Anyway, I'm Eidenn. I got into role-playing... Well, my first foray was actually pretty early, but it didn't become something I was confident doing until '94. Since then I've had several on-and-off games IRL, mostly White Wolf and some D&D, but the lion's share of my roleplaying was done online. I'm also an avid gamer, reader, would-be author, and involved in a number of real-life stuff, so my schedule for RPing is kind of erratic; still, I'm usually devoted enough if I like the setting I'm playing in.

I used to also have school and work to factor in, but classes have just gone on break and I'm a victim of the recession-- Yeah, so at least more time for gaming?

Anyway, game or not, I'm also available for random chat, but my 'Net sucks so no IMs. Email and PMs are okay, though. Warning: I don't like drama, and I don't want to hear about other peoples' problems. Honestly, I've got enough of my own.

I used to be on Gaia since '05, except that recently their updating the site also deleted most of my items from my inventory, and they refused to respond to my regular PMs. That was kind of a wake-up call, so forget them; I've got better things to waste my cash on.

I like all types of RPs, but particularly Fallout-esque post-apocalyptic ones and pulpy Indiana Jones/Doc Savage-type games where we fight mole-men and punch Nazis while chasing mystic aliens from the Fifth Dimension. I'm a geek, but try not to be too in-your-face, and I don't speak in leet or LOLcats. I'm also good with playing plot-important characters and villains, and in creature-heavy settings I'll almost always play humans. I like kung-fu action, gun kata, and bards. I hate powergamers and people who railroad, and I refuse to cater to your Pretty Pretty Princess. I'm allergic to Major Suckage, ergo Twilight and Eragon are no-nos.

I like 80s music, shrimp tempura, and although I live in Hawaii I do not, in fact, do the hula or surf.

I prefer games that are small groups, since in my experience larger games break into tangents and everyone goes off on their own thing, or the game slows down and dies as we wait for everyone to respond. I'll also do one-on-one since it means less waiting around for a response, although a lot of those turn out to be boring, tedious, or obviously geared towards one thing.

(Hint: It's sex.)

So, yeah, I'd prefer group games or one-on-ones; it all depends on the person/people I'm playing with. Unfortunately, I've got a short attention span, so if nothing happens for a while...
