Storyline
Since the beginning many people of the World of Weyward have wondered about the power of Alchemy which shaped the world. The power was locked
away and seperated amongst four elemental Clans. Adepts(people who are able to use Psynergy) of each clan is responsible for protecting their assigned lighthouse.

A group of Adepts, known as The Elements, have gone to Vale in search of stealing the 4 Elemental Stars (Gems of its matching color)
(Fire, Water, Wind & Earth)
There mission is to try and light the 4 Elemental Lighthouses belonging to each of the Clans and try to unleash the power
of the Golden Sun/Alchemy on top of Mt. Alchemy and harness its power and conquer all of Weyward.

Towns and Important Locations (Other towns/hometowns may be created or introduced. Not all Adepts must come from these specific towns. They may lie near the towns)
Imil - Home of all Mercury Clan Members. North of the town is the entrance to the Mercury Lighthouse
Prox - Home of all Mars Clan Members. The Entrance to the Mars Lighthouse lies someplace in Prox
Lalivelo - Home of all Venus Clan Members. South of the village lies the Venus Lighthouse
Contigo - Home of all Jupiter Clan Members. The entrance to the Jupiter lighthouse is near the town of Contigo
Vale - is the town near Mt. Alchemy and Sol Sanctum
Mt. Alchemy - Where the Golden Sun Will gather at.
Sol Sanctum - Temple where the 4 Elemental Stars are

Things to know
The Adepts known as the Elementals are Evil. This group consists of adepts from all four clans.
You do not have to be apart of the Elementals to be after the Elemental Stars.
If you choose to not be evil you may protect the Lighthouses of your Clan or Chase after the Elementals.
You may be a lone Adept trying to save the world or be apart of a group. You are not limited to anything really.
The Elemental Stars are located within Sol Sanctum which is a temple north of Vale.
Each Elemental Light house can only be lit when someone throws the matching Elemental Star into the giant hole on top of each light house.
When this is done a Huge Ball of light(Representing the Clans Color) will hover over the lighthouse until all four are lit. When all four
lighthouses are lit the lights will gather on top of Mt. Alchemy into a Golden Sun.
You May Not enter a Lighthouse until you have a member of that respective Lighthouses Clan with you.
Psynergy is basically the same as magic
Venus Psynergy revolves around manipulation of Nature - plants and the earth.
Mars Psynergy revolves around control of fire, heat, and lava.
Jupiter Psynergy is based on the powers of wind and lightning.
Mercury Psynergy concerns the control of water and ice.
Through out Weyward lie many Djinn. Djinn are little creatures that can aid in Battle. With a Djinn a special summon/or your special/finisher may be performed.
Finishers may be customized however you like it. To get one you must encounter and Capture one of the respectives clan Djinn.

"Eeeeek!" A sharp scream split the quiet town of vale to pieces. The shriek came from a young female adult, about thirty-two years of age, with a young male, not even an adult yet, standing above her.

"You are NOT my mother!" the male said with a harsh tone before glancing back upon her frail body. "Do NOT act like it." The blood-red ax-blade glistened in the light, and almost shuddered as if wanting blood. The uniquely-shaped angle of the blade pointed out the obvious, it was a rare object. The demonic aura that embraced it gave the feeling of the deep curse which radiated from Brock's innermost soul.

"This whole village! It's nothing but a utter lie," he yelled. As he did the earth near his feet quaked and split, rising and falling with great destructive force. The right side of the inn splintered and the owner instinctively warned all people to escape before running to see what the cause of this tremor was.

"Bro-!" As he rounded the corner and caught the slightest glimpse of the horrific sight which was Brock a spire of solid rock was sent through his torso and a splash of blood was thrust about on the ground. The evil taint that surrounded his body grew ever larger, and the potent Quake psynergy that was being unleashed grew slower and quieter. The young lady was beyond dead, the ants were already nibbling on her corpse as the blood spilled freely from the decapitated body.

"I will light the houses this time! I will reawaken mans greatest power! The Lighthouses will shine forever more! Lets go, Tremor!" With a shake of his head he twisted his body in a semi-circle before walking, slowly, away from the devastated area before stopping at the entrance.

"If any of you try to stop me from fulfilling the prophecy of mans golden age, you too will die..." He stopped, and waited to see if anybody dared to oppose his quest to light the lighthouse beacons.

Bryant walked up towards the entrance of Vale, only to find the town in ruins. It seemed like some kind of massive earthquake had hit the town, which was not anywhere far from the truth. At the gate stood a man clad mostly in brown, with an intimidating look about him and a dark taint surrounding him.

I wonder if he's responsible for this, Bryant thought to himself. Then he spoke up. "Hey there pal, did you do this?" he said with a slight smirk behind his black scarf. "It certainly doesn't seem like somthing nice to do. Why'd you do it, buddy? Got a grudge against these people?" Then Bryant shifted position, holding his DarkWind Scythe before him in a battle stance. "Or are you just looking for a challenge, and you found none here? If that's the case, I'd be happy to ablige you."

Wakes up as he hears some kids laughing playing outside. Lays on his bed looking up at the ceiling thinking. He sits up on his bed as he catches a glimpse of the Mercury lighthouse from the window next to his bed. Stares at the lighthouse.

Goes into a flashback of what his dad had told him when he was a little kid. "Son, one day when I am gone, you will be one of the few Mercury protectors of this lighthouse" they take a walk around the lighthouse. "Just think, one day you will take my spot and join some of the Mercury elite". They sit infront of the lighthouse looking up at it. "Daddy, whats the meaning of the lighthouse?" He looks up as his dad as he continues to look up at the lighthouse. "The elders will tell you all about it when you grow up son, they expect alot out of you my boy".

Snaps out of it as he sees a snow ball come at him from one of the kids. The ball flies past him as it goes into his room and lands on top of the miniature model of the Mercury Lighthouse. "Great, just another thing to clean up". Stands and walks out the room. As he walks out the model lighthouse gives off a small blue light hover above the lighthouse for a moment before it finally retracts into the lighthouse.

Walks out the door of his house. Takes another glimpse at the lighthouse before heading off towards the snow covered woods.

Dollidin walked into the medicinal shop. She was running out of money--she knew that. And the vial on the shelf was so small; it was all she needed, and then she would be back to full health. At least all the infections had healed, but the scars...the scars were unbearable. They completely marred her beauty. She could feel her body heating up in anger as she thought of the damage her uncle had done to her.

Very stealthily she took a smoke bomb out of her coin pouch and lit it by rubbing her fingers on the wick. At first she thought it must have been a dud, but then the smoke slowly began to curl out and she hid the bomb in a barrel of nuts in the pretense of rummaging through them. She watched the shopkeeper out of the corner of her eye, collecting coins from another customer. He sniffed as the smell wafted over to him. "Smoke?"

The smoke became denser and other customers noticed as well. "Smoke!" someone exclaimed. "Something's on fire!" Dollidin aided in the effect and emmanated heat from her body, warming the shop. Soon the room was emptying. She took advantage of everyone's distraction and swiped the vial and ran out with the other customers.

As she exited, she looked back and leered at the commotion she had caused. The shop windows were now turning white with all of the smoke contained within the room. But Dollidin soon found out, as she continued forward and almost fell into a chasm from some kind of quake, that she had been far outdone. And especially when she saw the blood, and then the bodies, she knew that someone had committed crimes far worse than petty thievery.

"You're worse than the ones who have come before you." Sergei announced, stepping out of his home. "Do you realize someone like yourself will never be able to light the lighthouses? Your malice will prevent you from your goal."
Vaeon the peregrine falcon hovered above Sergei, eyes locked hard on Brock.

"It is people like you who make the people of Weyard fear the day when the lighthouses will be lit. But it must happen." Sergei's semi-angular face examined Brock closely. The teenager possessed great strength and power, but it was obvious he let rage get in the way of everything. "Stop what you're doing, or you might just find yourself dead."

Sergei nodded to Bryant. "Another wind adept? I greet you. Surely you see this boy should take his issues elsewhere?"

"Yes." Brock answered coolly, to the first question that he was asked.

"Not really..." he answered again, this time annoyed by the seemingly endless questioning.

"This was my home, I'll have you know. I wouldn't look for a challenge where I know I won't find one." he stated more calm this time. "They had only gotten in my way of lighting the lighthouses. By know the elementals shall be leaving Sol Scantum. I don't want to keep them waiting." His right foot took one step, but as he did a male stepped from a house before commenting on his behavior.

"So you knew them? Then you know they are dead. I was once with them. The only one that lived." he didn't look back as he spoke, however the grip on his ax tightened and the ground shuddered lightly beneath their feet. "My malice is none of your concern, either. You had better keep your thoughts to yourself, or you will find yourself a grave man." The rock beneath their feet crumbled slightly as cracks split just under Brock. Two spires of thick stone arose only meters from Brock, each facing one of the other men.

"Now you have two choices at this point in time. You can either join me, to rekindle the greatest achievement man has had..." Brock stopped speaking and turned around to look at Sergie, "Or you will remove yourself from my sight." Tremor, the small Venus djinn, got ever closer to Brock's right leg, trying to hide himself from both parties beneath Brock's cloak.

"It will never be accomplished by the likes of you!" Sergei exclaimed. "We must rekindle the lighthouses to cure this blighted world! Not to elevate ourselves!" As the ground rumbled the wind picked up, Sergei's dark blonde bangs flying. With more force the loose dirt at their feet could be picked up into a sandstorm. He lowered his voice.

"We work for the same goal. Yet our ways of getting it done differ. This is what shall keep me from allying with you. You're unconditionally evil. Yet even now, I know that we would be able to get the elemental stones from Sol Sanctum. You are a powerful Earth adept and I of Wind."

He smiled sadly. "But lo! I shall let you continue your fatal journey, stranger." Sergei held back a laugh. Someone as bold and as foolish as him would get himself killed faster than someone jumping into a lighthouse. "Seeing how a murderer never gets off.... easy."

Vaeon perched on Sergei's left pauldron. The falcon was ever alert, and its eyes were on the djinn, watching for a hostile move.

"Great... another wind adept... I guess I'll have to kill after all." Bryant walked forward, passing Brock and his stone spires. As he did he said to Brock "I'm on your side. I wish to light the Jupiter tower to make my power unlimited. I will go with you, if you would have me." As he kept walking he turned back to face the other wind adept. "Sadly, I must be the one to light the Jupiter lighthouse. Thus, you must die. If my power is to become complete, than no other Jupiter adept can seek the same goal and live, lest I be cheated of my prize." He stopped about ten feet from Sergei. "You will find you have no power of my abilities. My powers are dark, to dark for the control of one so... good." Bryant spat the last word, and his tone was full of contempt for the entire concept. As black lightning began to build around his free hand (the one without the scythe in it) he said "There is no light. Only dark. You will find this out soon, hero." With that he let loose a blast of coarsing black lightning that stretched out in five tounges, three aiming for Sergei and two more aiming for his falcon.

The peregrine falcon is the fastest animal in the world when diving. And that's what Vaeon did. The black lightning was quickly evaded by the bird, who now hovered high above Sergei.

Sergei back flipped out of the way of the black lightning, but as it impacted the ground Sergei felt the tingling in his legs. "Whoever said I was good, stranger? Is it not popular belief that lighting the lighthouses is an evil goal?" He grinned, calmly examining his enemy. The man was a fool who believed that lighting the lighthouses would bring him power. Even if it were so, the adepts of the world would still rise up to defeat him. It was ironic how much of an idealist a villain could be.

"Come on, stranger! If I will find out soon enough, then hurry up and show me! You have some stones to retrieve! Oh, and some lighthouses. And some power, can't forget the power now, can we?"

((OOC: Just to make it clear, I have played both Golden Sun games and know the proper terminology for everything my character refers to. He, however, does not, and I will be posting from his perspective.))

It's a funny thing when, at first, you're so sure you know what you're doing you sweep aside even those who love you in order to pursue your goals and then wind up wondering where on earth to start a minute later. This was precisely the situation with Vincent, who was lost in all senses of the word. He'd set off filled with righteous fury, determined to atone for a misdeed he knew absolutely nothing about, when he'd been hit with the realization that he didn't know exactly where it had occurred, either. The next thing that struck him was just how big the world was. Though he'd seen countless years of travel he'd never really cared where he ended up, but all of a sudden he had a specific destination he couldn't possibly locate. Fury turned to despair as the warrior wearily trudged wherever his feet would take him, seeking any mention of the Guardians of Venus.

It had been a long time before his investigations bore any fruit, but he had heard rumors of a town where people had power over the elements, power like his own. The town was called Vale, and its people were said to be "adepts" who guarded something important. Perhaps these people were the Guardians of Venus against which Vincent's parents had rebelled. Even if they were not, they might know where to find the elusive group he had sought for so long. It was not a long road to the town from the place where he had first heard of its existence, and he'd reached the outskirts within a few hours of his departure. His first thought was that the place had been abandoned after some disaster. Winds whistled between the houses at terrible speed, forcing him to hold his cloak over his face to protect it from being pelted with debris, and many of the buildings had cracked and collapsed in places. There were a few corpses on the ground, but Vincent realized with growing horror that they had been slain within a few minutes of his arrival.

Panicked crowds took shelter in their homes and any other available building, locking their doors and slamming their shutters. Smoke filled a nearby store, though flames were nowhere to be seen. A possibility he had not yet contemplated struck Vincent: what if not all of his kind were good? His parents were fools, but they meant well. Whoever had caused this... devestation clearly did not. As he strode though the suddenly barren passages between houses and the trees and cliffs that ringed the village he spotted the source of the commotion: three men, two of them seeming to radiate wind while the other held an axe that reeked of evil power. It stood to reason that there were "adepts" devoted to different elements, but what about the man with the evil axe? What power did he serve? Vincent crouched behind a few barrels, Aestalaer in hand, and watched between two of them as the axe man pulled spires frim the earth. No... it could not be. But it was. The man was a Venus adept, and one of unquestionable evil.

It was with mute disinterest that Vincent watched one of the wind-men, clearly the more sinister of the two, join the axe man and fire black lightening at his rival wind adept. Both the adept and his falcon companion dodge the attack, saying something Vince can't make out, then remain in a momentary stalemate. Hushed intakes of breath could be heard as the battle stalled for a moment, the brave few who dared watch from their windows wondering what would happen next. The hidden Venus adept had a choice to make: reveal himself and get into a fight he didn't understand, or remain hidden and await whatever happened. He opted for the latter, at least for a little longer, and remained in his crouched position. If he wasn't careful he would be noticed and dragged into the battle regardless of whether or not he was ready...

Location: Imil Forest

Ike walks towards the center of Imil forest wondering what is he to do. He continuously takes glances at The Mercury lighthouse that stands tall above the village. He quietly sits down on a rock that is covered in snow. Only wearing some pants and his blue shirt which he usually wears under his armor. He feels the breeze of the air hit his uncovered skin.

He now realizes that he was a fool to have left with out suiting up in his clothing to protect him from the cold. Although realizing this he continues to sit and stare at the lighthouse, thinking. He is suddenly alarmed when he hears the noise of a rattle in the bushes. He gets up quickly and reaches back for his Frost Lance. He returns his hand empty handed remember all his equipment is back at the village. He takes a couple steps back as a giant frost ape jumps from the other side of the bushes in a fierce rage.

The ape charges at him knocking Ike to the ground. Struggling to his feet he tries to think what to do. Quickly rolling out of the way he dodges another charge from the ape. Looking to the side he notices a rock. He grabs it as he waits for his time to strike. The ape charges at him once again at full force. Nimbly he pulls himself up using a branch while with his other hand throwing the rock at the ape. The rock is broken to pieces as the ape pummels it with his giant fists, smacking it away.

"That was a great idea...". The Ape yells out in anger as the rock had done nothing but anger it even more. "Good going Ike...way to leave your stuff at home". He closes his eyes as his mind begins to race trying to come up with ideas. His eyes snap wide open as he notices the Ape in a branch above him ready to attack. "Mist!"

He focuses his Psynergy into creating a mist that surrounds the area as to hide his body. Jumping quickly to the floor, he begins to run for protection. He jumps over a bowlder covered in snow as he tries to grab a branch. He grips the branch for a second before his hand slips the ice covered branch. His momentum carrying him down a snow covered hill. His body is tossed on what appears to be a small frozen lake deep within Imil Forest.

He tries to get up only to be met with pain from his body. "Can This day get any bett...". Before he can finish his sentence he hears the cracking of the ice surrounding him. "Oh n...". A small section of the ice gives out and his body falls down a hole. The shift within the ice forces rocks around the area to move and cover the hidden underground cave once again.

Vale

Brock's eyes darted to the left as another male had entered. He didn't want to include him in this- he wasn't any of Brock's concern. Instead he had turned around and looked at the scaled man. His ax shuddered again and this effect was chilling to Brock's hand. He felt a shudder creep up his spine before pushing it away and going back to his default, monotone expression.

"I don't wish for power, I already have that. I don't wish for gold, I'm a rather simple male. I don't wish for females, my heart was stolen and ripped apart as the one I once loved was slaughtered before my eyes. I only wish to reignite the lighthouses. What makes me evil is my mode of accomplishing that. I don't who you are... Good... Evil... Neutral... If you get in my way you will die." Brock closed his eyes for a split second and as he opened them once again a large wall of rock grew into a blockaid before the parties.

"Go, adapt." he muttered to the one adept that had stated recently he was on Brock's side. Brock slung the omnipotent ax downward. It sliced into the ground, but didn't stop as a normal weapon would. Instead it suck deeper and deeper still into the cold, hard Earth. Before long their was nothing left to see, he had went into the ground fully where it would follow the man everywhere, ready to be used at a moments notice.

"I'm waiting... You wasting time..." he muttered in an annoyed tone. "We'll see him again, don't worry about it. We have no choice but to see him again."

Location: Vale

Vince leapt back, rolling over his shoulder, as a barrier of earth erupted between the southern and northern halves of the town. Examining the wreckage of the barrels he had been hiding behind, inadvertently destroyed when the strange axe-man used his power, the young Venus adept gave thanks for the fact that he had seen the move coming. He was never fast, and his ability to take blows would do him little good while encased in a rock wall. Both the one who used the power and his wind-man accomplice vanished behind their barrier, leaving the question of what they intend to do next. Pushing himself up on his hammer Vince examined the wall, determined to try and get through it. He'd never had much luck at controlling the raw power of land, but he didn't have to in his situation.

Running his right hand along the rock the young adept sought chipped areas that might host plant growths. Pressing both arms up to the elbow against the wall he closed his eyes, willing life to take hold in all the nooks and crannies of the wall. Plants strangled it, fighting for purchase as they were forced to attempt to crush their host. Yet, despite all their efforts, the rock held. The other adept was too powerful. Vince thought briefly about slamming his hammer into it to crush it, but remembered that there were survivors in the village. Someone could be hurt, and then he'd have more than one thing to atone for. With a wearied sigh he dropped his arms to his sides, resolving to find a way around. Suddenly he remembered that one of the three men had been left behind, the one who had clearly been distressed by whatever the other two had been saying. He turned to face the wind-caster and his valiant falcon, curiosity and anxiousness in his face as he asked his questions.

"Who were they? What did they want? And... erm... who are you?

Wakes up a couple hours later. Sitting up Ike looks around the cave. The cave seemed big at first, but as he gained his sense of judgement along with his sences back he realized the cave was no bigger then twice the size of his room. He stood up seeing nothing infront of him.

Suddenly a chill went through his spine. He turned around to find an ancient tablet thats seemed undisturbed for about a decade. The tablet was covered in a frost all around it. What was weird about this tablet was that although it was covered in frost the markings on the tablet were clearly visible. Ike walked up to the tablet cautiously. He took a knee as he tried to understand the inscriptions. "What kind of language is this?".

He went back to where he had fallen. His hopes sunk when he took a look at the hole that was once above him. Solid rock stood between the outside word and the cave. Beginning to focus he began to raise his hands. "Only one chance of getting out of here....Ice Missile!". Using the water in the air ice shards began to form infront of his hand. With steady control he sends the Ice Shards into the solid rock above him. The Ice Shards hit the rock directly but to his surprise they shatter and begin to fall back down at him. Ike tries to dodge the dangerous sharp shards as they fall. As he moves to the right one knicks his shoulder ripping a hole in the sleeve and cutting the skin underneath it open. He falls to one knee as he holds the cut on his left shoulder with his right hand trying to stop the bleeding that has started.

As he gets up he begins to notice that something had started to give off a blue glow once he used his psynergy. He turns around once again to face the tablet to notice that a blue aurora had surrounded the frosted tablet. Ike reaches out to touch the tablet. He icy stone makes contact with the skin of his hand. Nothing happens at first, but suddenly the aurora transfers to his body. An ancient seal of some sort appears on the floor with him and the tablet inside it. His body begins to levitate as he hears a voice from within. Closing his eyes he listens to the ancient voice. "Those who are of the ancient Mercury Clan blood line are to receive these powers and protect the tower that stands above all in sight for few are given this key to enter the Mercury Lighthouse. Frost" The aurora that now surrounds Ike retracts into the Adepts hands.

He opens his eyes to look at his hands. Ike feels as if a new power lies within his hands waiting for him to use. To his shock he is standing in the middle of his room. Touches the wall to make sure he is not seeing an illusions. "Was it all a dream?? Can't be...I feel the new power.". He throws himself on his bed looking up at the ceiling. Pats his shoulder as he remembers the cut that he received in the cave. The torn piece of clothing was still there but the wound had vanished.

Jumps up from his bed heading towards his closet. He swings it open pulling out his equipment. Ike throws on his Mercury Adept armor along with his Adept Gloves. He puts on his belt as the light from the sun reflects off the armor revealing a design of the Mercury Lighthouse on the left side of his armor. Grabs the small pole like object from the closet putting it on a hing on his back. Finally Ike reaches for his Lunar Cloak that his dad had left him. Puts it on as it hides the retracted Frost Lance on the back of his belt.

Runs out of his house towards the Inn. On the way he stops to take a glance at the Mercury Lighthouse. Enters the Inn looking for the elder that usually hung around in the inn. Spots him sitting at the table. He walks towards him passing a travelor with purple clothing and blonde hair.

"Oh Elder, I ask for permission to leave the village for a quest to search for an answer that has long puzzled my mind since taking on the role of one of the protectors of the Mercury Lighthouse"
"But what about the Lighthouse?"
"Elder, there are plenty of other protectors of the lighthouse that I doubt that one leaving will affect the force of the Mercury Clan, plus Its just a short trip. I promise I'll be back soon"
"Right, but where do you plan on going?"
"My father told me of a village to the southeast that interests me"
"Well good luck my young warrior. Remember you are one of the prides of the Mercury Clan"
"Thank you elder"

Runs out of the inn and stops at the entrance of the village. Turns around to glance at the lighthouse one last time. "My mind has many questions about this lighthouse. And I plan on answering all of them....to Vale". Turns around and leaves running towards the mountains that lay ahead

"I am Sergei, master adept of Wind. I am the lone soldier in the group who wishes to light the houses for the better of our world. Those two men are demons who wish to light the houses for power. It shall not be so." Sergei's slightly pale skin (unscaled, he is from Tolbi), and reddish eyes looked to the other. "What is it that you wish? If it is to retrieve the stones from the Sanctum before those demons, then Jupiter be praised." He shook his head quickly. "Oh, sorry. I'm worried."

It took Vincent a moment for the implications of the man's words to set in. By putting two and two together he could be fairly sure that the "lighthouses" the adept had spoken of, probably just one of them, was under the guardianship of his clan to prevent its power from returning into the world and falling into the wrong hands. What he hadn't anticipated at all, however, was that an external stimulus was required to release that power, and that the stimuli were located somewhere in or near the town. Both the pair who had already departed and the man beside him sought to release the power, albiet seemingly for different reasons.

Vincent was left with two options: he could turn on the man and tell him that he would never allow him to remove the stones of which he spoke, then attempt to locate and guard the stones without any allies, or he could work with the man and at least ensure that the stones did not fall into the hands of the previous pair and worry about their ultimate use later. Knowing that he would be fighting overwhelming odds alone if he chose the first option, Vince opted for the second one. He could at least pursue and gain the Venus stone, then perhaps hide it where it could not possibly be found, far from the lighthouse his clan presided over. He would spend the rest of his days to watch over it and protect it from all those who came near. For the moment, however, such dreams would have to wait. The other pair got further away every instant Vince wasted by talking, and the adepts were still held back by the rock wall.

"From what I've seen of them, I don't want any sort of power in their hands. Let's try and head them off, we'll worry about what to do with the stones once we deal with the immediate problem. Thank you for trusting me with your knowledge."

Turning away once more Vincent examined a nearby wooden fence, weakened by the quakes and gales but still standing and blocking the path onward. It would certainly be possible to crush the wood into oblivion with nearby plants, but that was hardly a service to a town that was already heavily damaged. Instead the Venus adept formed a ladder of vines over the barrier, allowing relatively easy access without further destruction. Swiftly he scaled the vines, beckoned to his new ally Sergei, and slid over to the other side. He didn't know where he was headed next, but if Sergei did or if he could spot the other duo it would be a matter of catching up before his foes reached their destination.

"It's only a matter of time." Sergei said calmly. "We will need a fire and a water adept at the current rate... though it is technically possible to retrieve the stones without all the adepts. But it won't be easy... most people are still happy with the thought that by keeping the stones up in Sol Sanctum the world will be safe. This is not so, and if we can't persuade the populace of this I fear our quest will be for naught anyway." He raced on and over the fence. "Maybe Kraden will know what to do, but I doubt he has read much about the colony of Prox.... this is our only proof that the world has gotten worse since the lighthouses have been shut down."

As of yet only Lemuria knew the world was shrinking, but some who were knowledgeable about geography would know of Prox's worsening conditions.

Sergei hurried away to Kraden's far off cottage. Maybe he could persuade the old man to aid them in any way he could. Sergei was doubtful, though.

Location: Vale

Eight years.
Eight years it has been since Orpheus was exiled, forced to leave Prox for no longer doing his duty of guaring the lighthouse. And after eight years of travelling Weyard, he has come to Vale. Back in Prox, he had heard tales of this place, of how the Mountain to the north of it conceals an ancient Sanctum, related to the Lighthouse. He had wandered about the hillside village, popping in the Inn for a while, until eventually he had come across a Jupiter adept and an Venus adept. He had overheard their conversation, of how they needed oth a Mars and Mercury adept. Orpheus had not confronted them, but had followed them, knowing this could be an oppurtunity. If they were wiling, they could pay him for lending them the powers of a Mars adept, such as himself.

He had continued to follow them to an old cottage, when Orpheus had decided the time was right, and made himself known. Clearing his throat, he began to speak to the pair.
"I overheard your conversation back there...And I hear you need both a Mars adept and a Mercury adept," Orpheus crossed his arms as he began to smirk, "I am a Mars adept, and I can offer you use of my powers...If...You're willing to pay, that is..."
