Isaac clumsily falled out of bed, hitting the floor with a tremendous thud. As was the norm for Isaac, being opposed to waking up early for as long as he can remember. He had experience willing himself to a state of alertness, however, as his older sister had a nasty tendency to pull some manner of prank during his slumber. Roughly regaining his composure, he struck a fighting stance of sorts, before realizing that his sister was nowhere to be found.
"Heh heh, for the past five years I've been waking up like this. Some habits never die, I guess..." he pondered, scratching his head in embarrassment.
Slipping on his favorite red shirt, he next observed his sabers mounted on the wall. He approached them, unsheathing the larger of the two first. It glowed with an incandescent red light.
As he unsheathed the brilliant, but smaller, blue saber, he marvelled at the weapons. "These things've been a Godsend! If I've gotten one benefit out've being in a bunch of different worlds, it's how good I've gotten at swordfighting!"
He chuckled, "The score's still 12-4 in my favor for sparring. Only eight more wins to go 'till Danny gets to treat me to dinner!"
He sheathed the two swords, wrapping them around his person for easy access. Shielding his eyes from the bright sun, he made his way out and about to see who was up. Sure enough, Danny was one of the first awake, and by himself no less! His first instinct was to pull a practical joke on his unsuspecting friend, but upon noticing that Danny indeed was not alone, he cast aside such notions.
"Wouldn't want to offend the lady..." he reasoned, knowing good and well that Kay was aware of his playful nature.
Instead, he calmly strode to where the two were conversing, and took a seat next to Danny.
"Another beautiful day in paradise!" he heartily exclaimed, sitting next to Danny and patting his back. Tossing Kay a friendly wink, he continued to talk to his friend, "How you holding up this morning, partner?"
