Golden Sun: The Search For Alchemy(Recruitment)(Fantasy)

Storyline
Since the beginning many people of the World of Weyward have wondered about the power of Alchemy which shaped the world. The power was locked
away and seperated amongst four elemental Clans. Adepts(people who are able to use Psynergy) of each clan is responsible for protecting their assigned lighthouse.

A group of Adepts, known as The Elements, have gone to Vale in search of stealing the 4 Elemental Stars (Gems of its matching color)
(Fire, Water, Wind & Earth)
There mission is to try and light the 4 Elemental Lighthouses belonging to each of the Clans and try to unleash the power
of the Golden Sun/Alchemy on top of Mt. Alchemy and harness its power and conquer all of Weyward.

Towns and Important Locations (Other towns/hometowns may be created or introduced. Not all Adepts must come from these specific towns. They may lie near the towns)

Imil - Home of all Mercury Clan Members. North of the town is the entrance to the Mercury Lighthouse
Prox - Home of all Mars Clan Members. The Entrance to the Mars Lighthouse lies someplace in Prox
Lalivelo - Home of all Venus Clan Members. South of the village lies the Venus Lighthouse
Contigo - Home of all Jupiter Clan Members. The entrance to the Jupiter lighthouse is near the town of Contigo
Vale - is the town near Mt. Alchemy and Sol Sanctum
Mt. Alchemy - Where the Golden Sun Will gather at.
Sol Sanctum - Temple where the 4 Elemental Stars are

Things to know
The Adepts known as the Elementals are Evil. This group consists of adepts from all four clans.
You do not have to be apart of the Elementals to be after the Elemental Stars.
If you choose to not be evil you may protect the Lighthouses of your Clan or Chase after the Elementals.
You may be a lone Adept trying to save the world or be apart of a group. You are not limited to anything really.
The Elemental Stars are located within Sol Sanctum which is a temple north of Vale.
Each Elemental Light house can only be lit when someone throws the matching Elemental Star into the giant hole on top of each light house.
When this is done a Huge Ball of light(Representing the Clans Color) will hover over the lighthouse until all four are lit. When all four
lighthouses are lit the lights will gather on top of Mt. Alchemy into a Golden Sun.
You May Not enter a Lighthouse until you have a member of that respective Lighthouses Clan with you.
Psynergy is basically the same as magic
Venus Psynergy revolves around manipulation of Nature - plants and the earth.
Mars Psynergy revolves around control of fire, heat, and lava.
Jupiter Psynergy is based on the powers of wind and lightning.
Mercury Psynergy concerns the control of water and ice.
Through out Weyward lie many Djinn. Djinn are little creatures that can aid in Battle. With a Djinn a special summon/or your special/finisher may be performed.
Finishers may be customized however you like it. To get one you must encounter and Capture one of the respectives clan Djinn.

Note: There can be more then one member of each clan....after all a Clan means a group of people...so if you want to be apart of a clan and someone has already chosen the clan...then don't worry..just join!! Really there can be no limit to the amount of people that are in a clan.

Weapon: Double Edged Lance known as the Frost Lance.
Armor: Mercury Adept's Armor along with the Lunar Cloak that his father gave him.

Diamond Berg: Freezes the opponent and then Ike moves in and slashes at the piece of Ice violently
Ice Missile: Ice Spikes fly at the opponent
Mist: A cool mist heals Ike and others.

Biography: Son to Mike, one of the original protectors of the Mercury Lighthouse. A young Adept still learning the ways of the Mercury Clan. Is seen as a high prospect in the eyes of the Mercury Clan's Elders. Still has many Psynergy moves to master. His father left him the Lunar Cloak telling him that it holds many mysteries
Intentions: Good
Finisher: When Combined with a Mercury Djinn, Ike is able to summon his ultimate special known as the Icy Water Vortex. Ike channels a vortex of water mixed along with Ice shards with rapid speed and a heavy current into the opponent like a drill until the opponent is completely frozen or dead. Ike can choose to either keep the person frozen or finish it off with a Diamond Berg.

Biography: Kyo was born in Prox but moved with his parents after life became difficult, they moved to Vale and lived like an ordinary family until Kyo's powers manifested, Kyo trained everyday to make himself stronger and one day dreamed of venturing to the outside world to see all he could see.

Finisher: When combined with a Mars Djinn, Kyo summons a column of fire below the enemy knocking them into the sky and rapidly slashes them in midair before impaling them on his spear and sending them back down to Earth

Biography: Most of his memories were lost when he was traveling up the side of Mt. Alchemy. What is known is that at the age of 15 he had run from Vale, where he spent his life in the adopted home of a single mother, to light the lighthouses with a small group of friends. The friends were soon lost during an attempt to light one lighthouse. He has, for the last year and a half, spent his time training within Vale- others clueless about his failed attempt (He said he went out to explore the world alone).

Parallel Fatigue -- Shifts the ground below into a three-sided wall in which blocks escape. Following the capture (assuming it does so) twin Ragnaroks impale from the front and top (the only two escape routes).

Just to reassure you guys, no I haven't forgotten this RPG. I'm just waiting for a couple more people to join so we can atleast get this thing moving and hope people join during session

Armor: Thick cloth and leather, made to protect from heavy winds and insulated against electricity in most places.
Born in what town/village: Wind Shear Village
Starting Psynergy:
Wind Edge: Temporarily sharpens a blade using cutting winds. Target must be a bladed weapon.
Bolt Edge: Temporarily infuses the user's target with electricity, giving it temporary stunning ability. Target must be a weapon.
Wind Render: Fires a cutting wind from the swing of a blade.
Storm Bender: Absorbs a lightning bolt through the user's weapon and redirects it with more power.
Storm Caller: Generates a thunderstorm. The storm acts naturally; it isn't controlled.
DarkBolt: Fires a bolt of black lightning from the user's weapon.

Biography: Bryant grew up as the local prodigy of Wind Shear Village, a hidden town high in the mountains that was home to a cult-like branch of the Jupiter Clan, who developed and used a dark, tainted form of wind and lightning Psynergy. He grew up immersed in the cult and it's ideals and beliefs, and he soon showed great talent for their dark Psynergy. After coming of age he was gifted with the clan's most powerful weapon, the DarkWind Scythe, whos hidden powers were said to be unlocked with the lighting of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Bryant took the scythe and left, going off on his own to hone his abilities, and to eventually attempt to steal the Jupiter Star and light the Jupiter Lighthouse, so he could make his power infinite.
Intentions: Evil
Finisher: When combined with a Jupiter Djinn, Bryant can summon a massive black tornado infused throughout with dark lightning, and suck his opponent up into it, letting the tearing winds and merciless lightning finish them off for him. If his opponent survives, he can finish them by turning himself into a black lightning bolt and shooting himself through his opponent, impaling and electrocuting them.

Member of which Clan/Group: Jupiter.
Element: Wind.
Weapon: Dual Short Swords.
Armor: Banded Mail. As he isn't devoted to the Jupiter clan, does not wear purple.
Born in what town/village: Tolbi
Starting Psynergy: Whirlwind Blades (whirlwinds surround swords), Speak with Animal, Read Mind, Speed Dash
Appearance: 5'7", 118 lbs. Skinny yet muscled. Dark blonde hair. Reddish-yellowish eyes.
Biography: Born and raised in Tolbi by Tocor, master gladiator, and Helena, the attending nurse of gladiators. After he won the tournament, Tocor asked Helena to marry him, and they raised Tocor and found he fostered abilities alike those of an adept. He was sent to Vale to be trained by Kraden, a friend of Babi's, and for several years Kraden taught Sergei what he knew of psynergy until Sergei could be taught no more. Sergei also has the uncanny ability to befriend animals. His companion Vaeon, a Peregrine, has been with him since he was 16. He returned to Tolbi to study for a few years before learning about the elemental stones and lighthouses. He has returned to Vale to try and restore the lighthouses and stop Prox from freezing, and the other sicknesses the world has due to the lighthouses be off.
Intentions(Good or Evil): Elemental. Not an evil person.
Finisher(When a Djinn is in your possession): Summon Catastrophe. This will also cause Sergei to pass out.

Biography: She was raised by her uncle, a high-ranking, albeit corrupt, member of the Mars clan. He taught her to use her powers and enforced in her his ideology and the importance of capturing the Fire star. She has since rebelled against her uncle, and she was severely burned as a result of a battle between them. So far, she has almost completely healed herself with herbs and potions, but she has had to pay dearly to obtain these items.
Intentions: Evil
Finisher: With the aid of Mars Djinn, she summons the ground to open up, sending up flames beneath the target, and then serves the deathly blow with her pitchfork.

Biography: Born in in contigo the big city for the Jupiter clan Chris had extensive training in wind psyenergy. Although being form the Jupiter clan he cannot invoke lightning psyenergy with ease all the same with him though as he doest really want to use it. Finally reaching the age of 17 he sets out into the world looking for an adventure.

Character's Name: Vincent ("Vince")
Age: 20
Member of which Clan/Group: Venus
Element: Earth
Weapon: Aestalaer, a large stone hammer bound in steel and inlaid with a diamond on either side of the head. The name roughly translates to "Earth Mallet" and has been passed down by the exiled Venus defenders since their fall from grace. It cannot be wielded by anyone not of Clan Venus, and grants the power "Aftershock".
Armor: A simple steel chestpiece and backplate inlaid with ornate but functional bronze. Inscribed into the bronze is a circular depiction of plants through the four seasons, from sprouting in spring to growing in summer to bearing fruit in autumn to death in winter and rebirth. It serves no function other than basic protection and decoration.
Born in what town/village: Lalivero (Exiled shortly after birth)
Starting Psynergy:
Cure (Focuses the rejuvenating powers of nature to heal wounds)
Thorn (Attacks with stabbing thorns)
Growth (Causes plants to temporarily become giant.)
Aftershock (Granted by Aestalaer, strikes the ground and creates a shockwave that strikes whoever strikes the wielder. Can only strike targets that are touching the ground.)
Biography: Born to a pair of adepts whose sacred duty was to protect the Venus Lighthouse, preventing the misuse of the power it contained, Vincent was barely a week old when the schism occurred. Some of the lighthouse's guardians believed that anyone who could brave the dangers of the place was clearly a hero who both deserved and could responsibly manage the power within. These people, Vincent's parents among them, were certain that the place no longer needed guardians. The majority of their colleagues, however, saw this as a violation of ancient oaths and immediately cast out the offenders. The young boy lived a life on the road, not knowing any other life but always possessing the distinct feeling that he was being punished for something he knew nothing about.
Vincent was always gifted with plants, often carefully tending a small area of them before being forced to move on with the caravan of the Venus exiles. He showed no interest or ability, however, in controlling the raw power of earth and life, which was of some concern to his more well-rounded parents and mentors. Eventually the story of the transgression of the guardians came out, and Vincent was consumed with fury at what his parents had done. His mother, always a reluctant member of the rebellion, entrusted him with the hammer Aestalaer and told him to seek atonement for the acts of his forebears. It did not take much for him to become hopelessly lost in a world larger than he ever knew existed, and he now wanders from town to town seeking those who would use the power of Venus for evil ends.
Intentions: Good
Finisher: Thorny vines wrap around an enemy, pulling them to the ground and binding them there, while Vincent smashes Aestalaer into the ground and sends out a shockwave of jagged earth that bisects the fallen foe.

Character's Name: Orpheus

Age: 23

Member of which Clan/Group: The Mars Clan

Element: Fire

Weapon: Bladed gauntlets

Armor: Medium spiked armor. Not too light to be weak, not too heavy to restrict movement.

Starting Psynergy:
Nova (Attack with a large explosion)
Fireball (Shoot an enemy with a scorching ball of fire)
Ignite (Cause a target to ignite in flames)

Biography: Ever since they were fourteen, Orpheus and his childood friend, Achan, were tasked with guarding the lighthouse north of Prox. Day after day, they would make the two hour walk to the lighthouse, only to stand guard all day, only ever leaving during the shifts to eat and drink. Anyone devoted enough would have done it out of loyalty, out of faith, and continued to do so. Though, needless to say, this was not how it was. Orpheus had never cared about being a guardian. Eventually, a year after they had begun there tasks of forever gaurding the doors to the lighthouse, Orpheus didn't show up one day, leaving Achan to guard it by himself. This had worried him, as they had no choice but to do the task they were given, as if they did not, the punishment was exile, banishment from the clan. Hoping Orpheus was simply a little late, he knew...He knew that was not it. He had always known Orpheus didn't want to be a guardian. He knew this day would come, he just wasn't prepared.
After checking his home and finding that he wasn't there, his worry only grew. Where could he have gone? Achan had swiftly checked round the village, only to once again, find he wasn't there. The elders had of course confronted Achan about not being at his post, but understood when he told them Orpheus hadn't showed up. With the hope that they may not be punished if he could find Orpheus soon and bring him back, Achan went looking in the frozen pass to the south. Fortunatly, he eventually found him, sittig on a rock. Although at first when he tried persuading him to come back and he refused, he eventually got him too, much to Achans joy...For the moment.
When they had gotten back, the Elders had requested to speak with them both. Due to Orpheus no longer possessing the will to carry out his task, he was exiled, forever banished from the Mars Clan and Prox. Achan had felt upset at this at first, but the worst had yet to come. He knew it was pointless trying to persuade the Elder otherwise, so went to follow Orpheus out, however paused when the Elders claimed to have more to say. Due to Achan having the inability to keep have his partner continue his task, he was to lame as well, apparantly. Thus, Achan was exiled too.
He had felt upset at first, and had walked off in silence with Orpheus, heading south from Prox, where a boat was waiting for them. Eventually though, he felt anger...Rage...Hate, for what Orpheus had caused.
Achan had assaulted him in rage, accusing Orpheus of it all being his fault. For a while they fought and fought. It wasn't just a harmless brawl, however. Achan loved what he was doing, what he was doing for his clan. All he could think when he saw his best friend was revenge. Achan meant to KILL Orpheus. They kept on fighting, even using their psynergy, until eventually they came to a cliff. Achan had tried to push the bastard that had got them both exiled off of the cliff, however, Orpheus, in self defence, brought it around, and ended up chucking Achan off the edge. He hadn't watched fall to his doom, however he knew it was common sense, that no one could survive that fall. No one. For a while, Orpheus had just stood there, unable to believe what he had done.
Eventually, he pulled himself together, and continued on to the boat that would take him far away from Prox. Far away from his home, his family, his clan.
He was exiled.
He walks alone.
He carries the guilt of murdering his childhood friend.
He is Orpheus.

Intentions: Chaotic Neutral (As in, nether good nor evil, only acts selfishly)

Finisher: Combined with a Mars Djinn, Orpheus lets loose a fit of fiery rage, causing mass explosions around him, destroying just about everything around him, then causes the ground to erupt with magma beneath a target/targets, killing them with a molten finish.

Armor: A cape made up of water psyenergy that acts like a barrier when he needs it.
Born in what town/village: Lemuria
Starting Psynergy: Douse, Frost, Barrier (a watery shield psyenergy), Ply, cure poison

Biography: Malkon was born and raised in Lemuria, an ancient civilization which through time, has begun to deteriorate. Malkon first realized that things were different in Lemuria when his sister and neighbor both died within a week. For some reason, death is beginning to occur in his town. Although he has heard rumors that the reason death is occurring in Lemuria because the lighthouses remain unlit, no one will talk. It's as if they are hiding something great. However, Malkon will not just sit and let death keep occurring. This mindset is what drove him to leave Lemuria and light the lighthouses...because he has nothing else to go on. This is how Malkon joined the Elementals. He has no intentions to be evil, merely figure out the mystery as to why the lighthouses light will prevent the sudden death...
Intentions(Good or Evil): Evil (ish)
Finisher(When a Djinn is in your possession): When combined with a Mercury Djinn, Malkon unleashes a fierce tidal wave. This move, known as Rip Tide, is an extreme combination of douse and drench which in addition to a djinn, is given massive power.
