I'd like to play, I'll need help building a character though. I've only played once, and that was 1.0, with a 3.5 PHB...

I'm up for D&D, but I'll have to take a rain check, I can't afford to split myself too many ways or else I will be watered-down Shayna... and nobody wants diluted Shayna. So I must -concentrate- on school work and the forums that I am a part of. 8-B Hur hur... I so made a funny. So anyhow, I've got a few characters with sheets already made for myself that I can implement when I have time... if there's a such thing anymore.

If Finnian won't be running this game, there are a few other DMs willing to govern this game. I posted a link to the Hypertext SRD, for everyone who doesn't have the books. They are the newer 3.5e, so if someone's running a different version, that SRD is more or less accurate. (Less.)

Dude. I'm sad this didn't go anywhere. I love Forgotten Realms D&D. I remember this one time I rped with this guys and he was Elminster. Best rper I've ever seen. xD

Only D&D I play is on Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, so if and when I'm given the ok, I'd be willing to play, though I have to ask where Tarantis is. I can't find it anywhere on their maps. Found Tantras, but no Tarantis.

Well, I think Finnian was wanting to start a campaign in a completely unique setting, not Forgotten Realms. If you're willing to GM the game, go for it, I have no complaints. Finnian hasn't been too passionate about getting his game running, so really - if you get something together, and get some players, I'll be happy to make you the moderator here.

I appreciate the offer, but no. Everytime I act as a DM for a game, it goes all to hell. Besides, I'm still extremely new here.

As much as I'd like to, I don't make a very good DM. I mean, I hate not being involved, I love making my own character playing a long. I love Forgotten Realms, but, sadly I hate running an RP if it means I'm just moderating. If we can get someone to run it, I'd love to play.
EDIT: If no one steps up in a couple weeks I'll run it. I've got an okay idea for a story... but I would need everyone to be an original character.

It's alright, all you need is basic knowledge of the races, classes and spells, and the world, in this case, Faerun.
D&D rps are much like normal Rps, they just help keep everything orderly.
And is it going to be 3.0 or AD&D?
