She was usually very prompt, but this time according to Vae-time, she was running extremely late. Her hair was still dripping wet from the quick cold shower in her dorm room. A white towel was informally swung over her shoulders as she only had time to pull on the uniform pilot jumpsuit which was entirely black with a silver stripe coming down her arms leading past her curves and down her legs. It was almost entirely zipped up as it stopped just above her gray sports bra. Some girls from her regiment caught up with her as she was trying to hurry to class, catching her up on the latest gossip, “Captain, did you hear about the transfer student from Lain?”

Looking back a moment at a two Corporals and a Private from her regiment Vae replied as she was turning the corner toward her class, “Uhh, no…”

The girls snickered as they almost spoke at once, “It’s CRAZY!! Her name is Hitomi, she was a Lain Captain and was kicked out of her regiment!”

“Yea but the admins let her keep her rank and switched her over to Phire!!”

Vae almost stopped dead as she heard the girls speak. “What!?! How?!” she exclaimed. She found it hard to believe that it took her years to earn her rank as a Captain in HER regiment and here comes a transfer with her rank practically GIVEN to her.

“Well, I think she might have slept with one of the admins,” said the Private giggling.

“Well whatever it was, she must have pretty close ties with the admins!” replied one of the Corporals.

The girls could see a troubled look cross their Captain’s face as Vae bid them farewell, “I’ve gotta get to class, I’ll catch you girls later!” she cried out as she reached the doorway of her class. Professor Kato just began class by introducing the Lain Captain transfer student. Vae patiently waited for the professor to finish speaking before she decided to take a seat. Unfortunately the only seat that was open was the one beside the ever so popular new Phire Captain, Hitomi. Vae tried to avoid eye contact as she took her seat beside her but as she shifted her gaze up, she could just make out Amber’s words to Hitomi.

She didn’t know what came over her but Vae caught Amber’s glance and gave her a look that could kill. The Phire Lieutenant shifted her glance away uncomfortably as her original Phire Captain without word demanded that she behave herself. Miss-ranked or not, didn’t give anyone the right to be rude. Although deep inside of her, Vae felt slightly resentful…

This is a combined post between Ralana's Aurora Von Drake and my character, Zane "Matty" Schuyler. I hope you enjoy. I used the same bold formant that has been used before, I hope no one minds. If so, I can change it because I don't want to offend.

Aurora: The academy lunch room was exceptionally depressing that morning. Aurora hadn't slept much that night and had gotten up early in the morning to smoke a couple of cigs. It looked as though the nasty habit the purple haired girl had kicked was slowly seeping back into her life, but at least she wasn't an alcoholic. Fixing her white tank top Aurora moved in line for breakfast patiently waiting for her turn.

Zane: Having a room without a roommate was a wonderful thing indeed. He was able to do whatever he wanted and that mean dance around the room completely naked if he so desired. After spending a few minutes dancing, he finally dressed in a pair of black slacks and a white t-shirt, halfway unbuttoned. Slipping on a tie, he grinned and messed his hair up to his liking. Sliding his i pod into his pocket, he shoved the ear phones into his ears to block everything out. Grabbing his keys, he headed out of his room, making his way down the hallway. Ignoring the whispers and the giggles, he headed into the cafeteria. Food was definitely something he could handle. Dancing while heading for the line, Schuyler was definitely in his own world. It wasn’t until he bumped into a girl that he turned around and tried to pay a little bit of attention. “Hey, sorry about that, miss. Guess I should watch where I’m going, hmm?”

Aurora: The girl had been in her own little world while standing in line. Idly running hand through her hair Aurora's stunning blue eyes gazed up at the ceiling as her mind started to wander about the night before. Her thoughts were quickly interrupted though when suddenly someone bumped in her back making the girl stumble forward with a light yelp. Quickly regaining her balance Aurora was able to stop herself from slamming into the kid standing in front of her and she was considering scolding whoever it was behind her until she heard that voice. It Can't be... Slightly horrified the girl turned looking back at him completely stunned, “Matty?”

Zane: Taking in the female’s purple hair, Zane let the details sink it. Moving his eyes to her blue eyes, he stared into them silently before shifting his gaze downward, taking in every inch of her appearance. Shaking his head, he pulled one of the ear phones out of his ear and let it dangle against his shoulder. No, it wasn’t her… there was no way that Aurora Von Drake was in the same school as him, let alone an academy. Sliding his hand through his red hair, he shifted uncomfortably before letting his hand drop down to his side. Deciding that for the moment it would be best to play off that he didn’t hear her, he grinned that devilish heart melting grin and spoke softly. “I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you. What did you say?”

Aurora: She just stared at him for a very long moment completely in shock. It looked like Matty, and it had to be him right? And he didn't know who she was? Aurora felt as though she was suddenly about to throw up tears, but she pushed though feelings to the side. “Um...” Her blue eyes spotted the headphones and the girl just rolled her eyes. God. “I said watch your step Matty...” Crossing her arms she turned around again waiting for her spot. Hell if he didn't recognize her maybe it was a good thing. Shit she was being stupid. Turning around again she looked the boy up and down, “Its you isn't it Matty?”

Zane: Grinning a little bit more, he had to admire Aurora for not even missing a beat. Some people never changed, but that was a good thing. Dropping the other ear phone out of his ear, he slid a hand down in order to shut the i pod off. Giving the beautiful lady his full attention, he shrugged a little, that same stupid grin plastered on his face. She looked just as good as she did back in the day, though something appeared to be haunting her. Suddenly he felt foolish and wondered if this was such a good idea. After all, a girl like her probably had a boyfriend. The smile dropped off his face and he held out his hand towards her. “The name is Zane Schuyler, Ms. Von Drake. Matty Avery is a name I haven’t gone by in a year.”

Aurora: “You're...Zane Schuyler...?” Aurora coughed just staring at Matty, the boy she once dated all those years ago now a famous billionaire. Giving him a very weak smile the girl took his hand shaking it, “Well...its interesting to meet you Zane...” The girl felt even more ill though. “Well...um...I'm glad you've done so well...but really why are you here?” She paused looking over his hand and then pulling hers away. “I never knew you were interested in the military...”

Zane: “Honestly, all these formalities suck.” Dropping his hand down, he realized something and it wasn’t something that was good. Back when they were dating, he wasn’t good enough for parents and because of that, she broke up with him. It nearly crushed him and he declared at that very moment he was going to do everything in his power to become the person that her parents would approve of. Now that he was that person, he realized that she might not like him. Life was simply unfair and at the moment, he hated it. Sighing softly, he shrugged again. “I took out some stocks in mobile suit manufacturing and decided that going into manufacturing might prove to be interesting. I still have my club though… This is my second year, I’m a lieutenant. I didn’t know where you were… and I thought it best if I left you alone until I was able to prove myself to your parents. I know why you broke up with me, Aurora. It was because I wasn’t in the same social class as your family…”

Aurora: Aurora instantly looked away from Zane as she felt her cheeks starting to change color. Shit... Now she wasn't sure what to say. “M-Zane...” She paused noticing a few people staring at the two of them and well it made her nervous. “This isn't the place...and...” She sighed going to step out of the line. “I don't think I'm hungry anymore...it was good seeing you again.”

Zane: “So, just like that you are walking away from me again? Aurora, I want a second chance… at least talk to me about things that have happened since we last spoke. We don’t have to do it here. We can go back to my room or yours, it doesn’t matter which. Please don’t just walk away from me again.” He didn’t care that people were staring. The only thing he cared about in that very instant was the woman standing in front of him. He felt a million emotions rushing forth and felt like screaming at the top of his lungs. However, that would bring unneeded attention towards them and would probably embarrass her more than him.

Aurora: Her cheeks turned an instant shade of brighter red when he mentioned them going back to one of their rooms, and of course the sound of giggling didn't help things better. This was way too dramatic. Sighing heavily the girl turned around putting a hand on her cheek, “Zane...” Her eyes danced over him thinking back over the times they had together. So she still had feelings for him, but well things were complicated. “Ok. Fine...lets just try to make it quick alright...I don't want to miss class.”

Zane: “First off… just call me Matty. Having the name Zane come from your lips is just too strange. I’m the same man I was way back when you and I hung out in the club. The only thing that’s changed is I’m not living from day to day worrying about whether or not I’m going to die.” Smiling faintly, he stepped out of the line and motioned her out of the cafeteria. Once the two were in the corridor, he led her towards his room, figuring it was closer to most of the classes. He had already missed one of his classes, but at the moment, he didn’t care. Pulling out his key, he opened the door and stepped inside, motioning for Aurora to come on in.

Aurora: Great so he hadn't moved on? Well maybe that was-the girl stopped herself from thinking like that and just stayed silent. Once they were in the room Aurora looked up at Matty, "I'm glad you survived the attack..."

Zane: “I’m glad you weren’t there. I honestly never thought I would see you again, Aurora. I’m glad you’re doing so well for yourself. I’m not here to suffocate you and make you uncomfortable. Just say the world and when we part ways, I’ll make it so we never see each other again. Before than happens, I just want you to know that yes, I still am in love with you and I would love to know what has happened in your life lately.”

Aurora: She moved over to the bed going to sit down on it. "Well...just been doing what my parents want me too." She smirked a bit. "Including coming here to school..." Shifting a bit on the bed the girl's blue eyes scanned the floor, "Last night...Faith got kidnapped Matty..."

Zane: Chuckling, Zane wasn’t a bit surprised that she was at the school because of her parents. The girl enjoyed money and therefore was at her parent’s very whims. His chuckle ended abruptly with the second part of her sentence. Faith was kidnapped? Kidnapped from where…? Wait, upon thinking about it, he did recall word about a troublemaker on the ship and putting two and two together was rather easy. Groaning, he rubbed his forehead and sat down beside Aurora, holding her hand. “Kidnapped how? Wait, does this have to do with the hangar incident? I heard two students escaped in a Gundam, but I didn’t hear who they were.”

Aurora: Swallowing hard Aurora let Zane take a hold of her hand and then nodded, "Yes, it was them Matty. A student named Fujii kidnapped Faith." She sighed heavily, "God...I'm so worried Matty and there's nothing I can do. I've never felt so stupid and useless." Sighing she went to stand up letting go of his hand. "I should be able just to fix this you know..."

Zane: “Aurora… she’s a fighter. You of all people should know she’ll be okay. Hell, I wager she’ll be back to cause trouble to this poor Academy soon enough. There are some things you can’t fix and other things that deserve second chances.” Glancing up at her, he smiled slightly before sliding to his feet. Kissing her cheek, he grabbed his backpack and slid the straps over his shoulders. Heading for his door, he opened it up and nodded towards Aurora. “Well toots, we best get to class. Keep your chin up and I hope you’ll go on a date with me soon.”

Aurora: He kissed her? He kissed her! Aurora started to fume a bit. She didn't give him her permission and well even though she kind of-no it still didn't give him the right. Huffing the girl walked out of the room past him, "Matty...I know your right about Faith it’s just...I still worry." Exiting his room she decided it would be better not to make a comment about the date thing. "I'll see you around..." And with that the girl headed off to her first class.
"Don't worry, I'm going to kill somebody."

"Yippie-kay-yay, motherfucker."

Game Master Post

"Permission Granted, welcome aboard, Commander," a message sent in the form of an English voice was transmitted to the Nahal Rysen.

The deep and solid voice of the General could be heard resonating against the walls of the busy control room as everyone halted to listen, "As you are all aware, we have some very important guests with us. Natalia, show Commander Val Thrall to his room. Remus, see to it that Commander Ethan Tier and his crew gets a formal welcome and show them to their rooms. Inform them of the tournament - we could use their expertise for our judging panel. Their files have been sent to you if you need any background data. Thompson, organize a welcoming banquet for our guests and invite the students as well. We will announce the judges at that time."

"Very well, General," replied Natalia.

"Right away, General," stated Remus.

"I'm on it, General," stated Thompson.

--------------------------

The tall slender figure of Natalia paced through the hallway as she quickly scanned through Commander Thrall's file. He had a very impressive military background and when she spotted him in the hangar she was actually quite impressed by how young he still looked for his age. He certainly had a battered about look to him that she inferred came from his military career. Natalia instantly noticed the three scars running across his cheek and made a note to check his file on how he could have attained such a battle scar.

Natalia then bowed in formal greeting. "I am Lieutenant Natalia Xya of the Elite Four of the administration. Welcome to the Sanctus Gemini XX, home to this year's Gundam Pilot Academy. We are honored to have you here with us. The academy in a week's time will undergo an In-School Tournament and we would be forever grateful to have you take part in our judging panel. We also took the liberty of setting your room up in the administrative quarter. If you would please follow me, I will take you there shortly. On behalf of the administrative staff and the Elite Four here at the Academy, we would like to welcome you to the faculty. A new section in Military Tactics has been opened upon your arrival. You may begin your class at anytime."

She then motioned for him to follow as the other officials began to follow her with the Commander's bags.

--------------------------

Remus stared blankly puzzled at Commander Ethan Tier's file as he made his way toward the dock. The short, heavyset balding man continued as the Commander's file seems to have recorded everything from mid-life on, without any information or recollection of the Commander's past. "How peculiar..." he mumbled as he reached the dock, awaiting the arrival of the mysterious Commander.

"It's as if he magically appeared one day and started working with a lot of big names in manufacturing," he exclaimed to one of the officers beside him. As a result of short notice, they were only able to provide the Commander and his crew with rooms on the same floor as the main control room.

Remus had already rehearsed in his head about five times what he was going to say to the Commander when he stepped off of the Nahal Rysen.

'Commander Ethan Tier, I am Lieutenant Remus Atlys of the Elite Four of the administration. On behalf of the administrative staff and the Elite Four, I would like to welcome you to the Sanctus Gemini XX, home of this year's Gundam Pilot Academy. You look absolutely stunning today sir, if I may inquire! In a week's time, the Academy will hold it's 13th Annual In-School Tournament and we would be honored if you could stay with us and participate in our panel of judges. Place come this way as I shall show you and your crew to your rooms.'

And he said just that.

--------------------------

The administration was reluctant to agree on a suitable punishment for the Elite Phire Captain who against strict Piloting rules and regulations left the hangar in pursuit of danger without authorization. The verdict was sent to Alaster Crowley of the Phire regiment in the form of a concise letter that read:

Elite Captain Alaster Damien Crowley of the Phire regiment,

The administration of the Gundam Pilot Academy regrets to inform you that your Piloting License has been suspended as a result of a clear violation of Article XXIV 204.003. Furthermore, we are aware that you are aware of the severity of your actions and therefore must inform you of your demotion in the Phire regiment from Elite Captain to Lieutenant. Please turn in your Elite Captain badge into the faculty at your convenience.

Have a pleasant day.

Signed,

The Administration

They tried to end it on a good note as the letter was placed in an envelope with the Academy seal on it. The letter was delivered by a Phire Private who was set out to look for Alaster.

--------------------------

Intercom - Attention students, at precisely 19:00 hours the Great Hall will be hosting a welcoming banquet for our new guests. Your attendance is not mandatory, but we urge you to attend. That is all.

By the time that the Phire private had reached the, previously high-ranking, student that was Alaster Crowley. Since the time he had grabbed the girl in the hangar, Alaster had worked off all of his excess emotion that had been building up and, consequentially, had put a small tear in one of the punching bags in the gym, and was now sitting in his room, thinking. He almost didn't even bother to get up from the spot on his bed, and just keep laying there... Almost, but in the end he got up.

At his door, Alaster found a moderately large student with a smart face, who looked like he would one day be a paragon of Phire regiment. Now, however, was not the time for such thoughts. As Alaster was handed an envelope, held shut by the a seal which he recognized right away, he would normally felt a great fear of what was to come, but he could not, at the moment, even force himself to really care...

"Wait just a minute," Was all Alaster said to the other student as he started to walk away, and Alaster started to read to himself.

Once "Lt.Crowley" had finished reading the sheet of paper, he only shook his head a bit and dismissed the one who had delivered the notice with a dismissive wave of his hand, and started walking toward the area he had to go to drop off his I.D., and possibly discuss terms of him leaving the academy.

-----------

Once he had gotten to where he needed to be, Alaster just sighed slightly, pacing outside the door. He didn't know whether to barge in and explain himself, making the administration out to be the bad guys here, or if he should just give up and ask if he could be discharged. He had no middle-ground in mind, and didn't see how he could keep staying here.

Alaster's reasoning for not wanting to stay was not for any bad memories of the place but rather, he didn't have enough true memories of the place for him to want to stay anymore. to him, the hallways now felt as hollow as they were empty. If he couldn't find a reason to stay, he had no one to protect. His father had died in a way close to how he had lost his arm, and he had no other family. His friends had all left him years ago, fed up with his attitude. Why should he protect anyone if he had no one he cared to give his life to save?

"A cumulative week-and-a-half between this term and last, when I got promoted, and now I'm demoted two... One step foreward and two steps back: Just how life is, eh old man?"

Back to School – Part 2

Location: The Academy
Time: Bright and still early

Students shift in their chairs, heads meet desks, and contagious yawns liter the classroom as the students restlessly listen to Kato ramble on about whatever it is she's been saying for the last hour...

Intercom: Kato-Sensei, please report to the rec room, you have a visitor.

Kato: Excuse me class, I have some important business to attend to.

An unspoken, 'Thank God!', rings throughout the classroom as Kato exits the room.

As the door closes behind her, Hitomi tosses a bubblegum wrapper at Amber, hitting her squarely in the back of the head.

Amber: What the hell?!

Amber snaps her head around looking for the culprit. Hitomi looks at her smugly sporting a Cheshire cat grin. She motions for Amber to come over to her.

Hitomi: Come here you.

Amber: The name’s Amb --

Hitomi: Your name is whatever I want it to be.

Amber glares at Hitomi, visibly annoyed.

Amber: I’m going to kick that little ass of yours!

Hitomi stands up and gets uncomfortably close to Amber. She presses her forehead into Amber's and speaks through her teeth.

Hitomi: Sure, you could try but I’d leave you eating your meals through a straw for the next 3 months. Not to mention I’d have your ass sent to the brig.

Amber looks at Hitomi startled and a bit shocked.

Amber: The brig? What?

Hitomi: Oh, you know, the place where dumb bitches that assault their superior officers go after getting their teeth kicked in?

Amber backs away from Hitomi slightly and now looks at her with disgusted.

Amber: You’re gonna pull rank on me like that? What kind of shit is that?

Hitomi: The kind of shit you just stepped knee deep into when you decided you wanted to climb aboard the fuck with me express! Now you want to talk about pulling rank huh?

Hitomi shoves Amber into her desk.

Hitomi: Well? Answer?

Amber: Well, it’s just that --

Hitomi: Kneel…

Amber: Excuse me.

Hitomi: Get down on your knees. My boots need polishing.

Amber: T-this, this is crazy. It’s not right...

Hitomi: Don’t make me tell you again.

Reluctantly Amber drops to one knee. She quivers as she lowers her head to Hitomi’s boot. She looks up at Hitomi for any sign of mercy. There is none. Hitomi’s face is that of stone, her eyes burning with disdain and rage.

Back to School Part 3

Location: Hitomi’s quarters
Time: Mid-Afternoon

Hitomi lies on her bed, spread out like the Vitruvian Man. She’s staring out the window, watching the stars and looking out towards the unknown. She wishes she was anywhere but there. Her first day among the Phire Regiment was very taxing to her morale to say the least. She wipes her eyes instinctively anticipating the tears. They fall as if on cue as she reminisces about the situation that got her there.

A few days ago…

About a dozen students from the Lain Regiment are sitting in an empty room. There’s a heated argument in progress.

Dimitri : Are you fucking nuts? No, no I’m serious! I want to know, lemme see your files so I can read with my own two fucking eyes that you’re legally insane! Because that’s the only way you could possibly think this is a good idea.

Kate: I think it’s a good idea…

Dimitri : Jesus Christ! I didn’t realize that mental illness was contagious! It must be airborne or something.

Hitomti: Will you cut it out! If you’re scared, just say so, the rest of us know that we need to do this!

Dimitri : Look little miss I graduated at the top of my class and made Captain before my first period, but do you even listen to yourself when you speak? We NEED to do this? The only thing we need to do is drag your ass to the infirmary for a psych evaluation.

Hitomi grits her teeth and a takes a step toward Dimitri . He towers over her looking at her and getting more agitated by the second. She looks like a child compared to him. Undeterred she takes another step towards him. Dimitri leans forward so that she can look her directly in the eyes. He’s so close that his dreadlocks slap her in the face. She bites down harder, as her pale skin transforms to a tomato red.

Dimitri : What?

Hitomi grabs Dimitri by the collar and open mouth kisses him. Dimitri backs away, still angry but more so confused.

Hitomi: Calm down.

Hitomi turns back to the rest of the students and begins to address them. Dimitri slides to the back of the group, noticeably embarrassed.

Hitomi: Now that I have everyone’s attention, we need to be clear on the rules. You follow my lead. Don’t deviate from the plan unless I instruct you to. Got it? This is probably going to be the most dangerous thing any of you have ever been a part of and I don’t need the guilt trip of knowing that I got you, especially you…

Hitomi points directly at Dimitri , who’s trying to hide his face, but he’s conspicuous to say the least with his abnormal height. Hitomi continues with even more fervor.

Hitomi: …sent home in a body bag. Any questions?

A large girl with red hair and a fresh scar under her cheek raises her hand innocently.

Hitomi: Yes Vanessa?

Vanessa: Why are we doing this again? I mean I know why, because like we need to bring back those Gundams before they’re able to cause any more damage then they already have. But I mean, more so, why us?

Hitomi looks a bit shocked at her line of questioning. But she’s even more excited to get a chance to explain.

Hitomi: Well Vanessa, I’m glad you asked. I choose each one of you for a particular purpose. Not simply because you all swim in the deep end of the talent pool but more importantly because I know I can count on you all to cover my ass even in the worse possible scenario…

Sometime later…

Half a dozen mobile suits led by a Gundam travel towards the last known location of the rogue Gundams.

Kate: You sure you know where you’re going Hitomi?

Hitomi: Of course, I’m an expert tracker. I recorded their energy signals that each Gundam leaves. All I have to do is chart a flight path and we’ll catch up to them in --

Hitomi words trail off as she comes to a dead stop.

Vanessa: Oh My God!

Demitrei: See! I told you this would happen! We’re gonna get shit canned for sure!

Hitomi: G-guys, just maintain formation. O-okay…okay! Turn off your transponders and don’t respond to their attempts to contact you.

Kate: Then what?

Hitomi: Then we continue as planned, they’re not going to stop us.

Dimitri : If we survive this I’m going to personally escort you to the on-site psychiatrist.

Even armed to the teeth, fear and anxiety overwhelm the students as they stand in awe at the Academy’s reconnaissance fleet.

Kate: We’re SO dead.

Hitomi: N-no! We’re not…j-just keep moving forward! J-just…

Hitomi looks over her shoulder as Academy Mobile suits surround them. Simultaneously, their communicators get switched to the same frequency. A calm but authoritative voice transmits orders to the students.

Voice: Disengage your weapons systems and follow the white and blue medical mobile suits back to the Sanctuc Gemini XX.

Like clockwork all the students in their mobile suits do what’s told to them. However the Gundam, piloted by Hitomi, stands her ground.

Voice: Ms. Mirua.

The hairs on the back of Hitomi’s neck stand up as she floats there, scared stiff.

Voice: Ms. Mirua. Comply at once.

Hitomi glances over at the mobile suits returning to the Academy and notices Dimitri looking at her with disapproval. Even in his mobile suit she can see his expression in her mind; him shaking his head and rambling about how he told her so.

Voice: Ms. Murua. This is your last warning.

Hitomi clenches her fist and finds some buried courage.

Hitomi: Hey you! You stupid voice! You want me back in that floating scrap heap, you’re gonna have to drag me kicking and screaming!

Voice: Very well.

The hanger of the Sanctuc Gemini XX opens and a prototype Gundam emerges. It’s being piloted by General Edwin Armitage.

General: Insubordinate child. I’m going to dismantle that Gundam, you’ll be lucky if you can pilot a repair drone after I’m through with you.

Hitomi: Kakatte Kina!!

The General’s weaponless Gundam stands before Hitomi, anticipating her action.

General: If you can fight as well as you talk then maybe I’ll allow you to keep the scraps of that Gundam as a memory of this lesson.

Hitomi: Y-you, you bastard!

Hitomi rushes the General and slices at his throat with her energy blade. The General effortlessly sidesteps her attack.

Hitomi: Damnit!

The General snatches out at her Gundam, grabs it by the wrist and disarms her in one motion.

General: Children shouldn’t be playing with such dangerous toys.

Hitomi: And how the hell would you know?!

Angered, Hitomi pulls out her side arm and points it to the General’s face. He does the same move but this time Hitomi is ready for him. He still disarms her but this time he takes a kick to the face for his troubles.

The General staggers back both embarrassed and impressed at the same time.

General: No more games.

The General pulls out a small blade and rockets towards Hitomi. He faints a thrust to the body, when she goes to dodge; he changes direction and slices the arm of her Gundam. Before Hitomi can even register what just happened, both of her legs get hit in succession.

General: You should be more or less immobilized. Surrender and come aboard.

Hitomi: F-f-

Short of breath and struggling to move at all, Hitomi zeros in on the General with her functioning arm.

Hitomi: Fuck You!

Hitomi throws a haymaker concentrating all of her Gundam’s energies into the punch. The General sees it at the last moment, having let his guard down momentarily.

General: You little --.

The General catches the punch with both hands, but the force behind the punch is enough to cause some significant damage to the exterior of his Gundam.

General: Time to put an end to this!

The General, still holding onto the hand of Hitomi’s Gundam, sends a tidal wave of electricity into Hitomi’s Gundam; overloading it’s circuits and shutting it down completely. The General motions for the mobile suits to take her aboard. Hitomi glares at the General as she slips out of consciousness.

The General: Take her away.

Meanwhile, in the present…

Hitomi wipes the last of her tears from her face, somberly sliding out of bed. Laid atop her dresser is an opened envelope. Hitomi takes the letter out of the envelope and stares at it. Just looking over the words but not actually re-reading it. She just stares, ashamed, angry but more motivated than ever. She makes a fist, crushing the letter in her hand. She then picks up her uniform and begins to rip the patches off. As her patches decorate the floor she tosses what’s left of her ragged uniform onto the ground. She then picks up a picture of her with her parents when she first entered the Academy. Even then, at 13 she was seeping with determination.

Hitomi: One day I’ll show you. You sonuvabitch…

She sets the picture down and looks outside her window; feeling so small, so insignificant in relation to the vastness of space.

Hitomi: One day…

After his Psi Gundam had been locked away, Ethan lowered himself down via zip line. He took in the setting quickly, eyes tracking the various movement around him. Then something caught his attention. His eyes narrowed slightly, his head turning sharply. He sensed someone familiar within the Academy vessel. A warm smile crossed his face, but it soon faded to a more serious look. Dressed in his standard issue Vanguard Prime pilot uniform, he unzipped his blue pilots jacket half way. His right hand reached inside searching for something as he exited the air lock.

“Commander Ethan Tier, I am Lieutenant Remus Atlys of the Elite Four of the administration. Place come this way as I shall show you and your crew to your rooms.”

“Pre-rehearsed,” the Commander asked with a sly smile crossing his face.

“Be nice, Commander,” a voice called from behind. Captain Eota Mars walked up behind him. His white hair was cut short, a navel hat atop his head clearly identifying his rank. Ethan stepped aside, saluting, for Eota to walk in front of the stocky Academy official. “I'm Captain Eota Mars of the Nahel Rysen, we represent Vanguard Prime, the Joint Operations Task Force between the Earth and Colonies.”

“Also, pre-rehearsed,” Ethan said below his breath, while removing a pair of dark sunglasses from inside his jacket. Remus began leading them down the hallways, “A tournament? Kind of odd throwing such an activity after a hostile action made by a known terrorist,” there was something behind Ethan's words, as if he knew more than what he was letting on to, “or are you considering a forty year old still one of your students?”

“Ahem,” Eota interrupted Ethan sternly, “What my subordinate is getting at, is there is much that needs to be discussed with your superiors regarding Fujii Griffon and what has taken place here. I suggest we skip the formalities.”

“Attention students,” an intercom announced, “at precisely 19:00 hours the Great Hall will be hosting a welcoming banquet for our new guests. Your attendance is not mandatory, but we urge you to attend. That is all.”

“A banquet,” Ethan continued to smirk, “we certainly can't skip such a formality as that.”

Vae is usually extremely tolerant but once a certain line is crossed, she finds it difficult to contain herself. In this case, the only thing she couldn't stand more than an over-ranked newbie was the misuse of power. She found it difficult to believe that this child was considered to be her equal in the eyes of the administration. She held her tongue and apathetically closed her eyes as the class crowded around their new "captain" and the cowering Lieutenant Amber. Her arms were lazily crossed in front of her as she tried to calm herself, keeping herself from causing a larger scene than it already was.

----------------------

Things have already calmed down by the time the Professor came back. After telling all of the students to get back to their seats she briefly continued on with the lesson as Vae had her hands balled up in a fist, clenched as a result of the anger that built up inside of her. As class let out Vae slowly filed out with her towel still slung over her shoulders.

Her dark teal hair was completely dry by now as it spiked up in a choppy manner, the ends of it brushing lightly past her neck. Girls from her class caught up with her as they couldn't help but gossip,"Did you see that?! She's insane!!"

Then one of the younger girls turned to her,"Vae, why didn't you do anything?"

That was about all she could handle from this pseudo-captain. Pulling her towel off of her shoulders, she roughly tossed it onto the ground as she swiftly began to weave through the students in the hallway. With her PDA in hand, she quickly pulled up the student directory and in no time retrieved the room number of the ex-Lain Captain.

Without stopping, Vae was only a few meters away from Hitomi's door as she swiftly jumped into the air. There were only a few students within earshot when Vae twirled around midair and extended her foot out behind her as her back was to the door. Her foot came through the door first before her other foot landed lightly with trained balance.

Combined post by Hitomi and yours truly

<Hitomi>: Hitomi jumps off of her bed, startled. She glances at her door, knocked off the hinges, now lying on the floor. She locks eyes with Captain Vae, almost in awe. But she's only star struck for a moment and almost immediately shakes off the cob webs and puts on her war face. She’s breathing heavy, glaring at Vae. Hitomi yells, "What the hell are you doing here?"

<Vae>: As her extended foot was placed on the ground right in front of her back foot, Vae straightened herself up as students around the area crowded around in curiosity. “I was just about to ask you the same thing,” she replied sternly. “I don’t care what kind of strings you pulled with the administration here but I did NOT bust my ass in this academy to earn my rank as a Phire Captain only to be considered YOUR equal,” Vae’s hazel eyes locked with Hitomi’s dust from the broken door began to clear.

<Hitomi>: Reeling from Vae’s comment, Hitomi clenches her fist. “Oh, I’m not your equal at all,” Hitomi coyly exclaims. She calmly walks towards Vae, flashing her fangs just waiting for an opening to attack. “I’m superior in everyway, and I’ll prove it to you right now!”

<Vae>: Another thing Vae couldn’t stand more than an over-ranked newbie who misuses their powers was an arrogant one!! She slid her leg back so as to face Hitomi in a fully defensive stance as her mechanical phoenix finally caught up to her. As it was programmed to sense danger, the phoenix’s eyes began glow red, switching itself into attack mode. “Ryu, stand down. I got this,” she commanded as the phoenix’s eyes turned back into a shade of blue.

<Hitomi>: “What the hell?”, Hitomi mouths as she looks curiously at the phoenix’s glowing red eyes. She quickly regains her composure and smirks at Vae. She relaxes, unclenches her fists. Then she turns her back on Vae. “Go home; I don’t have time for your games.”

<Vae>: "So much for Miss Superior," Vae spit out as she relaxed her stance. "You're in my territory now and I WILL NOT have you pull the same shit as you did in Lain. If I find so much as a hair crossing the line, I'll make you wish that you were back in Lain." Turning, her back faces Hitomi as she slowly begins to pace away,"Lets go Ryu."

<Hitomi>: “One last thing Vae,” Hitomi says with a devilish grin. “I wouldn’t want you to leave empty handed.” Hitomi spins around and sucker punches Vae from behind. “Don’t you tell me what to do! No one tells me what to do!”

<Vae>: Taking the blow from behind, her head is sent forward as Vae twirls around, grasping onto her opponent's wrist. Using the whiplash momentum, Vae pulls Hitomi's body into her balled up fist as she stumbles back dizzily. "Cowards do not belong in my regiment," Vae stated gravely.

<Hitomi>: “Then what are you doing here!?” Hitomi barely spits out as she eats the full force of Vae's blow. She attempts to throws a round house to Vae’s head, but with the wind knocked out of her she slips and instead topples into Vae. Their heads collide with a sickening thud.

Duel between Essentials and myself. I present to you... the double "F's!"

Fujii: "Excuse me, but do I look like I'm shitting you?" He looked her up and down. "Don't need my help to make yourself better? Girl you don't have the real scent of the battlefield in your veins...You can't look your enemy in the eye as you tear them down can you. You're an unrefined brandished blade without so much as a sheath to keep it from cutting everything in it's path. I will be your gentle sheath my dear." He smiled "Allow me to make sure your blade is undefeatable."

Faith: “Last time I checked, fighting for ones life in the middle of a gang-infested shithole WAS fighting on a battlefield.” Narrowing her eyes, she found herself growing defensive in front of a man she previously was falling all over. Her emotions were becoming scattered and it was rather annoying. Taking in a few deep breaths, she released them slowly and tried to keep from blowing up at him. “How are you planning on doing all of this?”

Fujii: "Formal training from myself. Also I'd like to see which "system" you are approachable for. I believe you have the makings of someone capable of handling something similar to myself." walking up to her he put a hand on her shoulder and leaned in to whisper at her ear. "You'll see what I mean at a battlefield. Something entirely different from survival in the wild, but fear not no harsh animal will lay their hand on you here. I am the only beast in this jungle and my fangs and claws will protect you." He withdrew the placed hand and moved towards a door. "Let's show you to your room."

Faith: Formal training, hmm? That did have a few perks to it, since she pretty much trained herself everything she knew. Granted, that was a lot, but having formal training did give her an edge she lacked before. After all it was Fujii who slammed his bokken into her face at the dance. If she could have that power in addition to what she already had, no one would fuck with her. Pondering on it a little, she found herself chewing on her bottom lip, per usual. Shifting her head as he placed his hand on her shoulder, she further pondered his words before finally shrugging and following him to the door. “Alright, I’m game as long as you keep any doctors away from me. That means no testing or anything on me without my permission, understand?”

Fujii: "Understood." He grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to him. "Keep close. This is a resource satellite after all. This is one of many installations under my watch. Currently this is a storage for a few mass produced models and barracks for those who pilot them." Together they would go down corridors till finally reaching a double doored room. "This is my quarters." Pushing the door he entered into it. "I hope this accommodates you." It was a room much like what you imagined a pirate captain to have, rustic, and filled with antiques of the world long forgotten and replaced by irrevocable knowledge and technology that made them just what they are "relics of an age forgotten."

Faith: She followed closely and attempted to put aside the uneasy feeling she had from the satellite. It didn’t help that he cautioned her to keep close. It was like at any moment someone was going to leap out and kill her. In fact, did she just walk into a trap? No, he wouldn’t let harm befall her, he just said so himself. That of course made her think of what Aurora had said about her barely knowing him. Does sleeping with someone automatically make you something more than sex partners? She wasn’t sure of the answer and wasn’t really sure she wanted to know the answer to that riddle. Sighing softly as she walked into his quarters and glanced around, she couldn’t help but be impressed with how large the place was. Much better than the dorms at the Academy… Aurora would definitely be jealous. “It’s nice… so, umm… what’s the first step?” She couldn’t bring herself to tell him that the only way she was going to become like him was to completely brainwash her in order to strip her of her humanity. That was something that was better kept inside for her well being.

Fujii: "Basics of combat, then strategy. That shit they teach at the academy was useless." His words trailed behind him as he stripped and walked into his washroom at the same time. "But if you don't mind I'll have you go to one of medical rooms for a compatibility check." After a brief interlude of himself being the washroom he exited in his pristine uniform, save for the T shirt he wore, and his jacket resting over his shoulders. "It won't hurt a bit, it's just reading your brainwave activity."

Faith: “Err… I don’t like doctors. I can trust you, right…?” Her eyes watched as he walked into the washroom, stripping on the way. Her face turned bright red upon instinct and for a minute, she had troubles remembering what it was she was going to say. Running a few fingers through her blond hair, she swore under her breath and was glad she wasn’t a man because her arousal would be quite evident. Trying to stop blushing, she couldn’t help but stare as he came back out. Shaking her head, she almost smacked it before remembering how much that would hurt, not to mention the fact that she wasn’t in the best of shape, physically thanks to her many injuries over the last few days. “Alright, lead the way. Do I need to wash up or anything? Get in a quicky? Change?”

Fujii: "Get in a quicky" His brow quirked for a moment, and he stared at her. "Heh." sauntering over to her, he pushed her down on his bed, locking lips with her, his arms fondling and embracing all the same. "Is this along the lines of what you meant?"

Faith: She had to stop herself from reacting on instinct as he came at her. However, the moment he kissed her, Faith felt herself melting all over again. That wasn’t a good thing because that generally meant one would be able to do whatever while she’s in a melted state. Shaking her head, she realized she was missing out on a good kiss and kissed him back, her arms wrapping around his back. “Heh, something like this.”

Fujii: That initial kiss led of course to other things, perhaps a bit of "calisthenics" to loosen up things up a bit. And hours did pass by. Sitting up in bed, he reached over to a pack of cigs sitting on a table near the bed, and promptly lit one. Inhaling a mixed taste of conquest and smoke. "I bet that was more along the lines of what you spoke." He laughed crassly and billow of smoke escaping his mouth.

Faith: Even as they continued what had been started on the ship, Faith realized that she needed to focus a lot more than she currently was. Still, it was a hard task for her, especially when he purposely led her on! Stretching out beside him after it was all said and done, she couldn’t help but grin. Resting her head against his shoulder, she hijacked his cigarette and put it to her lips, inhaling deeply before slowly releasing. “Hmm, that it was. I suppose we should get to the doctor?”

Silently hovering through the vast vacuum of space, a collection of memories echoes its very walls as it nears the Sanctus Gemini XX. Where great men have navigated, and even greater men have fallen. Where lovers were bound by the twisted ties of fate, and found their sanctuary. Where everlasting friendships thrived, even through the solid barriers of death. All have yet to be forgotten in the great entity known as Pegasus.

Light static, followed by a solid yet calming female voice was transmitted through the radio.

This is Commander Mia Siserae of Sigma Phi, requesting permission to board.

The reply was immediate and in the form of an English voice.

Permission granted. We have been awaiting your return, Commander.

Fingertips switched off the radio signal as the Pegasus slowly eased its way into the docking bay. A tall slender figure twirled around as her long black trenchcoat baring the }{G emblem flowed swiftly behind. Her long black and tinted red-highlighted hair had grown back to its original length, its tips lightly grazing past her chest. Under her opened trenchcoat, she had on a white jumpsuit baring the Sigma Phi logo along with a small black medical belt slung around her waist.

Years had past since she last visited the Academy. She had spent many years in the Academy as she was one of the co-founders. There had been reports of trouble brewing within the Academy so naturally, like a mother hen to its offspring, she felt the need to protect and immediately set course to the Sanctus Gemini XX. Along with her was a very talented Sigma Phi student who had great potential. Along with the board at Sigma Phi, they were happy to sponsor him into the Gundam Pilot Academy.

Turning to a unit beside her she stated,"Bring Rufus Ganymede here, I think he may be in his room. I'd like to introduce him to the Academy."

"Right away, Commander."

He chuckled as Aurora huffed on her way out, he couldn’t help himself. It didn’t take a genius to realize he wasn’t supposed to kiss Ms. Von Drake without her permission. Still, it seemed like the right thing to do at the moment, but that was probably because he still loved her deep down. Watching her walk down the corridor, he found himself leaning against the door frame in complete awe. The girl could still make him swoon with just her walk. Granted, he didn’t expect to run into her and even though he did run into her, it wasn’t like the two were going to become boyfriend and girlfriend again. That much was obvious by the conversation they just had, but it didn’t hurt to ask. Shaking his head, he stepped back into his room, closing the door and locking it. There would be no classes for him today.

“Aurora… I should have told you. I just can’t yet… I’m sure you’ll understand or at least I hope so.”

Tossing his backpack onto the empty bed, Zane flopped down on his, stretching out. He had already alerted his teachers in regards to his absent and each one understood. Keeping secrets was a hard thing to do on a vessel, especially one filled with so many people, but it had worked for the last year and a half and would keep working until he gave permission to reveal why he had missed so many days. Most people chalked it as disciplinary or business and that was fine with him. The only two people that really mattered to him anymore was Aurora, who seemed a bit flabbergasted to see him and of course Faith, Ms. Missing in Action. Staring up at his ceiling, Schuyler found himself focusing on the past, when life was good.

“Oh Faith… what the hell have you gotten yourself into this time…?”

Closing his eyes to stop the tears from welling up, he couldn’t help but think of the last visit with the doctor. It was supposed to be a routine check up to make sure that he was healing properly from the attack on his club in West Port City. However, they found something else that made them schedule him for an entire day of testing and x-rays along with c-scans, and MRI’s. Weeks later, they called him into the office, sat him down with a clergyman of some nearby church and started explaining the test results in what might as well been a foreign language. He didn’t understand a word of it, not really although he shook his head and nodded a lot. In the end, the words he did understand was what meant the most anyways and those words were, incurable disease and a few months. That was all they gave him… a few months. Determined to prove the doctors wrong, he started fighting for his life more than ever before. Months turned into a year, which turned into more than that. The disease despite being incurable wasn’t getting worse, which apparently was a good thing. The lieutenant knew better than to get his hopes up and was at peace with the fact that one day his body would just give out and that would be that. Still, now that he found Aurora again… it made that realization suck immensely.

“Fuck the disease… I’m going to fight it and win. I’m going to get my best friend back, and I’m going to win the girl!”

Rufus:Rufus had been gawking at earth the entire trip. "Bubbly earth thingy..." He mumbled under his breath, it was a sore attempt to stave his nerves. In fact, the real reason he had been leaning over his window was his weakness. He could barely stand at the moment. It was someone rushing behind him that interrupted his thoughts. "Rufus! the Commander wishes to see you!" - Rufus gave no attempt to respond to his messenger, the nerves assured he'd stumble off to see her. His thin, bumbling figure made it's way through the ship and toward the Commander. That is where he stood, or wobbled, pending on the motion of the ship as it docked.

Mia:Lightly pacing through the corridors, her crew behind her was more than excited to return to the Academy. A lot of them were Gundam Pilot Academy graduates themselves and furthermore, this served as a bit of a vacation for them. Stopping before the exit as the doors slowly began to part with a ramp extending toward the ground, Mia patiently waited for the Sigma Phi student.

Rufus:Perhaps it was his weakened state, or the shifting of the ship, either way; Rufus had managed to find him and the floor getting very acquainted with each other. He had not yet realized the boots that were greeting his eyebrows with their blackened distaste. A slight roll of his body revealed he had arrived at his location. In as much a rush as he could muster, he stood and gave the commander his apologies and stuttered out his respects.

Mia:"I take it you're not quite used to flying yet," she spoke to him lightly as she motioned him over to her side. "Are you going to be alright, Rufus?" she asked as she placed her hand in a comforting manner onto his shoulder. Her deep lavender eyes gave him a reassuring look as she smiled at him.

Rufus:He gave a slight nod to his commander. "I think from the neck down, and the waist up I should be fine..." He tried his best to laugh at his own little joke. "I doubt I'll ever be used to this." A slight bump from the docking ship forced him to stumble in place." I just hope the station is nothing like this. " His pale face gave a slight shot to the ground as he avoided the lavender gaze.

Mia:"Sanctus Gemini XX is much, much larger than Pegasus. You should be alright. If not, I'm sure the medical wing has some motion sickness medication,"she replied to him. "Shall we?" she asks as they started making their way through the exit and down the ramp. Before them stood the Elite Four which was composed of Remus, Natalia, Thompson, and the General himself. They were all waiting at the base of the ramp to greet the Co-Founder of the Academy as well as their newest student.

Rufus:He gave a slight nod in reply to her, and followed with haste. This was, in fact, a mistake. Tripping in front of your commander is one thing, the elite four? Well, Rufus soon learned how embarrassing that was. It had been a rather graceful glide down the ramp and onto the bay. His only reaction was to get up with a hasty salute and swipe the bit of blood from his nose.

Mia:Mia's eyes widened as her student went flying down the ramp right before the administration. Without waiting another second, she hopped off of the ramp and helped him up as her free hand reached into one of the compartments in her belt pulling out a napkin. She dabbed at his nose while apologizing to the administration. "You'll have to excuse Mister Ganymede, he's not quite used to flying yet."she nods to the Elite Four. The look on Remus' face was priceless. He looked as if he couldn't believe the student before him was the representative from Sigma Phi.

Rufus:He replied, hand still at his head in salutations. There was not a thought that had not yet crossed his mind. His heart raced as the commander apologized for his lack of coordination in this new environment. "I-I am pleased to work with-UNDER- all of you!" He said, amongst a few other things which required his constant correcting.

Mia:Natalia replied this time,"It's a pleasure to have you aboard with us, Mr. Ganymede." With a smile, Mia fuzzled his hair with her free hand. The General spoke shortly afterward,"On behalf of the Elite Four, it is our honor to welcome you back to the Gundam Pilot Academy, Commander Mia Siserae. We are also pleased to welcome our newest addition," he added nodding toward Rufus. "Rufus, Natalia will show you to your dorm room. Commander would you please accompany us to the control room as we have some matters to discuss." the General ended.Turning to Rufus she nodded to him,"You go and get settled down now. I'm sure I'll be seeing you before we leave." Natalia stepped forward as she motioned him to follow her,"Right this way Mr. Ganymede."

Rufus:It was with hesitation that he departed from his lavender eyed commander. He gave his slightest farewell before reluctantly departing with Natalia. He had many questions running through the compound mass in his head. The first to slip out was "Surely I can acquire something for my nerves?" His question was rather impromptu, but it was the first thing he could get his brain to coordinate with his mouth.

Mia:Natalia chuckled at his request,"The Commander tells us that you were an exceptional student at Sigma Phi. Our Medical Wing isn't nearly as advanced but we've tried our best to keep everything up to date. I'm sure we can find something for you there. Would you like to go to the Medical Wing before I show you to your room?" Her long blond hair was concealed in a tightly wrapped up bun as she sported the administration's white and silver uniform that cut short in a dress-like fashion just above her knees.

Rufus:The thought of a new medical facility distracted him from his illness. "Th- That might actually be the best of options. Mrs. Natalia." He had hoped that was the correct way of addressing her. He nervously followed, like a weary dog being led to a new home.
Sundown to sunrise worlds spin above our heads, and all we see are the faint flicker of light that provides them life from times long past.

<Zane_Schuyler>After a few minutes of sulking, Zane finally remembered that he was supposed to visit the med bay for his daily check-up. Rolling his crimson eyes, he slid to his feet and stretched to loosen up his frame. Glancing over at a makeshift mirror, he messed his hair, which happened to match his eyes up so it looked like it normally did. Grabbing his key and a few other personal items before strolling out of his room, Schuyler locked the door behind him and walked silently down the corridor. He could probably close his eyes and walk to the med bay without missing a beat and felt like doing that, but decided that there were too many students out. Adjusting his blue and black striped tie or rather loosening it, he straightened out his white shirt and dusted off his blue pants, making himself presentable. Before he knew it, he was in the med bay, sitting down to wait for a doctor to take his blood. "Another day in paradise…"

<Rufus_Ganymede> "...I just hope this ends up working." Rufus had already spoken to Natalie as she guided him toward the Med Bay. It had been a rather silent walk. Nerves and hesitation surrounded the air about Rufus, along with the slight nausea and dizziness. She quickly attained the medication he needed, which he took without a moment's hesitation. He took no time to notice those around him, only the thought of having a seat filled his current train of thought. Rufus led himself away from Natalie, unknowing to himself, and found a place to sit next to a few patients in the same quarters as himself.

<Vae> "VAE, GET AWAY FROM THERE!!" the shrill scream of a woman fill the air as the back of a wooden yard stick hit the back of little Vae's head. "VAE, STOP PLAYING WITH THAT!!" the same voice bellowed as the back of the woman's hand met the side of her cheek. "VAE!!!" "VAAAE!!!" Vae gasped awake as a throbbing pain pounded on the side of her forehead. Her hands were up in front of her face in an oddly familiar defensive gesture as the world around her came into view. She relaxed a bit as she realized that there wasn't a direct threat that was trying to beat her into submission at that moment. "Where...the hell am I?" she asked out loud realizing that she wasn't in her room. "What..happened?" she continued as she slowly began to remember her encounter with Hitomi. It then dawned on her that she was in the medbay and the last thing that she remembered was Hitomi coming toward her. Anger began to seep into her eyes as she mumbled to herself,"How the hell did I get into the Med Bay?! Where is she!?" Vae couldn't face anyone if she was defeated by that, that CHILD.

<Hitomi> Hitomi awoke in an unfamiliar place. Her head was pounding like she got hit with a sludge hammer. She looks around starting to recognize her surroundings. Clad in a hospital gown, she arises and begins to wander around. "How the hell did I end up here?" Hitomi asks herself. Separating her bed from the one next to her was a curtain. Out of curiosity she pulls the curtain back. Suddenly, everything comes rushing back as she lays her eyes on Vae. "That pompous bitch!" Hitomi thought. She hasn't got the best of me!

<Zane_Schuyler>Shifting his gaze over as another man took it upon himself to sit beside him, Zane arched a brow. Whoever the guy was, he was either new or was someone that was quiet. Point being, Schuyler hadn't seen him, which was a rare thing. Oddly enough, he had the type of personality that allowed him to talk to others easily. Removing his gaze from the boy to a couple of girls bickering, Zane couldn't help but think of Faith and her many fights. About to go over and assist, he let out a loud hiss as his arm was punctured by a large needle. Growling, almost yanking his arm free, he snapped his eyes, which were now filled with anger towards the nurse, who happened to be the one taking his blood. "Fucking aye, next time a little delicacy, eh!?" The nurse stammered and nodded her head over and over again, quickly saying how sorry she was. After the blood was drawn, she then indicated that today, the doctor wanted to speak to him. "Fine... I'll wait here." ...

<Rufus_Ganymede> The medication had taken it's toll already. The quick outburst of the man near him was only a faint murmur, as was the image of Natalie as she consoled him from worries of space life. He watched his fingers trail off into a distant void as his eyes shut. It was only a short moment of time that had passed. His eyes had opened. His eyes had opened again, to the site of Natalie smiling and letting him know the medication was done. In fact, it was. It had work so good that it nearly gave him a boost of confidence, nearly. Rufus was not one for sitting around when able, with that he stood and thanked Natalie. He had hoped she may guide him to his quarters. He glanced to her and asked as politely as he had done during his arrival. "Is there any way I could go to my quarters? I am ... " He hesitated to choose the right words, but during his thought, out slipped "rather tired." Thankfully Natalie had agreed to show him to his quarters. So far his trip to the station had been rather peaceful, a break that was needed from his rather rough ride to it. Rufus quietly followed Natalie out of the med bay and toward his living quarters. It had not dawned on him until now. One of the elite four was giving him a VIP tour to of the station. Chances like this rarely come by, so he'd decided to take his time with it and ask a few questions on the way back. Seeing as he felt substantially better, he also decided to attempt a pass of jokes now and again.

<Vae> She quickly shifted her gaze to the sound of the curtain beside her opening. Her eyes narrowed at the hospital gowned form of Hitomi and to be quite honest, Vae was never happier to see a person at the Med Bay. A questioning look fell upon Vae as she looked down at herself, noticing for the first time that she herself was in a gown as well. "What the hell did you do!?" she turned to Hitomi as her head continued to throb. Natalia motioned for Rufus to follow once again as a nurse dismissed him. "It's just right around the corner. We like to keep our medical students closer to the medical wing," she said to him as she led him back into the corridors.

<Hitomi> Hitomi grits her teeth as she nurses the large welt on her forehead from when she and Vae collided earlier. She opens her mouth to speak but no words come out. She simply growls savagely at Vae, her eyes burning with fury. Hitomi slide tackles Vae knocking her to the ground. She slickly transitions into a full mount using her expert Brazilian jujitsu and begins throwing punches at Vae's face furiously "You think you're so much better than me, huh? You have no idea what I've been through!" Hitomi yells.

<Zane_Schuyler>As he sat, waiting for the doctor, Zane watched the man sitting beside him get addressed by one of the Academy officials before being led off to his quarters. Apparently he was a med student and from the sound of it, was very new. Yawning, he glanced back towards the two females, trying to pick up what was being said between the two. Shaking his head, he slid to his feet and made his way over to the two. "So ladies, what's your story or do you just enjoy those gowns so much you came on your own free will?"

<Vae> With Hitomi on top of her, Vae luckily still had her arms to use to block her oncoming blows. Also well versed in the grappling arts, Vae then roughly bridged up to send Hitomi's petite form up as Vae pushed herself off of her elbows to get herself up. She follows up with a sprawl as she fully frees herself from Hitomi, moving her body on top of Hitomi's in a side mount. Without a moment's hesitation she slips her arm under Hitomi to gain control of her upper body and with her free hand grasps onto Hitomi's arm, extending it straight as Vae swings her leg up and over, wrapping her legs around Hitomi's arm in an armbar. "Who do you fucking think you are?!!"

<Hitomi> As Vae sinks in the arm bar, Hitomi instinctively rolls but not before taking some damage first. Hitomi scrambles to her feet, throwing a couple of knees to Vae's rib cage as she rises. She pauses for a moment and begins to calm down, intellectually assessing the situation. Rather than continue fighting with Vae, Hitomi cautiously backs up. "Who the fuck do I think I am? As I recall it was you who kicked down my door!" Hitomi cries; her eyes tearing up, as she begins to become overwhelmed by the whole situation.

<Zane_Schuyler>Blinking, Zane stood back as the two fought each other. He learned long ago when to keep out of a situation and this was that time. Shaking his head, he instead sat down on one of the beds and stretched out on his side, still watching the two silently. They were screaming at each other and appeared to hate each other as rivals often did. Tapping his fingers against his thigh, he couldn't help but smirk at them both. "Should I get the mud pit and bikinis?" ...

<Vae> After taking a knee to her side Vae also shuffled up after Hitomi slid back. As Vae was up on her knees now she was taken aback as she did not expect this reaction from Hitomi, watching tears beginning to form at the corners of her eyes. Getting up to her feet she replied back to Hitomi, "Next time I'll be sure it's your face that I kick if you fuck around with my regiment again." That was when she finally noticed the guy in the corner. Oddly enough he didn't seem phased by everything that was going on. Nurses began to gather around and helped Vae and Hitomi back onto the hospital beds, making sure this time there was a bit more space in between the two. Turning to the guy in the corner Vae apologized to him, "I'm sorry you had to see that." Since Zane had taken Hitomi's bed space, the nurse guiding Hitomi brought her a few more beds down, putting even more space between the two.

<Hitomi> As the nurse escorts Hitomi to her bed, she struggles violently. "Let go of me! Let go of me damnit!" Hitomi screams. "Ms. Mirua, please calm down." The nurse says calmly. Hitomi looks over her shoulder and watches Vae casually returning to her bed. Hitomi blushes a bit and begins to feel a bit silly about the way she was behaving. "I'm sorry" Hitomi says to the nurse. "I'll behave." After she had calmed down she didn't know why she was so upset in the first place. She was never one to start fights, well, not psychical ones anyway. But there was something about Vae that she couldn't explain that made her go absolutely primal.

<Zane_Schuyler>Shrugging towards the one that took a bed nearby the one he had hijacked, Zane was a little disappointed that they had finished fighting. He was even more disappointed that neither took up his offer of mud wrestling in bikini's. About to comment, he instead watched the other fighting with a nurse, who just happened to be the same nurse that had previously jabbed him with a needle. The moment she went to her bed quietly, he turned his attention back to the woman with teal hair. "Eh, it's not a problem. I'm from West Port City, California, which is/was the gang capital of Earth. Plus, I'm friends with Faith Blade who fights every ten minutes it seems."

<Vae> "Faith??" for a moment Vae forgot about the ex-Lain Captain Hitomi as her thoughts shifted to her neighbor who was kidnapped. "You knew Faith?!" and Vae was not about to mention it, but she could've sworn she's seen Zane somewhere before. He looked extremely familiar but she couldn't put her finger on it. "I didn't get a chance to meet her and she roomed right next to me," Vae said as she continued to wonder where she had seen him from. It could have been from recent years because his badges indicated that he was a Lieutenant. But she would have remembered that.

<Hitomi> Once the nurses leave the room, Hitomi sneaks out of her bed. She tippy toes over to where Vae is lying down; careful not to be spotted. She glances over at Zane lying in the bed between them. She gives him an odd look, wondering if he's been watching the whole time. She hides behind a curtain in front of Vae's bed. Hitomi begins to admire her long, flowing teal hair. As she scans her body she notices the bruises she left on her and begins to feel guilty. Hitomi bites her lip as she tippy toes back to her bed; hardly taking her eyes off of Vae.

Ross raised his hand as the waitress was passing next to the him.

"What would you like Sir?" Asked the waitress smiling happily.

"The first plate from the vegeterian menu please." Ross answered politely and saw the waitress going away. While waiting he took a look around him. The people in the cafeteria were staring at him. They surely were not used to seeing such a "mass of iron", as most of them were wearing light clothes which were not burdening their airships.

Ross coughed lightly and took out a small device in the size of a mobile phone. He was using it as a calendary, clock and to save information generally. He saw that today was the birthday of one of his best friends. "Hmm, after here i should go and find a phone to wish her happy birthday."

Taking a look around again he saw some drunk people making fun of him from the bar. "Just... Ignore them.." Ross thought. He was used to controling his anger and not used to hurting people for small reasons like that.

Because he was new there, he just arrived a few days before, Ross wondered if everyone there was so unfriendly. Until today he had no friends there so his opinion was the worst.

"I was never good at making friends anyway." He thought. "And my best friend, Will, is the reason i am here now. I owe him a lot. Maybe one day i will see him again and repay my depth." Ross coughed and looked again at the people who were making fun of him....

The door slid open before Eota, his eyes crossing the assigned quarters until they fell upon the Commander. Ethan was leaning forward, gazing out the large window his sunglasses removed and placed on a nearby table. Even from here Eota could see the warm look in his eyes and smile as he watched the Pegasus begin docking procedures. “She's a fine ship,” the Captain said walking closer.

“I'm surprised she still flies,” Ethan said with a sigh. Old memories rekindling, he was taken aback. His past was interwoven with the vessel. A ship that had been, in some way, involved in almost every single major conflict between the Earth and Colonies in the last thirty years. Ethan brought his hand up, pressing it up against the glass.

“Val's already here,” Eota broke the silence,

“I know, I sensed him earlier,” Ethan said with a nod.

“And now,” Eota crossed his arms, then raised his right hand to lower his Captain's hat, “that makes Mia here too. Do you think Fujii has anything involved with this reunion of sorts.”

Ethan closed his eyes, then slowly, he shook his head. “You can't be sure with him. I doubt he's had a direct involvement in this,” he paused for a moment, reopening his eyes, “reunion.”

Eota sensed the apprehension in Ethan's voice. “Han was right.”

“Hmm?” Ethan turned to look at Eota.

“You want to shoulder everything on your own. Take the blame for all the lives lost, all the wrongs committed, and now you hide away to appease both sides. You're not even seen as a martyr. You know, you were once a hero, do you even remember those days?”

“Heroes and villians,” Ethan interrupted, “are always two sides of the same coin. To you, and many others I was a savior, but on the other hand, to others I was a radical. A threat. A terrorist. All those words are thrown out, without much thought. I envisioned a world where neither the Earth nor her Colonies were controlled by corrupt men. I was made to be one of the greatest tacticians,” Ethan paused, walking away from the window towards the nearby table and picking up his sunglasses, “but when it came to leading a nation, I was never made for that.”

Eota looked confused. There was no bitterness in Ethan's voice. No tone of deep regret, but something more like acceptance. He found it oddly troubling, “then why did you join Vanguard Prime, why keep doing this?”

“Maybe,” Ethan slid his sunglasses over his eyes, a smile returning to his face, “maybe I just want to be a hero again.”

Fujii: Lighting a fresh cigarette he slinked out of bed, and into his clothes sliding them on effortlessly. "We shouldn't keep the doctor waiting any longer eh?", he turned to face her, his arms crossed at his chest. "I'm quite intrigued to see if you have the same potential as myself..."

Faith: Finishing the cigarette she hijacked from him, Faith finally climbed out of the bed and grabbed her own clothing. Glancing at them a moment before sliding into him, she couldn’t help but get paranoid at the prospect of going to see a doctor. What if he attempted to do more harm than good to her…? What if… damn the what if’s, damn them to hell.

Fujii: He exited the room, slowly making his way down the hall to one of the medical lab's where the tests were to be given. It was a simple very sterile room, with patient bad, doctor's desk, and various equipment for reading any number of things. As well the highlight of the room seemed to be a capsule hooked into a scanning computer this would examine the brainwave patterns, and tell if the person in question was indeed of higher standing then the rest of the human race. This is what Fujii fervently searched for.

Faith: Tossing the cigarette into the ashtray, Faith followed Fujii out of the room, glancing around the corridors with more interest than before. It was amazing what a little bit of R&R did for a person. Well, that kind of R&R at least. Slinking forward into the room, which reminded her of those rooms they have for mental patients, Blade couldn’t help but stumble forward and grab a hold of Fujii’s hand. Doctor’s make her nervous and the prospect of someone unknown to her messing with her brain waves, or rather testing her brainwaves, didn’t exactly settle her nerves. “…Meep.”

Fujii: The doctor was scolding Fujii for smoking in his facility and promptly made him extinguish the lit cigarette hanging from his mouth "Hah doc, you're no fun. It's not like Cigarettes can even deteriorate my health." he smiled, and looked at Faith. "Go, and lay down in the capsule it'll be over in a few moments after myself and sensei take a look at the read outs. "I want to see if you have that same samurai spirit I possess.

Faith: “If I wake up naked, you better be on top of me.” Smirking, she walked into the capsule and slid down on the bed. Gripping the sheets with both hands, she forced in a few breaths in order to relax. It took her counting to thirty to actually calm down, though deep down she was still paranoid and nervous.

Fujii: Walking over to the doctor, Fujii's eyes moved to the read outs, analyzing the data as it came to the screen with rapid movement, taking in each measurement almost instantly. The man surely was some kind of genetic monster himself. "Hmm interesting, switch to reading for this specific type frequency...ah yes that is exactly what I thought." He smiled, and patted the doctor on the back. "She can use "his" system after-all." Walking over to the capsule he waved, a hand to the doctor to stop the procedure and open it. "Well Sleeping Beauty the test is done. You can wake up now~!"

Faith: Whatever the test was, she didn’t feel a thing, which made her a very happy person. Sliding to her feet the moment Fujii opened the capsule up, Faith stretched with a huge yawn. Wake up? She hadn’t even gotten a chance to go to sleep. Then again, not sleeping meant they weren’t able to brainwash her and steal what little humanity she had left. Yawning again, she stepped out of the capsule, leaning lazily on Fujii. “That didn’t take very long. Am I as mentally insane as everyone says?”

Fujii: He smiled and tilted his head to one side "Insane?" he brought an arm around her. "I'm the only insane one here." He laughed, and went for the door tugging her along. "I'll be having you train with myself and Anubis for certain now. He is one of my "children". We have lots to prepare for and little time to do such."

Faith: “Little time? What’s the rush… you’re not sending me out to kill are you…? I thought maybe we’d go back to the Academy eventually… or something?” Blinking, she allowed herself to be tugged along, although the more she thought about it, the more confused she seemed to be. Part of her wanted to run far away, back to the Academy where she could enjoy the stupid trivial things with Aurora while the other half of her wanted to remain here and learn how to be a better fighter so that she could go back to West Port City and really clean up the city. “Hnn…”

Fujii: "Well we don't have to train exactly at this moment but for sure. There are hard battles ahead. This generation is weak but their numbers great, they need to see the value of the old. They've yet to understand the smell of the battlefield that clings to a person. I'll help them understand with the chaos I bring to them." He leaned her against a wall and sunk his head down, forehead touching her's "Do you think you can understand my ideals, and do what is necessary for the future?"

Faith: “I’ve been fighting all my life… I’ve held the body of my lover as he died protecting me. I … I don’t know, Fujii. I’ve killed a lot of people in my lifetime, probably innocents and I’ve seen a lot of innocent people die. I don’t know if I can deliberately hurt people just to teach them the smell of the battlefield, like you. I just…” Sighing, she leaned her forehead back against his, her stomach starting to knot up. Sliding a hand down to her stomach, she poked at it in irritation before leaning back away from him. Glancing to the ceiling, she counted to ten and tried to calm down the ‘fight or flight’ sensation.

Will: Slowly opening his eyes, William glanced at his clock, almost time for simulator class. The events in the hanger, prior to his little trip with Gabrielle, were still a blur to him, other than Faith was kidnapped. The boy yawned, rather loudly, his expression groggy.

Gabrielle: The attempt to sleep was fairly futile, so instead, Gabrielle found herself watching Will sleep across the room. Snickering softly, she wondered what kind of place would have co-ed rooms. Not like it mattered to her, but it would make changing difficult, especially since she quite enjoyed walking around naked. Oh well, things happened for a reason and as she watched him sleeping, Gabby couldn’t help but ponder on how adorable he looked. Stretching as he woke up, she couldn’t help but grin. “Sleep well? Look, I was wondering if maybe later on you would like to go get something to eat… together and umm, maybe go on a date or something?”

Will: Will had almost forgot Gabrielle was his roommate. "Yeah, I slept alright." He scratched the back of his head and neck, and stood up to stretch further. Being the Mary Sue he was, he of course turned red at the question of a date, however it was a much lighter tint. "Yeah, that would be great... I have a while before class if you would like to go...now..."

Gabrielle: Leaping to her feet, Gabrielle grinned widely and slid her fingers around his wrist, tugging him out of the room. Closing the door behind the two of them, Skye released his wrist and glanced around at the slightly busy halls. Leading the way to the cafeteria, she hummed a soft little tune and wiggled between a few students gossiping in the hallway. “Com’mon Wilbur!”

Will: Gabrielle surprised William quite a bit, grabbing his wrist and pulling him out the door and through the crowd. She seemed to go through the group fine, however he had a time trying not to bump into to many people. Seems the second things went back to normal, everyone was hunting down their friends to hear the latest on events. "I wonder if they have any breakfast still... What do you want Gabrielle?"

Gabrielle: “I’m not sure! I just know I’m famished and need some grub. An athlete has to keep her body in shape, ya know. Probably fruit and other items that is filled with nutrition.” Grabbing his wrist again, helping him through the thickening crowds in the corridor, Gabby couldn’t help but feel a little hot in the face from having direct contact with a male.

Will: "An Athlete? What sport do you play?" Go figure, Warinai didn't put two and two together. With her clothing and the shape of her frame, she had to play something. Coming to the end of the hall, Will could see the mess hall's open doors. It wasn't quite crowded as he stepped through the doorway. Everything and more awaited the boy as he grabbed two trays with his free hand, handing one to Gabrielle. <

Gabrielle: “Soccer, baby. That’s the only sport I will ever play. Oh, that reminds me… we should stop by the board and sign up for the tournament after we eat of course.” Grinning as she walked with him into the food place, Gabby kept one hand around his wrist, taking the tray in the other. However, upon realizing that she was going to have to take food with her other hand and eventually eat with both hands, she instead released his wrist for a second time and grabbed a salad, banana, apple, some grapes, and three waters. Heading through the line, she handed the clerk the money and yawned widely. It wasn’t really a date per say, but at least she was going to be able to get to know him better and break him of that shyness that was seeming to plague the boy.

Will: "Yeah, the tournament, I'm an medic and mechanic. I wonder what they will have for me to do..." Will followed her through the line, grabbing as close to a full breakfast as he could, his tray covered with several oranges, a cup of tea, and French toast. "Hmm... pardon the question, but you wouldn't happen to have the Simulators next class would you?"

Gabrielle: Sitting down at a nearly empty table, she yawned widely. Shifting her gaze towards him before setting down her tray, she shrugged a little bit at his comment about what he was supposed to do in the tournament as well as what class she had next. Eating as politely as possible, Gabby tried to recall what class she had next, this being especially hard since she just changed out her schedule. “Hmm… I do believe I have that class next! Cool, we can walk to class together! This day is getting better! Oh hey, you going to the banquet tonight? I thought maybe we could go together as a couple… errr… as friends!”

Will: This was odd, stranger than fiction to Warinai. Was this fate? This girl was his roommate, and for some reason unknown to him, she seemed to like him. Will used the piece of orange in his mouth to stall answering the last question.... WAIT! Did she say COUPLE?!... "Um.. I didn't even know there was a banquet... Yeah, I could escort you tonight..." Once again, the boy was blushing, this was certainly interesting.

Gabrielle: “Oh, they announced it while you were busy dreaming and making noises in your sleep. You looked adorable by the way.” Grinning, Gabrielle finished up her breakfast and sipped on her water, quite content and very much full. Patting her stomach, she shifted her gaze towards Will, studying him silently. For some reason, the boy seemed flustered that a girl would ask him out. Did he not get dates very often? Hell, she was surprised he didn’t have a girlfriend all ready. “Excellent! I think it’s time to go to our class now.” Sliding to her feet, she grabbed a hold of his wrist for the third time, pulling him to his feet.

Will: "Noises? Adorable?"... She was watching me sleep?.. Once again, he was tugged to his feet, however this time he was keeping up with her rather than being dragged. " So, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you have a love of Gundams..?"

Gabrielle: “In all honesty? No… Well, they’re awesome and all, but I really didn’t want to come here. See, I was recruited onto one of the top notch professional soccer teams on Earth, but my parents, who are noble assholes, decided that life wasn’t good enough for me. See, dad was a pilot and blah, blah and wanted me to follow in his boring footsteps. So, when I refused, he proceeded to beat the shit out of me, per usual and then had the limo driver take me to the space port and load me onto a shuttle while I was unconscious. I’m making the best out of it and am very glad I’m away from my abusive father, for now at least. How about you?”

Will: Warinai's blood began to boil as Gabrielle told why she was here. "What cruel person could harm their own daughter? What a monster..." The sheer thought that a man would beat his child enraged him. She questioned him on the subject. "Me? I can only hope they see fit to let me pilot a gundam.."

Gabrielle: “Don’t worry about it, Wilbur. He started abusing me as soon as he could without killing me. I’m used to it by now.” Shaking her head, she was glad of the subject change and decided to jump on it. “Ah… you will definitely make a great pilot someday soon! I just know it. You just gotta start standing up for yourself and perhaps growing a backbone when it comes to confrontation.” Pulling him into the class, she sat down, yoinking him down beside her.

Will: "Arigato Gabrielle, you have such kind words." It was a nice change to be complimented rather than insulted, Will enjoyed it quite a bit. It wasn't much of a wait before they were all in simulators, but it seemed Will was on the other team. "Well.. this is going to suck..." A voice came over his comm. "Just remember to use your gun this time kid." It was still an unsettling thought he was going to have to shoot people.

Gabrielle: Grinning at Will, Gabby wrinkled up her nose in concentration as she turned her attention towards the simulator. Just like when she played soccer, Skye became completely serious and didn’t let anything outside mess up her concentration. Even the slight giggling coming over the comm from a couple of her immature teammates didn’t phase her one bit. It didn’t take long before she was completely immersed in the exercise. She took out any of the enemy that got in her way and wound up saving four of her teammates from being killed. Hissing in irritation, she stepped up her game and started taking out more of the enemy until just a few remained.

Will: "Damn... she's good." Although he wasn't Lain, it didn't take much to see a losing fight. "Pull back to cover!" One of his teammates took a volley to the legs, dropping his MS to the ground. "Vasquez, grab Baker!" Will stood over his comrade, holding off the other team while someone assisted him. Making every shot count, Warinai would attempt to disable enemy Gundam's with hitting anything within several feet of the cockpit.

Gabrielle: Yawning a little, she itched her nose with the back of her hand, still firing at the enemy. Aiming her gun down a little, she fired at the legs of the remaining mechs before shifting her aim and taking out their arms so that they were unable to fire any hand held weapons. Shifting her aim again, she took out the remaining suits in front of her, save for Will’s. “Hmm.”

Will: The young pilot trainee watched as several enemies surround his MS. "You've got to be kidding..." Clearly he had lost, and he didn't think he could escape...Whatever, I've got nothing to lose... Warinai put the pedal to the medal, strafing to the right. Several bullets tore through the suit's arm, taking it off, but he was on the run.

Gabrielle: “His legs you fucking morons.” Growling slightly, she seriously thought about shooting her own teammates, but instead aimed lower and took out both of his legs as he was running in his suit. Leaning back afterward, Gabby stretched every inch of her body, well as well as one could in a seat.

Will: The instructor's turned off the Simulator, recording the results of the class. Will nearly fell out of his simulator, that was quite a beat down. "How was I the last one standing?" He strolled over to Gabrielle's machine. "I want to be on your team next time, you massacred us.."

Gabrielle: Grinning, Gabby leaned out of her own simulator and kissed him softly on the lips before leaping completely out of it. Striding out of the class room, she stepped into the hallway stretching again. Sometimes things were more difficult than they were supposed to be and this happened to be that time. Normally, she would have taken them all out without a single thought, but her feelings for Will clouded her judgment and could have lost her the entire simulation. “Hrm…”

Will: As Gabrielle gave him a light kiss, Will stood there like an idiot, blushing like normal. It took him a moment to snap out of it, and walk out of the class after her. "Hey, wait up." Turing into the hallway, Will stopped next to her. "Thanks for spending some time with me Gabrielle... I'll see you tonight at the banquet, maybe?"

Gabrielle: “Absolutely! I expect you to pick me up … in our room beforehand. I also expect you to look nice.” Grinning, Gabby kissed him on the lips again before heading back to the room, having a two hour break before her next class. Once inside, she slumped down on the bed, rubbing her forehead. “Oh Gabby, what the hell are you doing? He is cute though… and if I can help him with his troubles, then I shall.”

Will: "Alright, I will the-" Will was cut off by a second kiss, his last word muffled. The boy waved, his smile priceless. Once she was gone, he began on his way to the Med Wing for his next lesson.

Postby Mia Siserae on Thu Sep 11, 2008 6:22 pm

Mia Siserae

Despite the numerous suggestions to take a seat, Mia was standing and furious when the Elite Four proceeded to inform her about recent events. She didn’t realize how much of an impact her extended absence had made until she received a message that reported two Privates and an Elite Captain leaving the hangar. New developments at the Sigma Phi Institute had previously kept her occupied as she promptly took her leave while reported trouble was brewing at the Gundam Pilot Academy.

Mia became even more furious when the General mentioned that they were having the In-School tournament early this year to shift the focus from the escaping students to the tournament. Trying not to raise her voice she turned to the General, “How did you let two Privates escape?!”

“With all do respect, Commander, we did the best we could without opening fire. And before we could take further action, they were gone. Our fleet could not keep up with nor continue to track three Gundam-class Mobile Suits,” he answered.

“And what of the Elite Captain?” she continued.

“He returned and has been demoted to Lieutenant in the Phire regiment,” Remus answered.

“I also understand that there was an altercation involving a Lain Captain who retained her rank after being moved into the Phire regiment,” Mia’s eyes shifted to the General as she spoke.

“Commander I can explain--,” the General began as Mia interrupted, “Edwin, this is NOT why you were appointed. Resolve this matter immediately.”

“Yes, Commander,” replied General Edwin Armitage.

“Commander Siserae, I am not sure if you are aware, but there will be a welcoming banquet tonight honoring the arrival of Commander Ethan Tier, Commander Val Thrall, and yourself,” Natalia said as she was standing beside Mia.

She instantly began to calm down at the mention of the honoring names. It had been a very long while since she’s heard the name of “Ethan Tier.” It had been even longer since she had come across “Val Thrall.” Lost in thought, Mia rolled her shoulders back relaxing a bit as she wondered why Kiyoshi was still going under the name of Ethan Tier. She also began to relax because in her heart she knew that the Academy was safe, for now.

Mia understood why he had taken on the alias of Ethan Tier, as she herself had taken on a different name over a period of time. But after the establishment of the Academy, the Sigma Phi Institute needed her to return to lead the new developmental team.

One of her most vivid memories of Kiyoshi was when he was given the burden of informing her of Kaden’s death. She remembered it as if it were yesterday…

Kiyoshi:
Mia. There's something you should know. Kaden...Kaden is dead.

Mia:
No…no..That…that can’t be right—That can’t…He can’t…

Kaden: You know....I love you....

Mia gasped a bit as the flood of memories overwhelmed her, an uneasy look settling upon her. Her mind drifted back to the present as she turned to Natalia.

“Thank you, Natalia. I will see you all tonight then,” after nodding to everyone, Mia turned to take her leave as Natalia excused herself and followed her.

“It’s great to have you back, Commander,” Natalia whispered to Mia.

It had been a long night for Rufus, perhaps day. Whichever it had been, time passed as he fell into a deep slumber. His dreams of mobile suits were erratically interrupted by the nightmares of his old training days. Students of Sigma Phi were supposed to be the best medics there were, for that their training was a true burden to bear. They were put in the most realistic of scenarios.

Image
A training grade RGC 83 laid twisted askew on the rubble of an abandon desert village. Rufus was in a mad dash for the large suit. Blasts of weapon fire filled the air. A large scale battle was in its end stage. Rufus clambered over the twisted debris. He searched for life. The student was alive indeed. Rufus reached for his pack.

“YEAGHHHH, MY LEGS!!”

Rufus glanced down; there was more than one reason for the scream. The boys legs had been crushed by the cockpit denting inward, there was also an electrical fire beginning to work its way upwards on the students feet. Rufus could only think of one immediate solution to the problem. He reached for his serrated flip blade and morphine. He glanced towards the student. “I wouldn’t look if I were you.”

Rufus jumped awake. –Knock Knock- A soft sound rapped from his door. It was rather uninterrupting, not enough to wake him. It was just a simple coincidence. –Knock Knock- The sound gave a gentle echo that called out a specific message, “Please come open the door” It was a message without a voice. Rufus slowly worked his way to the gentle sound and released it from its trapping. The door slide open. “Natalia?”

“Impressive, remembering names already, are we?” She gave a soft hint of laughter. “I am sure you are unaware, so I took it upon myself to inform you. There is a welcoming banquet this evening in honor, partly, of your Commander.”

Rufus let the words soak in, a goofy sort of smile lingered upon his face.

“I would be happy to escort you there, and meet your fellow classmates.” She gave him a smile and allowed a response.

“Why I would be honored.” Yes, that’s what he wanted to say. It didn’t quite work, in fact it sounded like a dragged out “Whaander.” Which could be heard as “Water.” To those who could translate the language of idiocy. The look of confusion on Natalia’s face allowed Rufus to realize his moronic mistake.

“I’ll allow you to get ready, then I’ll show you your way. After that I must accompany Commander Siserae.” She gave a quick nod to Rufus.

“Oh right, of course!” He gave a hasty reply and bow. His inward thoughts punishing him already, of course she meant show him the way. Not go –with- him. “I’ll be ready when you get here!” He turned around and shut the door as Natalia parted ways. To which she could hear a bang against the door and a slight murmur. Rufus had closed the door on his outfit as he turned around. Apparently you do not attempt to lean against doors and sigh in reflection in the academy station.

Natalia drifted back to where she was needed as she assumed Rufus freed himself from whatever clumsy thing he did.
