Ella hugged her friend back before she ran off to the diner loos, leaving her there alone. She wrapped her arms around her small, thin body as the cool air whipped around her, and she began to rub her arms up and down, trying to bring the warmth back that had just strangely vanished. She was quite hyperactive about going to this party, just as her best friend was. Her first high school party, it was supposed to be good, right? She wondered who was going to be there, and what it was going to be like; all the popular people would be there, that was for sure, it was 'Prince Peter's' party after all. He really was the King of the school, and it was a wonder that he was even going to be inviting girls so far down in the social hierarchy as her! Wait... did he even know she was coming? Was she even invited? Jesus... No. His invites had been to everyone. Everyone included her, right? That was it. She was allowed to go. Phew, and some people thought she was paranoid. A small laugh escaped her lips as she stood there waiting for Tiana to return.
Suddenly, she heard a voice from behind her, and then saw her beautiful best friend standing there, wearing her dress. "Oh Tia, you look amazing, girlie! The guys are going to drop dead as soon as you walk in." She laughed playfully, before an extremely flashy and fast looking car pulled up in front of them. A Lamborghini, she believed it to be. A frickin' nice one too. Tia pulled her into the car, flinging her into the backseat, before then settling in the front and soon, they were driving towards Peter's house. "Please, Naveen." She smiled her usual grin, before then turning to look out of the small window.
Ella wondered as they drove, what would happen tonight. Would anything happen? Would she meet anyone worth remembering the next day? If so, would they have forgotten her? Just like a true Cinderella story.
I hope not...
