I don't even know where that title was headed but it works, eh?

My real name is Adam, though you can call me Guru. Though I've just recently made this account, I've been here before. Well... kind of. I never actually registered, just browsed. I do that. Lets see... A few things about me. When writing OOC, I tend to overuse ellipsis. If you don't know what that is, it is "...". Yea. Kind of a bad habit that I try to avoid, but it happens. I guess it makes the words more dramatic in my head. If I drive you nuts with it, I apologize ahead of time. ^-^

I am also a member of RolePlayerGuild. I'm actually one of the staff members there in charge of introducing people to the site and helping them resolve problems and other stuff. Yea, so writing this right now feels a little weird since I'm usually on the opposite side of that. My username there is Guru as well. Oddly enough, I don't often have a problem ever claiming the name. It would seem like something that would be long taken. Maybe I'm just lucky. Hah. I am Irish. Born and everything there, though I currently live in the United States.

I was going to school, though I'm kind of on a break at the moment. I major in Theology and Writing. I minor in Psychology, though I may eventually make that into a major once I'm done with my other stuff. Also, do not ask me to join any debate threads on any of those either. I find it pointless and a mockery of what I do know when I'm stuck fighting with some 13 year old kid who thinks he knows everything. Not my cup of tea and I refuse to join in on it. Besides, that is not what I'm here for.

I've been roleplaying for going on 12 years in May. I've been basically writing since my older cousin began teaching me on the back of a cereal box and that was probably when I was 4 or 5 years old. I love to write and I love learning even more. My mother probably had a semi panic attack when I told her I wasn't going to be an English teacher though. I love it and all, but I have greater joys in my life. She is still expecting a novel in the future though. Haha. I think she has more expectation out of me than I do myself... but that is mothers for you.

Lets see. Oh! I enjoy all sorts of Roleplays. High Fantasy, Sci-fi, Modern, Urban Fantasy, ect. ect. I'm not too fond of 'One-lining' RPs. Nothing against those that do, just not my thing. I like to really get involved into my character and the world and it is extremely annoying to write so much and then get a line of response back. I'm not too much on Anime style stuff and Canon RPs. I prefer groups rather than 1x1s. Other than that, I'm pretty much open to anything. I even enjoy the occasional Arena style RP. Anyways, nice to be here and I hope to partake in some enjoyable RPing.
