing up more energy. As soon as she felt she was ready she spoke up. "Alright, Lewis... Don't hold back. Give me your best shot!"

That breather hit a spot. His clavicle definitely wasn't broken, and at his leisure, Lewis would be able to use his left arm in whatever remained of this duel. Four, maybe five meters away from the woman, he was at a healthy distance to attempt a risky maneuver. Index and middle finger pointed outwards, each one overlapped his vision of each of Glory's shoulders. In a moment, two beams, one from each finger, fired out looking to pierce each shoulder. Their split meant that only half the energy went to each beam, enough to easily pierce the skin on both sides if she weren't protected. Given the circumstances, it'd likely pierce the suit going in and the energy remaining inside Glory, remaining still as two spheres.

Prior to this, she'd beckoned him in a sportsmanly manner to strike. Her charge of electricity didn't disconcert him, but did attract the idea that she had a good deal of control over her power. This wasn't a small time fight anymore, it seemed. Kind of a shame if it ends like this...

OOC: Kay, Safi and I were talking and he pointed out some flaws with my last post. I'm editing it to fix it. :)

That was his best shot? Glory was a bit disappointed. It was like the last shot he did, but now with two beams. She had been toying with Lewis for awhile now, she was starting to get tired. He had put up a good fight, but now she was starting to get bored. Well, if that was his best... I did try to warn him to come peacefully...

He had hurt her lung, but she wasn't any where near death. A few hours in one of Hydra corp's vita-tanks and she would be better. "I'll stop playing around now. Time to get serious."
Now she decided to show him her best. Well, a small amount of it anyways...
He was now going to witness Glory's power in all its splendor.
All her attacks leading up to this one were attacks to try and subdue Lewis: EMP waves, small lasers to stun him, a punch to disable him, nothing to kill him. Glory didn't like killing people, but now she saw it wasn't really going to end any other way. But then again, he did take that reviver pill. Besides, she may now need a new lung cloned to replace the old one if the damage was too bad. She wondered just how much his pill could revive.
Lets find out, shall we?

"Nice shot. Try this!" She lifted her hands and shot two beams, one from each hand to counter his attack. Her plasma beam shot off and made contact with Lewis’ beam, creating a brilliant spark of light as the two powers collided. Glory’s own powers repulsing his away. She fed it a bit more energy to try and force his psychic beam back into his own hands with her plasma beam, shooting small bursts of energy to keep trying to knock it back at him.

With the split beam heading for its mark, Lewis let it fly, retreating with slightly crouched steps to his direct back. ] By now, he expected the sensitive to dodge or deflect the beams in some way. Thus far, Lewis' fighting style had grown somewhat predictable, at the very least. It's time to pull out the big ones. This has been bullshit from the beginning... In the several minutes they'd been scuffling, he'd managed to either graze her lung, or strike near its vicinity, as well as knock her back onto a building. Neither a worthy feat in his eyes. Gaunt features evident, his eyes posed themselves over Glory with anticipation. It seemed she'd begun to mimic his own style, emulating a beam towards each of his own.

They were quickly enveloped, and overcome a second later, pushing both towards him due to his own energy having been split amongst them. His distance had grown a mere two meters, and the building was now to his back just three meters away. Given the two's energies did not explode this time when coming into contact, he realized what to do. With subtle movements of his hands, his arms remained still: the telekinetic energy inside her own beams simply split, pushing the electric energy into the air, dispersing it as a static wave. The air in front of Lewis grew distorted from this effect, as small, purple particles floated about in the air. After letting them hover for a moment, they drew into both gloves with tremendous speed, turning their color medium purple, with a small deal of the energy dissipating in the attempt.

She showed mastery of her power in comparison to her loss of energy from lack of concentration earlier on. Now dubbed a threat, Lewis opted not to taunt - his life wasn't at stake for the time being, but his pride was sometimes bigger than it. His pride didn't have reviver pills, at least. In a long blink of an eye, the gloves squealed, their banshee's cry disturbing the stillness, the stagnant fight thus far. The distortion was now focused mostly around his hands as opposed to his body, with his fingers growing blurry to most that saw him. He eyed the target down: not menacing, not intimidating, merely calculating... The bony mutant branded a pair of dark byzantium gloves, their opaque glow a sickening call to battle. "May the last one standing win."

Glory looked on with dazzled eyes at the light show their powers were creating. It was like fire works and a light show combined into one. Glory may have had control over her powers, but she was much better at close combat rather than long range fire fights. She wanted to attempt to close the distance once more by charging him, but the last time she had tried that things didn't end well.
He had dispersed her powers, and now it looked like perhaps he had absorbed them?
His gloves changed color again. Another trick. Oh great, what is he going to do next?
She didn't know what to expect, so she decided to play it safe. She started charging energy again for her next attack. As the energy grew, again it began popping and growing around her arms. She didn't have to focus her powers to her arms, she could shoot it in any direction around her, but she chose to focus it there to keep things simple. She thought about that for a moment. Perhaps maybe she should take the battle in another direction?

If she ran forward quickly she wouldn't get far with her hurt lung, it was starting to wear her down and her movements would be limited. So she decided to try something else.
Glory was now wishing she had brought a VBS stim pack with her to give her a small boost of energy. She wondered if his reviver pill could fix her injured lung? If push came to shove, she could always pop the pill; assuming it didn't kill her...

She now stood completely upright, no fighting stance. She raised her right hand in the air above her head, palm open and facing skyward. She kept the other one aimed at the ground.
"Indeed. May the last one standing win..."

OOC: Having some issues with the site. Hopefully this one won't get swallowed by the error message too...

He winced. Trying to tense his shoulder was a dumb move, but he was testing the waters for what he'd do next. Lewis subtly kept both hands lifted, ready to shoot them (and his own energy) at whatever direction the sensitive fired. The crackling of lightning in her arms ticked in his ears, rhythmically beating, quicker each time - his own brow began to move with it, though he stopped it by blinking forcefully. What should I be doing... We'll both expend ourselves without doing jack if we keep this up. Hmm.

Bending forward slightly, he took heed of the details behind Glory's charge. Her hands adopted an awkward position, with one above her head and the other on the ground. He'd refrained from aiming directly at her out of custom, and to some extent education, but in a fight to the (cheating of) death, there was simply no window for errors. I got it. Whatever fraction of time it took her to get in place once more would be his advantage, however slight it may be. With a jerk of his arms forward, dark byzantium specs fused with each other in unmeasurable speed, all the while moving towards Glory. The energy danced as a miasma of telekinetic energy, until its speed increased midway, at which point it began to compress against itself, forming a tightly packed sphere with the measurements of a baseball or so: it described a curve, then another, and a third, at this point the sphere was rising from the height of the sensitive's waist and aimed to rise onto the general area of her lung. If it managed to collide, the sheer pressure laid onto the energy would cause it to explode in a contained area on contact, enough to easily burst into the insides of an average person.

I got it.

OOC: My Internet is acting up too. It has problems staying connected...
Sorry if her "attacks" seem ridiculous. I'm using our little battle as a "test subject" to write out all the scenarios I see in my head to help better understand EM radiation and what you can do with it.
EDIT: Hmm, I'm not happy with my post. Making a few minor edits to make it easier to understand.

Glory only had time to smirk as the ball of dark matter came towards her. She had seen something similar to this before a long time ago, and because of this, she knew exactly how to counter it. Glory's tactic was simple, observe, and then counter. What she was going to do was turn his own power against him.
How? Well, it was all quite complex, but looking at it would be very simple. The first thing she did was clench her hand tight, the one that was up in the air, and let the power flow through her body, and outwards. The effect looked like her hand was struck by a bolt of lightning that sent a shock wave outwards around her. The moment her power was set free both her arms clenched and bent to her sides and she let out a scream of pure agony as every muscle in her body constricted from the surge of power. There was a thick vein in her neck that could be seen popping out as the current ran through her body and converted into force. Her back arched and her head snapped back as she howled towards the sky. Her legs straining to stay upright.
The force field came up as fast as it took her to clench her fist to release the energy.
The field around her popped and sizzled as it stayed contained in its small ten foot orb, rotating around her at an extremely fast speed to keep the force field going.

The reason Glory HAS to wear the suit is not only to protect her from outside damage, but also from harming herself. It was very rare that a sensitive was immune to their own powers. Having said that, every single time Glory uses her own ability, it pains her to do so. The suit helps to channel her powers around her body, instead of it flowing straight through. Even with the suit on though, it still hurts.

Glory had to shoot her power out in a wave the way she did because she needed to create an electromagnetic force field around herself. The field was made of pure magnetic force. Imagine anything coming towards her was a north magenet, and the force field around her was also a north magnet. Now imagine that the object in question was coming towards her at an extremely fast speed, the magnet would stop the object, repelling it backwards as the energy came it contact with it, and send it flying back the way it came. That was what she was doing, and that was why she had to shoot the wave off. It looked similar to the EMP she had shot off earlier but this time it was a continuous surge of energy to make sure nothing could pass through the field. The wave of energy didn't go far, perhaps ten feet around her in a circle.

The orb Lewis shot resembled to be some kind of a black hole, dark matter, or a gravity ball that would cause the target to implode upon impact. The force from the ball's momentum was creating vibrations, and those vibrations were creating energy, it was this energy that she targeted to repulse and manipulate.
Not the orb itself, but the vacuum of energy that surrounded the ball. She was using the ball's own momentum and energy to turn it back the way it came, which just so happened to be Lewis...
As the ball came towards her it got caught in the field, spinning around her once like a comet, and then all of that force was sent flying right back out at twice the speed.

Glory's hair was now a giant frizz ball, and her skin was being charred from the static force jumping around her. Because she was naturally stronger than the average human though, it would take a lot more then this in order for the effects to actually visibly appear. Even so, if she kept it up she was going to probably suffer second degree burns from her own attack...
