Its been Five years since the twilight insident, the peace that was once in the world was restord, and everyone is back to playing normal.
[i]Five years after peace was restored, the characters that restord the peace were seen in the world after they were gone for five years. Odd things have been happening in the world. High level monsters appearing in low level starting zones, people losing concsiousness after dying, and a monster that attacks anything that gets near its master, and the fact that Balmung of the Azure Sky goes missing and when he does reappear there is more then one of him.

Jarose was in the winter cavern dungeon, he was fighting off a giant shonin warrior, when from the corner of his eye, he saw a lady walking through the dungeon. He blocked one of the monsters final attacks, jumped up, and while doing a front flip he cut straight through the monster from head to toe. The monster exploded and dropped a chest. The chest was glowing, when he got to the chest he got a power up and leve up. "Level 79" then Jarose went over to the lady and said. "Hello what is your name?"

By the time Jarose had slain the monster and approached the lady in question, she was... well, frozen to the spot, eyes open in awe. Between his masterful kill and the sheer ghastliness of the creature in question, Topaz wondered exactly why she had gotten into the dungeon, or even made it thus far. She hadn't come across any other monsters in her admittedly small hike, nor any players that were willing to approach her.

She hoped against hoped that he wasn't a PKer and offered him a large smile despite her small frame. Her hands subconsciously tightened around the staff, and flurries flaked off the walls, into her dark hair. Flecks of winter.

"Topaz. You might not know it yet, but I'm famous! ...Actually, nobody knows it yet. You see, I'm still working on that. And my level, too." She sighed, self-conscious. "Er... I have a feeling I'm in the wrong place though, Mister...?" The sentence trailed off as she prodded for his name.

"Jarose just call me Jarose... Also how did you get in here and where do you need to go? I am usually a PKer but since you are so curtious I wont kill you... Give me your member adress." To show that Jarose was trying to be friendly he gave her his member address first.

"PKer?!" She flinched at the words and held up her staff like an offering, rather than like she was about to cast a spell. "I'm sorry, I won't come into your territory again, I promise! I-I'll do anything, don't kill me, mister! I got a lot to live for! I got a family and sisters and two dogs and some cattle on the farm... oh, member address?"

She snapped out of her dramatic, mostly false rambling and nodded as if nothing happened. "Okay, sure!" Topaz gave him hers, as well, then thought of the questions he asked earlier.

"Thanks! And, well, I wandered in here about half an hour ago... there was a random warp that I took on a dare from some other players in the field, and it led me here. I think they were trying to trick me, yeah? Well, I suppose it's only fair after I gave them a chest full of a dozen low level monsters and told them it was gold." She laughed at her prank. "On the other hand, they killed them in five seconds. They were high level players... but not PKers, so they just warped me here instead of skewing me...

"I won't do that to you, though, mister! I was just having fun." She laughed a little, but she just looked nervous an still afraid. The laugh stopped, then she looked down. "I wanted to find somewhere to level that's challenging.. but I'm only level 9.."

"Dont worry about those guys I well handle them and also it takes time to level so dont feel to bad... You should battle goblins in the fields to get your level up" He kneeled down so that he looked like he was kneeling before her. "Dont worry you wont get hurt if your with me and I well show you the way out... follow me" With that Jarose gestured for her to follow him after sheathing his katana.

Topaz wiped mock sweat from her brow. Instead, snowflakes came off on the back of her hand. "You're a real life saver, you know? Hey, how high level is this place anyway?"

She swung the staff at her side and scuttled to catch up with him. "That monster looked pretty freaky. I've never seen something like that before. But you killed it really easy! Hmmm. Well, I know you're definitely higher than level nine." Another laugh, except she was starting to feel the chill again. The Wavemaster initiated another warming spell with a few mumbles and shakes of her staff. The topaz glittered in whatever light happened to be near by.

"I hope we don't run into another monster... or another person... a bad one, I mean. People are good, I like people!"

kuu looked up pausing for just a moment he had only just relized how amazingly vast The World was he then stooped up a bit and grabbed his staff of the moist grass the jingling of the rings at the tip of his staff some how satisfied him giving a sence of releif and calm, you could almost say he had finaly found the only place he could get away, alittle bit like his secrect hiding place were no one could touch him but thats were he was wrong. "Argg.. i beter get going then i got alot a work to do if i wanna compete with the so called elite" Kuu murmerd to himself while slinging his staff back over his shoulder while taking one last glimpse at the sunset and set off for the nearest gate portal.

Jarose looked at the girl and asked. "What is your name?" Then he thought of the questions she had asked him. "Well I can tell you right now that this place is no place for a level 9 I believe its around level 60 and hey to defeat any monster all you have to do is use your imagintaion... Also I am level 79 and there are some players around here who form groups to PK certain targets such as I because of the bounties people put on their own heads." He said in a calm voice. "You see, a bounty works like this. People seek out the person with the bounty and then that person gives them a certain amount of time to actually hit them if they hit them they get Half of the bounty but if they kill them then they get the whole bounty." Jarose said in a calm voice. "See I am a blade user but I work my skills in blocking, dodging and agile things, but when I reach a higher level I sometimes try and work on different things just to try them out... But yea enough about me tell me some information about you."

There are alot of new players Jarose thought. Some of them may have gotten lost or something.

Snowsong petted her baby grunty absentmindedly, kicking her legs in the clear water of the lake. At times, she really loved The World, a place where the real world could never compare, but these were not one of those times. Throwing her arms up in frustration, she flipped over on her back and started ranting.

"Where have all the damned low-level monsters GONE!" She yelled bloody murder into the skies. Sure, Snow was not weak by any means, having pranced her way through multiple fields in her short stint here. In fact, she prided herself being able to hold her own against monsters of a slightly higher level then her. But glaring at the particular monster blocking her way to freedom...

Said particular 3-headed beast was glaring at Snowsong as well, breathing fire within its confines. Now Snowsong understood why she should have created her character a little bit taller, and maybe a little big bigger. She was certain her tiny size, would not have been to her advantage should she choose to challenge the creature. Which should not even be around in this field. She added silently, growling. And it doesn't help that I've chosen the LEAST frequently visited field in The World.

The last thing she thought before cuddling up to her baby grunty to sleep was... I miss civilisation...

Stealth_Slasher looked around the field, it was slightly open.... good. Few players would come here, so he had a chance to finally get some rest. The back of his mind sang an etheral note and he collapsed to his knees, clutching the sides of his head as best he could with the twin blades fused to his hands. His eye went pitch black then pure white.

He was walking around one of the snow fields. There were portals everywhere, he felt discouraged. He was only level 15 and he wanted to find a super-hard field that no-one knew about. He looked around and sighed, approaching the first of at least 50. "How did so many portals fit on the field?" He talked aloud to himself, it helped him think. He reached the first portal, but when it opened... every portal on the field opened. "What is this?" He took a step back in shock as mobs upon mobs of monsters began to charge in over him...

Stealth_Shadow howled at the sky and punched his blades into the soft earth on the field. He bit his arm unti he was sure he'd break his skin and crack his bones. The ringing note cleared and the pain of the memory left him. Slowly getting to his feet he looked around. All the portals were gone, except one. He felt the huge monster who seemed to be focused on someone else.

He sprinted over and skidded to a halt. There was a girl by one of the small lakes, and there was a three-headed dog monster guarding her exit. Upon his arrival it felt his presense and turned. The growl that once took over its face shifted to curiosity. He held one of his hands out, his blade facing sideways and it slowly approached him. As it stood over him, one of its heads bent down to his hand while a second sniffered over him. The third stared longingly back at the girl, wishing to attack and kill the beging...

"Good..." The twisted words made a harsh note in the open air, as he spoke outloud for the first time in five years. He slowly raised his other hand until it was perpendicular to the earth. And in one spinning motion of steel and power, he decapitated all three heads from the beast. It fell sideways and disappeared on the field. The ring of exp flashed around him singling he earned 1 exp from the kill. He sighed and looked over at the girl. Trying to figure out if she really was dead or asleep.

(I'll start him out on neutral but I won't announce when he might shift back and forth.)

Snow groaned softly as her baby grunty nudged her, hard. Grumbling a little, she stirred and flipped onto her tummy, petting the panicking little creature. She looked around, first noticing that the 3-headed beast was gone, and the path to civilisation was open, in its place, stood a rather tall man.

Snow stood up and dusted herself, putting her little pet on her head and half-bounced, half-skipped towards the tall man, who was no doubt her savior. Skidding to a stop in front of him, she walked a big circle around him, intriguied by his unusual weapons. She stopped once again in front of the man, finally looking up at his emotionless face, and flushed out of embarassment. Taking a couple of steps back so that she could see him without craning her neck, she spoke, "Em, Thank you?"

Inwardly, she groaned. Great, that came out stupid.

Kuro wandered the field of snow and looked for anything worth his time, he had been here many times before so much so that he had gotten to level 34. Kuro threw his scythe over his shoulder and rested it there as he though:"man this field is desolate, no monsters, not even any people to PK or PKK." as he finished his though he saw another player walking towards a portal. Kuro said:"Finally something to make this interesting and worthwhile." Kuro ran as fast as he could trying to catch up to the other player, when he finally managed to catch up he put his hand on the player's shoulder and said:"Yo, I'm Kuro. Who are you?"

Stealth_Slasher didn't talk, but he concluded that the girl was fine. She tried to talk to him but he didn't wish to speak to another, he never did. He remembered a pair of blades he collected a few years back for their class and he pulled them out. They had unbelievable stats for what they were and he examined her then them. He realised the blades were easily 30 levels higher than what she could wield.

He turned his back to her and crossed his blades over the two and pulled outwards. The two blades began to shimmer then looked almost exactlly as they once did, though their deep red had shifted to a fiery ruby color. They still held all the amazing stats that they origonally held, except the blades were low enough that she could weild them with ease.

He handed her the pair of blades, "here..." His rough deep voce practically creeked at her and he turned away after she accepted them. He took several long steps and stopped, preparing to move back to one of the towns before searching for a more... secluded field.

(my mind blanked and i couldn't remember what class you are.)

Snow gaped at the new blades in her hands, prodding and poking it, turning it around and examining its wonderful workmanship. She tilts her head, confused however, as she vaguely remembers that the blades were not the right level for her. Tossing them in her hands, she was brought out from her thoughts by the sound of footsteps.

She quickly looked up, and noted that her savior was already walking away. Sheathing her new blades, she sprinted the short distance between him and her, and circled in front of him, grinning.

"Hey there! Thanks... I'm Snow, and you are?"

Kuu lept back while drawing his staff, "sorry, " kuu said, "I was defanitly not expecting any one else in such a desolated place. " kuu untensed his muscles and intreduced him self, " hi my names kuu i was just heading back to get some supplys. " Kuu lifted his staff back onto his shoulder, "ohh sorry almost forgot nice to meet you Kuro so wat ar you doing here anyway. ohh yeh almost forgot erm are we going to form a guild or something later on in the game or can we consider it or any thing.

Jarose saw two figures in the distance and walked toward them. He saw one and he noticed the man had twin blades but ]... "The twin blades were attached to his hands. Thats not right" Jarose said in his soft voice. He then asked the stranger. "Hello how are you two and are you two lost?" in a calm voice.

Stealth glanced from Snow to Jarose. He shook his head and turned to walk away. As he did so, Snow's flash danced in his vision for an instant. He was facing away from the two, so they could not see his face, or how it was twisted into anguish. His eyes shifted to pure white then pitch black. He fought to keep himself from jerking or falling to one knee as the memories began to echo their silent echo in his head once more:

He fought all of them without rest, He sliced apart the Grasses and defeated the cursed blades. He fought mages of every element and dark witches and Moths. He struggled agains the hobgoblins and the chests. Every second he wasn't fighting, he was healing and curing himself when he could. Always coming within the brink of death. There were three headed Hell hounds and a pair of fire drakes. He saw more creatures than he ever thought existed.

His potions and SP where running low. He wouldn't be able to go on much longer. A flash of movement forces him to bring up his blades to protect himself. The heavy tail of the second fire drake smashed into him and he could hear a metalic shatter. He hit one of the ruins and struggled to stand. His twin blades had been broken down to two 3 inch stubs of the blades they once were. He serched his gear desperatly for a second pair. He found a pair of Rohnin blades and put them on without a second thought.

There was a humm behind him and he turned... What luck! It was one of the ruins that held an enhancement spell. He reached out and felt the magic flame leap into his body. His strength began to increase slowly.... but that wasn't all.... his SP also began to regenrate rappidly. But he felt something else in the magic... it was strange and.... dark was the only word he could think of.

A roar behind him turned him back to his threat and he plunged back into the bitter struggle to survive...

Stealth hung his head slightly, eyes closed, and fought to drive the overwhelming memories from his head. For several minutes he stood there, as silent and moving as a statue, not even the faint tremors of his heart beat and his breath could be seen. To all others, he could have been dead. Inside his head, Stealth_Slasher fought to keep his sanity.... prevent his slip into darkness.... so he wouldn't have to open his new-born eyes to a fresh field of bodies laying before him.... not again...

Jarose looked as the man stopped and didnt even move, he didnt even show any sign of life. "Whats rong?" jarose asked in a calm voice.
