Hello, I'm new to this site, but not new to roleplay. If any of you could provide me with tips for proper forum etiquette, such as how to join, and some other tips about how it works around here, that would be fantastic.

("...well I just turned up too, yet I'm quite happy to welcome you now..." replied the goblin, who then dipped his hand into his pocket pulling out a full length red carpet complete with side rails and snapping paparazzi, saying "...here you go then, easy when you know how, and can't say we ever skimp on ceremony here, by the way, you'll stay for tea won't you, I mean we do so lavish attention on those we find interesting...", and with that the goblin hailed for the forum doors to be flung open, shouting "...it's ok for I do remember the password, it's by my posts goes me...")

Hey there, HydeTodd! Welcome to RolePlayGateway!
Looks like you already met another fresh-faced user, fleamailman! Haha. We're a friendly and active community of writers, so don't be afraid to jump right in!
I'll take you under a wing, if you like. Great to see that you at least have experience in roleplaying, even if you're new to our forum! This is a pretty big place, so it's good to get your footing - but like I said, sometimes the best way to learn is to just tackle it all at once.
As for threads to get you started, here!
Don't forget to check out the RPG Rules. There are only five of them, but it'll do you no small amount of good to be familiar with how we hold ourselves as a community here.
Start working on getting your first ten forum posts out of the way, too! Follow that link to read up on why you need this, and to see a helpful index of threads that'll get you well on your way!
Honestly, at this point, the best advice I can give you is to explore and look around. If you do have any hard, solid questions just put them in this thread and I'll do my best to answer!
