Cade smiled in relief at his words and moved over to sit at a seat near him while he worked. Obviously keeping her space so he's got room to work but she rather not sit on the other side of the room. As he asked his question, she sighed and looked away. "I was hoping that wouldn't of been asked but I suppose I should tell you. You see, my family isn't really the richest of households. My mother worked hard in her art shop, I tried to get a few pieces by singing and playing my violin and well..my mother refused to allow my younger sister to work. She was too young at the time to know what to do anyhow."
Cade rubbed the back of her head, staring at the floor while thinking back to the event that took place. The one she was coming up to. "My father usually wasn't hope til late so we weren't home to keep my younger sister, Ninette entertained. Not wanting her home alone, my mother spoke with the neighbor shop owner who said she knew of a werewolf who had just found an abandoned wolf on his way back to Ulnaus. He couldn't keep it entertained so it was given to Ninette. She constantly went over to the werewolves house to learn more about how to take care of a wolf. I suppose that's how her love of werewolves came along."
Losing track of the entire reason for the werewolf attacks, she blushed. "Anyways." Obviously the girl missed her sister. "One day my dad came home earlier than normal, but he wasn't alone. He was thrown into our house by a pack of werewolves. Frightened, my mother told me to go to my room." Cade's eyes closed a moment, a tear shedding down her face to make a wet design in the dried blood. "Apparently my father had gambled his way into dept several months ago and they kept adding on interest until it got paid. It wasn't.."
Her voice trailed off, her body leaning back carefully against the seat. She winced due to a bruise on her body. "I never went to my room, instead I was sitting at the top stair and peaking down into the first room. The next thing I knew, the wolves slaughtered both my mother and father. No hesitation at all. Luckily my sister was at the werewolves house so she did not see this. The leader of the pack looked up and looked me right in the eye, grinning his bloody muzzle at me and told me this wasn't the last time I'd see him."
As she said this, she twisted around and lifted her shirt up to reveal her back. It was recently bruised up but four distinct gashed were marked deeply into her back. Nasty scars. "He wasn't lying. In order to keep my sister safe, I told her that her parents had to go to the medical center at Iejir as they fell ill. To keep it more believable, I would hide saying I was visiting them until a couple of months later told her they finally passed. I had to raise my younger sister on my own until she came old enough to travel. Trusting the wolf she still keeps at her side, I allowed her to go her seperate way. I felt the werewolf pack would be coming after me soon and I didn't want my sister involved. And now..here I am. Scared to death as werewolves.." She paused, looking up at Karl. "No offense."
